The manager was super friendly and very lovely to chat to ! The young waitresses were so helpful and kind.

Restaurant was spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Service excellent and staff checked that everything was ok. Will definitely go back.

Really good - but it was too busy for the number of staff. Really great that you get good discounts in the week but staff are overworked they need to bring in more for busy times as its a long wait to get serves which is always a shame and doesnt set the tone

Recently didn’t have the best service at the epsom branch which i reviewed on here, it was obvious to them that it was me whom wrote it so when I visited again they recognised me in which they informed me of lol (which was quite awkward) but I can’t express how much nicer the experience was this time around, they listen and take on board what customers say, the food and the service was what I’ve always known Ask Italian to be, thank you

Went to Ask for team lunch and it was an amazing experience! The staff was lovely. Mehmet was really nice and recommended a lovely dessert.

I always love Ask Italian, the location in Birmingham has been my favourite so far but this one isn't bad at all. The place is gorgeous and the staff are friendly and provide excellent service. The food was decent, one of the sides (breaded cheese?) my cousin ordered mostly burnt and the calamari was slightly underwhelming, the sauce provided with each side was less than the usual amount but those are the only complaints I had. The mains were fantastic, tasty and presented brilliantly in typical Ask Italian style. I had the Fettuccine Bolognese and I very much enjoyed it. So as an evening dinner with the family, it was definitely a great experience! Would recommend!

Most of the food was tasty however the King prawn pizza was bland and had no king prawns, perhaps shrimp size at best.

FOOD 1*, SERVICE 4* Emily the waitress got 5 stars, very nice service. However, Easter set menu not shown in the official app/website and actually the app/website didn’t work: Kids meals ordered but never come. And £2 additional charge for butterfly king prawns as starter with Easter set never shown on menu or told while ordering, until printed on bill. Operational mistake. Food is the most important for a meal, I think. LINGUINE CON FRUTTI DI MARE (seafood pasta): mussels not fresh; clams only shells, without meats; linguine is soft, not al dente, very disappointed. The kids’ pizza dough and the MEATBALLS AL FORNO are good. Other foods including butterfly king prawns, brownie, tiramisu were normal. In all, this was not a good experience. And not optimistic for improvement as the restaurant has never responded for the comments here.

Mehmet gave us an amazing evening celebrating an 11th birthday evening, all staff (hulya) went above and beyond to make the children feel very special and treated! Food was lovely and whole evening was very enjoyable! Would definitley return soon.

Highly recommend this restaurant. Great atmosphere really great staff especially libbie and Agnija who were very helpful and attentive for a birthday celebration.

Rude waitress, she chatted on the phone and completely ignored me even though I was standing right in front of her with My 2 8 year old granddaughter's. Ten minutes later I left and will not be going back

Had this meal with family after an afternoon theatre. Pre- booked on internet. Waitress was lovely and welcoming and very efficient. Our starters were all appetising, nicely presented. The only problem came with my main course...a chicken caesar. The lettuce was wet, it was drowned in dressing, the chicken was so well cooked it was hard, and the garlic and anchovy croutons were just 3 burned chunks of bread with no flavour, our waitress immediately said she would refund the dish, so no complaint there. Such a shame as it marred an otherwise very enjoyable time with family.

Mortified. I used to come here very often, I enjoyed the food when it was well prepared, now the quality is deteriorating massively. I am here today with my family expecting a nice meal, however I was so wrong. 2 of the pasta dishes arrived with hair in them. How should this be acceptable? When we asked why the chefs were not wearing any sort of hair cover or beard cover, which I would know that you should as I also work in the food preparation industry, an employee stated it’s not mandatory. The waitress asked the chefs to wear a hat, however they must have been reluctant as they did not wear them, apart from the one young boy who rested it on his head, which clearly would not have done anything. When the waitress asked the chefs to wear hats one of the men he scoffed at her, like he could not be bothered to comply or re make the food. Can I also mention that the hat did not prevent hair from falling into dishes as they’re nothing like hair nets, which should be compulsory in every restaurant to provide cleanliness and no unhappy customers. Me and my family were all disgusted and couldn’t eat the rest of our food. Honestly I am so disappointed, we received one apology from the waitress, the manager replaced the dishes and he also had an awful lot of uncovered hair, obviously that should have also been avoided as it could have fallen into our food again. The only good part of our meal was that the waitress was happy to exchange our meals. Furthermore, Do not come here if you expect a good experience or food without hair in it. Fix this immediately.

I usually really enjoy ask, but todah my pizza was cold and took 40 minutes to come. Staff were lovely and pizza looked good but I was very dissatisfied with cold salad on top of my pizza and the amount of time it took.

First visit to Epsom Ask Italian restaurant amazing staff and lovely atmosphere We booked for 30 people for our Christmas Dinner. Great service we all liked it food was tasty and yummy desserts especially Tiramisu With Baileys and Orange tart was so rich in taste. We liked pizzas as well and starters were good with big portion. Overall I highly recommend this restaurant.

Went for childs birthday dinner on a friday night.We were served by a lady called Agnija. Genuinely happy, friendly and pleasant. We were very happy with her service. We didnt book it as a birthday dinner yet when my husband mentioned it to a gentleman they very kindly brought a brownie slice with candle. Very caring people. Made us feel very good,especially the birthday boy. Thank you.

A massive thank you to the team at Ask Epsom for hosting our girls football Christmas lunch today. The service was excellent where they accommodated us so well with some last minute changes and additions! The girls had a super time. Merry Christmas from the Pearls and Warriors at Alexandra United Football Club.

Very good service and good food, we both had prawn 🍤 and crayfish 🦞 tails and a glass of wine 🍷 each. When it came to pudding both our choices were not on the menu but the waitress was very apologetic. I settled for the chocolate brownie and mum had ice cream gelato which made up for the other pudding that I wanted. Happy 😃 to say that it made up for the pudding that was off the menu Overall a pleasant experience with very polite and obliging. Would eat here again

I went to Ask Italia in Epsom and the food was fantastic along with the exceptional table service from Gerry who was the waiter for our table. He was very polite and attenttative which made our dining experience enjoyable. The only downside is online states the restaurant is open at 11.30am on Sundays but it's actually open midday so just watch out for that. Would definitely go again because of the great experience.

First visit to Ask Italian in Epsom and the whole experience was wonderful. The restaurant is huge with good ambience. The staff was cordial, friendly and helpful- the girl who took our order helped us find the right gluten free choices. We were welcomed with a complimentary shot of lemonade at the table which was nice. Food was really good, loved the No-duja pizza which had thin crust and a spicy tomato sauce. The tomato gnocchi was simple but full of flavours. And the mini plate of dessert with a caramel pana cotta and tiramisu was perfect! Only down side was that some of the options on the menu were not available including a side of Baileys liqueur and espresso with Tiramisu. Overall my family enjoyed the meal and left the place happy! 😊 Would definitely visit again.
