Peri Village in Epsom and Ewell

Went for a family birthday meal . We could not have asked for more , delicious food beautifully presented and really good value. Our waitress was fab too

We had pre-booked as it was a Friday evening. We requested a table for 4 by the wall. When we arrived (we were ten minutes late) the only table available was by the front door. When I stated that we had a reservation and we had requested a wall table the waitress initially said we had not. When I showed her the digital booking she shrugged her shoulders and said someone forgot to write it down. We left and went somewhere else with better service, and better food.

I ordered a pizza for my son online, there must have been a glitch as I ordered an American but the system ordered American Hot. It only had the hot option appearing at the time of order because i had to select peppers as a topping, but couldnt move on, I went back to the page several times to try again and selected 'American' NOT hot and it still did it. When I called to say the pizza had chilli's all over it, I was told that's what I ordered and its my mistake and to pay for another one. Even trying to explain, the manager didn't care. Have used Peri Village for years, that apparently doesn't matter. Yet, this isn't the first time they've got the order wrong and still actually owe me a refund I have never claimed ages ago, due to trust. But when it happens the other way around I am treated like a dishonest person. Will never order here again. As far as I'm concerned you could have done something!

Food was surprisingly very good. Prawns where cooked perfectly, pizza was how I love it, nice thin crust, good portion of toppings. Can’t go wrong really. Staff were nice too

It was my partners birthday today so we decided to have lunch at Peri Village Epsom. The first course was excellent as was the dessert. When I mentioned that it was my partners birthday they decorated the dessert with a lighted candle and played happy birthday. It was totally unexpected! The staff were so lovely and made us feel special. We strongly recommend a visit.

Well this was a fabulous new find for me and my family. We’ll definitely be going back there soon. The food was delicious, the staff friendly and attentive, the cocktails tasty and appropriately priced, the seating comfortable, the toilets clean, the decor up to date, the menu varied and suitable for all tastes. Really can’t fault this place. Really glad we found it.

My first visit and i was really disappointed, A restaurant runs by a bunch of cowboy's. The food really tastes bad and the fish is rotten ,manager don't even speaks English at all . we waited over 30 mins to be served and when the food arrived it was called and had very bad smell .Stall all teenager's busy chatting with the manager and ignoring the customers .Price very high .service really bad ,the place very filthy ,

Decided to support individual businesses during lock down. Had pizza from here a few times. Great service, lovely food. Highly recommend

Popped in on the off chance of a table one lunchtime. It was during eat out scheme so they were busy but said we could eat in if we were out by certain time as they had bookings. Served very promptly, food nice, will return

Came in here during eat out to help out was going to leave straight away as it was packed with no social distancing really in place. Decided to sit down and eat was told that we would have to leave our table by a certain time too!! It was very busy so the young staff were struggling a bit to cope but did ok. All our food was very tasty but I thought the drinks were a bit pricey compared to other local restaurants. Tbh I’m not sure I would return as I thought this place was rather greedy and more interested in the turnover of tables rather that the satisfaction of the already seated customers.

We popped in for an early dinner using the Eat Out to Help Out. We had a 9 and 1 year old, and were very pleased with the service! Such friendly staff, so accommodating for young families. My 1 year old was being a Mary Minx and being quite loud, and the manager took time to come over and interact and try to quiet her down.... Dinner was lovely, peri chicken was so succulent. Will definately be returning.

Great variety of food. My family did not feel like eating at home so we decided to go out to dinner tonight instead. Upon arriving at the restaurant we were handed menus and shown to a table by a employee. I ordered half a chicken for dinner, one of my sisters chose pizza, my parents and other sister opted for something else on the menu. For starters we ordered dough balls and olives. I will definitely come back in the future.

i went there with my family of 4 on wednesday night we already booked 3 days in advance ,the service was great the food is excellent the staff very helpful .i am shocked to see a negative feed back from KATHY about this restaurant as i believe she's really upset because they put her near the window and she even didn't book as i was sitting next to her table ,she was moaning all night and having a fight with her husband , and for the menu every time the take the menu away i saw with my own eyes they clean it and wipe it then serve it again to next customer . Thanks to all peri vaillage staff and the owner as we had great night out

Visited tonight and extremeley disappointed. If we hadn't sat by the window as a table of 2 we'd have walked out! We thought tables should be socially distanced! They don't know the meaning of the word! Tables were far too close and by the time we left it was too packed for you to feel comfortable! We couldn't wait to get out and we only had a main meal due to this. My husband also noticed they took our menus away, put them down, then they handed them straight out to other customers no sanitizing! The food was ok but again not up to previous standards we've had in the past! We certainly won't be going back in a hurry which is a shame as we like supportimg local businesses

