Christmas meal with friends, Great service with friendly staff. A good selection of drinks on offer. Three courses where the six of us had different selections off the menu, and all of us enjoyed the food and the evening there. Thank you John and staff.

We were visiting the Cotswolds and booked Sunday roast here, what an amazing lunch we had. Probably the nicest dinner I've had while eating out. No exaggeration, genuinely beautiful. Then to top that, the gluten free toffee pudding was outstanding, highly recommend if you are gluten intolerant. We didn't get to see the rooms but we may well book in to stay on a return visit. Staff were so friendly and made us feel very welcome, thank you for being so accommodating.

Thoroughly enjoyed an impromptu stay at the Keepers Arms, staying in the suite located at the tope of the guest house. This is a suite and not a room and exceeded out expectations in presentation, décor & space. Truly beautiful. The Inn is situated in an idyllic part of the country and those looking to get away from it all, won't be disappointed. Venue looks box-fresh, brand new, and ticks all the boxes. Landlords were excellent people and very pleasant to deal with. Cannot rate highly enough! R&E

What a lovely cozy place in a prime location in the Cotswolds. Affordable food and drinks. Excellent price-quality ratio. Room is cozy, just okay. The downside is a bit cramped and some noise from the pub, but that also has its charm. The area is beautiful, you can walk to Arlington row. We will definitely come back someday.

Nice looking pub in a lovely location. Shame the welcome was rude and confrontational. Probably explains why this pub was quiet unlike the others in the area. Unfortunately unable to comment on the food as we chose not to stay.

We recently celebrated a birthday at the Keepers Arms in Quenington and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere. The food was simply outstanding! Every dish was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavour. We were particularly impressed with the generous portion sizes – nobody left hungry! The menu had a great variety of options to choose from, catering to different tastes and dietary needs. The service was friendly and attentive throughout the evening, making us feel truly welcome and valued. They even went the extra mile to make the birthday celebration special with a large flammable surprise for the birthday person. If you're looking for a charming pub with delicious food, (strongly recommend the tuna salsa starter) generous portions, and excellent service, the Keepers Arms is the perfect spot. We can't wait to return!

Only stayed the 1 night for the wife's birthday, lovely. Room very nice,a lot of thought as gone into the decor. Landlord Jon and his wife made you feel at home so did the locals. We loved sitting outside on a beautiful summer's night talking and having a laugh, with the hosts and locals. A peaceful village, no traffic roaring past in the mornings. Loved the breakfast box in the morning, nice touch. Returned March '24 for a evening meal and it was lovely, the lamb was excellent. Jon and his wife made us feel very welcome. Very sad, we had visited this pub in the past and have always had a great meal, sadly not today, the sea bass was off as was the rack of lamb, my husband had saddle of lamb that arrived nearly raw, the lamb had been advertised with dauphinoise potatoes, they came with mash, I had belly of pork served on a bed of again mashed potato and cabbage with no crackling. When the lamb came back well cooked there were no apologies and nothing taken off the bill. I has been a meeting place for the family as it is half way between us and my son and his family but we shall have to find somewhere else in future

I visited The Keepers Arms for a birthday lunch. As soon as I walked in I felt at home, the owner is charming and so helpful. All the staff smile and greet you as you pass them and everyone knows exactly what's going on. All very organised. The decoration is simple and elegant, and they open fires are lovely and make the whole place feel cosy and warm. The cutlery and all glasses are spotless and where they should be. On to the food, to start I had a parma ham, fig and rocket salad and it was simply divine! I could of had it again for my main, instead I had the burger that had been recommended by a friend. It was absolutely lovely, served beautifully and with a very good side salad. Not the usual afterthought you get elsewhere. All in all it was a lovely experience made even better by the lovely owner and delightful front of house manager. I'll be returning soon!

After reading the previous review, I would have to say I completely disagree with the author. We'd booked a table for my birthday lunch and upon entering were asked if we would like a drink. The fire was lit and the place was warm.As it was Sunday, I chose the roast lamb and a starter of parma ham and figs on the owners recommendation. When my starter arrived, I was not disappointed with either the presentation or the flavour. Neither was I disappointed with my roast which was both warm and perfectly cooked. My grandfather had the sea bass and was not disappointed or mentioned any complaints about it being limp. And, judging by the finished plate, clearly enjoyed it.The staff and owner were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. And the Front of House had a pleasant sense of humour too. I'm definitely going back again and will highly recommend it.

This pub has recently changed hands and the new owners have done little to encourage trade. Despite an open fire and a wood burning stove, the pub was very cold when we visited, we all kept our coats on throughout our meal. A pub should have a warm cosy atmosphere. This certainly does not. The food was very disappointing, my sea bass was limp and cold with no sauce and plonked on a bed of partly cooked potatoes. The choice of food is designed to appeal more to men, with very few low-calorie options. The interior promises a good dining experience with a polished wood floor, sofas round the fire and attractive tables and chairs, but it does not live up to its looks!

A group of us ate here one mid week evening. The setting is attractive in the heart of the West Sussex countryside over looking the A272. The menu was limited and the food although well cooked was uninteresting. The wine list, I thought for a pub was expensive. The staff were friendly. The meal for 4 (main course and dessert plus bottle of wine and came to £120) Average just about sums it up

Sunday lunch at the Keepers Arms was disappointing. It didn't start well when the waitress didn't know what Fino was. She then told us that two of the starters on the board were no longer available because they were so popular that everyone had ordered them, although the restaurant was only 2/3 full. No attempt was made to delete them from the blackboard, so I suppose that others experienced the same disappointment after us.My roast lamb main course was very ordinary, over-cooked and smothered in almost an inch of gravy, which may be to the taste of some, but not me. The vegetables took al dente to new heights - luckily I like raw cauliflower. My mother had chicken, which she said was too hard to eat and tasted like it had been re-heated from the night before and so left most of it. My Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon had none of the oaked richness that one associates with the "brand" and was served below room temperature. The food was so indifferent that we initially refused dessert, although mum relented only when a complementary ice cream was offered in response to comments to the server about the chicken. If this had been a "pub grub" meal then the standard would have been just about acceptable. However the bill for 3 came to more than £90 for two courses each with coffee and two glasses of wine. That was way over the top for what was delivered. I will not be visiting again.Just in case anyone suspects otherwise I am not a competitor or even in the catering business.

Very welcoming and relaxing pub. Plenty of books, papers and magazines to browse while you sit by the fire or on the terrace and no-one rushes you which is wonderful. The food is a mix of traditional and modern British so there was sometning for everyone. some might thinks its slightly on the expensive side but the quality was very good - really tender steaks and plenty of filling in the tarts. Thoroughly recommend it!

Unable to rate the rooms as we didn't stay here but what I did see of the pub - I LOVED!! It's warm and welcoming with a large fire to the left as you go in. We didn't eat here either but the menu looked lovely and I've included a photo of that. It's a dog friendly pub too which was nice. Spacious with what appeared to be a lovely outdoor seating area (it was raining today so we didn't brave it). Definitely looking forward to going back!! Plenty of on-site parking too which was a nice touch.

This is a super little pub, tucked away. Very popular, you really need to book. Staff are friendly Friends said the food is amazing and it looks lovely. Check the opening times as they only open certain days. My only issue is that like may other pubs they serve Fevertree which I hate with a passion as its sweet and has a particular taste which I find invasive.
