The best restaurants serving Default food in Harting Chichester South East

During our Sunday morning group ride, we made an excellent choice stopping here—arriving right as they opened at 10 a.m., timing it to perfection. The breakfast baps were absolutely amazing, paired with fresh coffee and enjoyed under the glorious May sunshine. The service was outstanding, and the welcoming atmosphere made for a truly enjoyable break. Highly recommended for any cyclist or weekend explorer in need of a great refuel!

What a lovely little pub. We started with a drink in the garden which has views to die for… then had dinner. Staff were amazing, food was fantastic and the pub is stunning. A must visit. Thank you for looking after us 🙌

I’ll start with the positives. We went on Friday evening and the singer was great. So was my venison. Sadly that’s where it ends. Young staff untrained, they ignored us so many times when we tried to order food and drinks, it took ages to get drinks, to the point we went up to the bar to get our own drinks twice, so did another table, they weren’t overly busy. Had to request table water 3 times. We booked our table at 7pm and out main courses arrived at 9pm.

Beautifully refurbished pub. Very warm, friendly welcome. Enjoyed our lunch in the peaceful garden. Very welcoming to dogs.

We absolutely loved our Sunday roast after a morning on the beach. The service was great and the food was really good quality. We really appreciate they had a dog menu too - made everybody happy!

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Last visited the White Hart several years ago for a meal whilst it wasn’t a disaster it could have been better. The Good: the service , the parfait,the lamb shank, the liver and the beer. The Bad: the portion control and quality of the calamari. Had better cycle inner tubes! The Ugly: I know pubs have to make money but £14 .50 for a glass of Merlot is a bit rich. It wasn’t all bad nor all good best described as average but good staff attitude by not charging for calamari.

Excellent pub. Good food, very well kept beer. John and Michelle are great fun.

I had lunch at Aylings Garden Centre - i just had the best Burger i have had in years - i understand the burgers are homemade on site - also managed to pick up a few plants too