I will start this review by giving the restaurant credit where credit is due for its tasty food. But that it where the positives end. I visited with my parents as part of the Eat Out to Help Out Scheme on a Wednesday evening. I was shocked to walk in the restaurant to find that as many tables as you would expect pre-covid were crammed in, and the restaurant was at pretty much full capacity. There was certainly not 2m between tables, and probably not 1m between tables against the wall where people were literally sitting back to back with about half a metre between them. No screens between tables. I also noticed that not all tables were wiped between customers - this is BASIC HYGIENE which should be implemented by restaurants even when there isn't a pandemic on! Other problems included re-usable menus and condiment bottles which will be passed between different customers. Not sure whether these were wiped after use or not but judging by the tables I'm assuming they weren't always! The complete disregrard for social distancing and hygiene made me feel extremely uncomfortable throughout the meal, and we left before dessert as we just wanted to get out of there. In hindsight, we probably shouldn't ever have sat down, and certainly wouldn't have chosen to eat there seeing the proximity of the tables had we not had a booking. I appreciate that businesses are desperate to make money but come on, by not putting tables at a safe distance apart, you are not following guidance at best, and risking lives at worst. To top it off, our discount wasn't applied to the bill so we had to ask for it to be added! PLEASE take this feedback into account and remove some of your tables, or at least install screens between them! Food was good but will certainly not be back in a hurry at this rate!

Glad to see this restaurant up and running again. Booked a table for Saturday evening - good job we did as it was busy. Lovely welcome from all the staff. Excellent food, good choice of drinks (New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc was delicious), and very good service.

I am basing this review on simply the 2 pizzas we ate. My wife is Italian and we love a decent thin crust pizza. In my humble opinion Frutti Di Mare Tuna, prawns, anchovies, capers, black olives, red onion, mozzarella and tomato, with your choice of hot green, roquito or jalapeno peppersIs the best pizza we’ve ever eaten. Just sensational

We had a great evening in this lovely little restaurant. I had the gluten free pizza & it’s one of the best g/f pizza bases I have had in a restaurant. Food was delicious & wine not overpriced like most places. A real gem in Stoneleigh. The staff & Manager are vert welcoming & friendly. reasonably priced too. can’t wait to go back.I notice there is one negative review and I can only assume they were in the wrong restaurant!!

Great Food, great staff, welcoming atmosphere and a superb dinner. Wine was reasonably priced, pizza was delicious and Peri chicken was fresh and perfectly cooked. All in all, a lovely evening.

Just had a really lovely group meal in this restaurant. We were the only seated customers this evening although I noticed a Deliveroo bag going out so I'm guessing they do take aways. The garlic bread with mozzarella was cooked to perfection. The pizza I had, a Divola on a Romana base, was delicious and of the best pizzas I've had for a long time. Be warned though, that even with sweet peppers it was pretty hot. The staff were lovely and welcoming, happy to change the music if we wanted and served us very well. Finally the bill was very reasonable. I can thoroughly recommend this place.

Although it's a general Italian restaurant, Peri Village's signature dish has to be its pizzas.I enjoyed a Diavolo, with jalapeno peppers, spiced beef, onion and pepperoni on top - £10.45 for the 'classic' version.With the addition of a swirl of chilli oil, it was deliciously fiery.The pizza variety is impressive. My companion had the Caprini, which is a veggie pizza made with goat's cheese and spinach - and it was good too.The crusts are thin, the topping generous, and the overall meal filling.The Peri Village restaurant is pleasant, although it's a bit echoey and soulless inside. The food more than makes up for that.The loos are bizarre. Although there is a ground-floor disabled loo, everyone else has to go up a series of steps and ramps past the kitchen and on to the back emergency access. There's no lock on the outer door of the gents, so you have to hope nobody decides to throw open the door and expose your performance to public gaze. There is, however, a lock on the sit-down bit. All the same, it's strange.Friendly service, good chefs and filling (if dull and formulaic) puds.Well-priced wines. At around £20 for a decent bottle of red, the mark-up is nowhere near as outrageous as some establishments.A good community restaurant in this shopping parade.

Met some friends at Peri Village from work, second visit. Food was again delicious and great service but again restaurant was really cold. It wasn't a warm evening and both front and back doors were open plus the aircon was blowing full blast down our backs! Such a shame as it's a great venue but we will have find somewhere warm and cosy next time.

What a great restaurant which is hard to find these days the menu wasn’t to big and the wine was good value,not a big mark up,staff were very good and not in your face all the time we had the peri peri chicken fry’s and slaw could not fault it So it’s 5 yum yums

This restaurant surpassed our expectations. I enjoyed a delicious gluten free pizza, and my husband was impressed with his steak. The service was also very good.

I went here for the first time and am already going back. I loved the food, freshly cooked and tasty and something for everyone. The waitresses who served us were so friendly, polite and helpful. I like to use smaller restaurants rather than chains, so this is one I will use a lot.

