Food great not that hot though it was not drivers fault it’s to do with sat navs we get this problem a lot in our area I don’t know what to do about it. But as I said food great.

I'm very happy with the food which I ordered from 1st Quay Fish and Chips. It arrived promptly, in fact only a few minutes earlier than the stated delivery time. There was good use of the notification system to keep me informed of the progress of my order, which meant that I was able to meet the delivery driver at the door, just as he arrived at my address. Food was hot, in perfect condition and I enjoyed it very much. Thank you to 1st Quay and to Just Eat 👍🙂

We asked 1st quay to cater for our wedding on the 27th July at the square tower using their catering van and it was absolutely incredible, Georgie went above and beyond on everything nothing was to much, Greg and his team on the day were brilliant and the food was phenomenal everyone loved it! Can not thank them or recommend them enough

I got sausage and chips. I asked for curry sauce but when I received it it was basically a banana milkshake. It was so runny and off colour I threw it away. Rest of the meal was fantastic

I bought a large portion of chips they were under cooked and inedible, had to throw them away. The cod roe was not cooked very well either. but the fritter and scampi were fine

Good enough chops, rubbish service. We ordered, amongst everything, two curry sauces. Woman behind the counter seemed to think this meant ONE curry sauce. No, we said, two curry sauces. We were charged for two curry sauces. Didn't check and, surprise surprise, just one curry sauce. Returned to the chippy and she checked the receipt, decided that there had only one bagged up and given to us and gave us the other yet still appeared to be of the opinion that we had somehow worked some magic to make her fail to dish out our second curry sauce. Apology? It was a little like she had never had to say sorry before and the words didn't want to form in her mouth... And the sauce itself? This time it was actually watery. The chips were fine, although it did feel like we had actual chips from the bottom of the potato sack, a little like McDonalds fries rather than good old proper chips. But the assistants attitude made the event feel disappointing, so it might be a while before we return. Sorry.

Food arrived as it should be. Hot and ready to eat. The fish, chips and battered large sausage were all absolutely delicious 😋

Absolutely disgustingthat's supposed to be a piece of fish. 27th April still waiting refund. You also need to advise your staff, not to make false promises of refund as you obviously know about it was promised same evening and then you point the finger elsewhere

Stopped by to grab a bag of chips and whilst the young lady serving was nice, the chips and the cost were not. Lots of little bits - luke warm and not much in the portion either..at most 2 medium potatoes worth. When I asked for the blue light/defence discount after seeing the poster offering this, this was declined due to not having photo ID despite showing the membership card. My recommendation is to go a short journey to Deep Blue chippy in Bedhampton. No problem, bigger portion, great food, cheaper! :)

We got the munch box this evening and the food was absolutely delicious. The salt and pepper squid was definitely a family favourite and the chips were definitely the best I've had from a local chip shop. Fresh and tasty, we'll definitely be coming back again soon.

What's the point in pre-ordering when you have to wait half an hour after collection time? Also available on Uber eats aswell as busy with walk ins. Can't cope! Poor show... Then to reply to my review and call me a liar. I arrived at 6:30pm and was sat in my car (around the corner) for just over 30 minutes waiting for a friend to collect the order I'd booked at 6:30pm and was taking straight to a friends just down the road. I didn't reach them until 7;15pm. You work it out. At least own your mistakes. Don't come back with false facts. It's a bit embarrassing and I wouldn't have needed to write a poor review in the first place. Really disappointing....

The first time we bought fish, pea fritters and chips here, the food was excellent, first rate, the fish was cooked perfectly, the batter light and crispy, the chips and pea fritters delicious. Unfortunately, on the second occasion, the food was very disappointing. The batter on the fish was undercooked, soft and greasy. Suspect the chips were from lunchtime, definitely not as good as the first visit.

Wait was far too long and girls serving weren’t interested in customers whatsoever. They were more interested in each other and service was poor. Food average and portion sizes not great.

The food was delicious and hot. Absolutely would order from here again.

Not particularly very nice. Chips were chewy and tasted like they had been kept warm since lunchtime. I guess this may be because it was a quiet Thursday night. Fish was ok but more batter than fish. Chick & mush pie was nice as was the pineapple fritter.

Always such amazing food cooked to perfection, even on the busier nights we have never had an issue with food or friendly counter staff and the younger lad in the kitchen . Tonight the food was outstanding! We will be back.

The quality is getting worst and worst. Ordered 3 large cod fishes but they looked more like a small size, they were ridiculously smaller compared with how big and tasty the fishes were while ago. Do yourself a favour and order from somewhere else.

Usually our favourite go to chip shop! Was so disappointed after tonight’s order, large chips (usually enough for two people) arrived and it wasn’t even enough for one person! And the portion we did have, really wasn’t their best! Rest of the meal was as nice as it always, but was very disappointed tonight.

The meal was cold, we couldn’t eat the fish. The delivery time kept being pushed back. Although the meal was presented well and delivery took longer than the original estimate. We are quite disappointed as the quality is usually good.

If it wasn’t for the £5 voucher, I have collected the food myself as the JustEat menu is a lot more expensive than the actual fish and chip shop menu
