king fish used to be the best fish and chips in the area, it now awful. the fish used to be golden in colour it's more brown than golden, it's very oily,it's just really disappointing even with the discounts I doubt I'll ever use them again. I keep giving them a chance but it's not worth it. it s depressing.

This used to be my go to fish and chips for the area, but the fish Ive had delivered recently has been poor, it used to be golden batter, now is mainly brown and really oily/greasy. I'm unsure if they've changed ownership, I keep giving it a chance, but I'm just left disappointed.

Chips w et e very bland, even with lots of salt, and the fish was tasteless and soggy. Pies were the only edible items.

Love the food. Gluten free is available everyday. The staff are frie ndly and you can have a laugh with them. It is very clean and tidy. Its the best chippy. A portion sizes are enormous and excellent value for money.

A colleague and I went to this fish and chip shop the other night when we were on shift. OMG, cheese and chips and a burger, excellent service, and excellent food. Well, it's worth a visit .

Excellent as always, even though it came later than ordered. That suits me fine cause I’m a late eater driver got a little lost but I found him. Really nice guy. As it was closing, they even locked me in the spring row for free. Large cod more whale. Large chips awesome top of curry sauce. And a free spring roll. I haven’t eaten all day I’m gonna attack this. No complaints let’s fish and chip shop this side of the seaside, and will probably beat most of them too.

Ordered chips, chicken and a pie. Food lovely fresh, hot and extremely tasty will definitely be back. Haven’t had such nice chips for ages , definitely best I’ve had in this area

Customer service is excellent! Greeted in a friendly and polite manner. The counter appeared nice and clean. Being in a hurry we were kindly served as quickly as possible. We had fish and chips which were both well prepared and delicious! Definitely recommend this fish and chip shop.

Fish was very dry batter was greasy, ordered a large cod sadly more batter than fish. Also food arrived barely warm. Sausages were OK. On the plus side delivery driver was very pleasant

Awful. Cannot identify fish- not haddock, not cod. Terrible quality. We order from here a lot and this is just terrible. Missing food, cold chips, tiny cod that’s meant to be a large. Fish is grey and unhealthy looking.

Ordered for supper, with a 4 yr old…. Delivery 5:15pm- it didn’t come until 6pm! When we opened it, it wasn’t very hot and the steam from food had made everything soggy. Very disappointing. King fish used to be good - gone down hill.

Bought large haddock large chips, large rock large chips no flavour whatsoever and the rock was inedible reeking of ammonia. Won’t be returning!! Awful..

I dont understand with the negative comments! This is literally the BEST fish and chip shop around the whole of epsom, they’re always super busy and so professional. Always a clean atmosphere the workers are super friendly and kind! The fish is always tastes amazing and freshly cooked! They had issues with their potatoes a couple weeks ago but explained it with a sign up at the shop and also let us know ahead. The best shop ever! Keep the hard work up guys and thank you for your service! Xx

Been going here weekly for years! However the last couple of months has been disappointing! I’ve asked numerous times to cook their “new season” (the reason they tell us they are not great) a bit less as they’re so dry & frankly inedible, the fish bites used to be chunky bits of cod cooked to perfection but now they’re clearly a cheaper alternative! Really nice staff but unfortunately the food has gone from being consistently lovely to very average. Such a shame but can’t warrant spending that £ every week to just moan about it! I was hoping it would improve but actually it’s really hasn’t 😕

Had amazing chips from here for years but over the past month the quality has gone completely down the drain. Twice now I've had fairly disgusting, limp, brown chips. How they have the gall to even serve these to paying customers I don't know. I don't know if they have changed the oil or the potatoes but it's gone from a solid 9/10 to a 1/10. Safe to say I won't be ordering from here again

I am well disappointed I usually get it from here all the time fish was overcooked the chips like cardboard. I know you can do better gutted £17 overcooked, overpriced, unedible

Haddock was dry and not very tasty shame as this place is normally good but think will give it a miss for a bit and hope it improves and £1.50 for one onion come on