Needed somewhere to eat in Stoneleigh and went based on reviews. Good food and service, will definitely return.

Whether you've ordered Chicken, Pasta or Pizza the food here is always great and I would highly reccomend

I cannot believe the good reviews on this place. I asked for my pasta la dente - no one, not even the manager, knew what I meant. How can you run an Italian restaurant and not know what al dente means. Needless to say my pasta came over cooked and was dry as was my Mums. So disappointing. I complained and they couldn't care less! We weren't able to eat our food, it was just too bad, we cut our losses and left - would not go back even if someone else was paying or it was free - please don't bother!

Have eaten here dozens of times and each time is a delight ! Food is delicious - and staff are excellent- really accommodating . Very good value for money and lovely ambiance Will return again and again !!

We have eaten here a few times and every time the food is excellent and so is the service. A great range of pizza and pastas like Pizza Express and a good selection of chicken like Nando’s, but I think they are better than both of these big franchises, and as always, the friendly staff make sure everything is spot on.

My family and I had lunch here today. It’s great, there is a wide range on the menu and all of the pizza, pasta and chicken dishes we had were of great quality and really enjoyable. I had one of the lighter pizza options with salad, then a very naughty but delicious dessert, for example.

Decided to try out this local restaurant on Christmas Eve- luckily I'd booked as the restaurant soon filled up. The food was delicious and generous portion sizes. Have to say the service wasn't great and I had to ask 2 different staff for cutlery for our main meal. Also we weren't offered drinks so again had to ask. Being Christmas eve we put it down to maybe just new/temporary Christmas staff?

We've eaten around 5 times from Peri Village now. The thin bases are cooked to perfection with a lovely light crisp on the edge and the garlic bread is to die for. Great selection of toppings and generous portion sizes.. But more impressive than the food is the service. These people care about their customers and provide top quality food at very reasonable rates.

Great little restaurant, good friendly service, great food and very reasonable in price. Basic decor, with reasonable comfort, hence no pretentions. Would recommend for a quick bite to eat or for larger parties in the evening.

Visited this wonderful restaurant with friends who live locally while spending a couple of days in the area. The six of us all enjoyed our meals which were well presented and excellent value. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were very attentive without being intrusive. Spent a lovely Sunday lunch/afternoon in the restaurant. Will certainly go there again next time we are in area.

Had a very enjoyable dinner at a Peri Village last week. For a meal we had their especiality peri chicken.as well as the food the service was excellent.

Came here recently with my family (that includes my incredibly picky mother and elderly grandmother) and we had a wonderful time! The chicken here is incredible. Nando's peri peri chicken has got nothing on them! The pizzas are great, and they are very flexible with changing any toppings you want. The waiters are good fun and very welcoming. Lovely interior, just look past the construction work happening outside. The owner is a lovely man that came to check if everything was okay with our meal and even prepared for us a custom made pizza. Dessert was delicious and we had a wonderful evening.

Really nice local restaurant, good selection on the menu, the food was great and the staff are very pleasant. Highly recommend, we will be returning, thank you.

This is a new addition to Stoneleigh Broadway - restaurant air conditioned, lovely atmosphere, relaxed and friendly, open most of the day so good for lunch and early evening. Visited yesterday with family for first time, food delicious, speedy service and very pleasant evening. thank you and we will be back

Have been here 3 times now and have not been disappointed! The service is very friendly and speedy. Food is great, if you like Nandos style chicken then the peri chicken is moist and juicy. Pizza's are amazing and the burger is very tasty and large! My 8 year old loves going here as the atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly. Great place to go lunch time or evenings.

Very good meal out with friends.my friends are quite picky with the mushroom and olives but they kindly took them off for us. Very nice staff. Would go here again

Went to Peri Village with my 13 year old son for a half term lunch. We were both very impressed with our chicken burgers and the chips were just how we like them - lovely and crispy. My daughter (15) has been a couple of times with friends and she was delighted with her vegetarian meals. Very reasonably priced and a real asset to the are. Would definitely recommend a visit.

We both had lovely meals which were well cooked. We didn't have to wait too long either. The portions were most generous. Very happy helpful staff. A lot of customers dining and it was absolutely buzzing. Pity about all the scaffolding as the restaurant is a little bit hidden but that is obviously temporary. We needed another restaurant in Stoneleigh and will definitely visit here again. This is our second visit. We were well pleased with our visit.

We went here for a meal as two families and had such a great evening. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food and atmosphere was very good. We had clear plates all round and will definitely be visiting again in the near future

This is a fairly new restaurant serving a variety of pizza, pasta and chicken main meals and starters and desserts. However they have really inexpensive but good sized and value children's meals.

Visited following a recommendation and I was not dissapointed. Fantastic value for money. Great food, sensibly priced. Service was attentive but not obtrusive. I will definitely be returning soon!
