The best restaurants serving Default food in Epsom and Ewell South East

House of Hummus is a true hidden gem! A one-man show, where the owner/chef runs everything solo, serving up incredibly fresh and authentic Lebanese flavors. We had the Lamb Kebab/Kofte, Falafel, and Hummus plates, all fresh from the oven to the plate. Having lived in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, I can say the taste was spot on! I also finally had Lebanese garlic sauce again after moving to London—absolutely perfect. The owner was generous with portions and even gave me a quiet discount, which I only noticed while paying—a kind gesture (but let’s not take advantage!). With great alfresco seating and solid takeaway options, it’s perfect for a casual bite. (P.S. The Falafel plate pic was taken after I grabbed a few—proof of how good they were!) Highly recommended!

Delicious & plentiful tonight for an order for five. Staff helpful on the phone when ordering & with a speedy delivery.

Kate had the absolute cheek to give me a filthy unwashed fork, however when I notified her she swiftly changed it for a new clean one! The roast chicken and salad was so good i quickly put the uncleanliness to the back of my mind.

Most disappointing this evening problems again with Chips not being hot enough and too many ends of potatoes & not enough full chips. Fish & Sausage hot and yummy but both chips were just warm and dried out. Usually great food I’m disabled and do use this facility often 3/4 times a week. Delivery always on time and driver is great as always. Consistency needs to be on point always please don’t let it slip after it’s taken so long to find a good fish & chip shop!!

Superb food and service. One of the best places to dine in the area. Really clean and luxurious surroundings and the staff provide great hospitality and are extremely professional. Really nice relaxed atmosphere. A special place.

Went here for my boyfriend’s birthday meal and it was amazing!! The staff and food is great! Especially one man was so kind and attentive. I will definitely be back with other friends and family, I know everyone will love it?

Very disappointing service… They keep talking in their language when they see some Asian people and make fun of them unknowingly that a lot of people can understand their language..

First time visit. We had to wait a really long time for 3 dishes. The staff was really nice but the waiting time killed the mood. The food was ok.

It was used to be nice when dining with my colleagues from Atkins. The lunch snack menu was great. However, the latest experience here was awful. Surely one of the receptionist was not entirely honest about the reserved table on a Sunday. Having heard we might be a little bit late due to the heavy traffic on M25, we were told there was no flexibility to reschedule. However, it turned out that there were lots of free tables after arrival. Besides, we were asked to sit on a table outdoors rather than indoors on a really windy day and it seems that it was arranged like that after they were told there was a little one. One of the waitress was also impolite to my father using unprofessional facial expression and body language when no excessive demand was made and even my dad was just waiting at the counter. The burger for the kid was overcooked and bland. The only two highlights were the Siri Lanka curry and a lamb dish that was ordered by my wife. Overall, it was overpriced for sure for the quality and portion of the food as well as some of appalling service last time. Hopefully, this was not because of our ethical background but such Sunday lunch experience was pretty disappointing and unexpected anyway.

Terrific bloke Keith great food good for a chat ( when not to busy) beautiful views and great for dog walkers cyclists etc ( cash only ) Super place !! Been using him every few days since 2018 when I moved to Epsom downs

Chips w et e very bland, even with lots of salt, and the fish was tasteless and soggy. Pies were the only edible items.

We had a very good Sunday roast. The only, minor, niggle is that the yorkshire puddings were a bit overdone. A great selection of beers and attentive but in intrusive service.
