The best restaurants serving Default food in Adur South East

Firstly ordered a rum and coke, didn’t taste any rum at all so had very little inside and the coke tasted like cheap cola. Secondly ordered chips and very disappointed that it was frozen chips and not cooked properly in the middle. Pizza was half decent other would have been a 0.5 review. Took a long time for the food to arrive also. Overall wouldn’t recommend and probably won’t return *Owner is very rude when someone is not writing a 5* review. And expecting everytime everyone is having amazing food because they don’t make any mistakes* said the pizza was half decent. Also saying you was very busy and struggled to fit us in when there was at least 5 empty tables. “Which means you are the liar” I don’t need to go “visit Napoli” to know what chips and a rum and coke is meant to taste like. ** when I go to vist Naples I will be sure to stay away from any business you have worked in. No one came to “bother you” we came because we was hungry. If 3 tables when we walked in is you’re “ Busiest days” what does that tell you? (Good for them if they visited your country? Who cares about that?) no one went home with frustrations mate 🤣 I went home to have a real rum and coke. (P.S you should put on your menu - these are frozen chips from the supermarket. 😉 crying because you don’t get a 5* review. So so rude for a business owner having to use your frustration “behind google use a mobile phone” sad. Very saddddddd ✌🏼

Best fish in Brighton! Lovely staff working who are always happy to help. We started visiting in lockdown and still go now. It is always packed, but you get served quickly, it can be a bit of a bun fight 😅

Last night we had one of our most idyllic meals which was perfect for our needs. A combination of “smaller plates” made the meal so memorable with superb flavours. Oysters, tempura prawns, mussels and dressed crab salad. Without doubt our favourite restaurant.

Lovely friendly staff. Disappointed there was little vegan options. But still very good quality food.

Intrigued by the array of fruit & veg outside, and decided to pop in for a coffee and cake. What a fab place, very welcoming and quirky. The two ladies serving and making coffee were so friendly. As for the coffee and apple flap Jack - fantastic. Also did a cheeky takeaway of the fresh focaccia bread for Sunday lunch at home.

Walked in & asked for a americano & veggie sausage roll = 7.15£ & they ask 50p some syrup even though they didn’t have the one I asked ( Honey) , taller woman was very rude , clearly she likes the normal looking person over people like myself using there overpriced bakery , I have used the place for nearly 4 years & I can say I’ll never use it again..

1st time visiting this Cafe because I was getting tyres done at Kwik Fit opposite. This place is very clean and lots of seatings. I often drove pass and always noticed there are always customers in there, it says alot about this Cafe. I had bacon and egg sandwich and black coffee, all good and not greasy. And it came with a few French fries, very nice little touch. Staff and owners were very friendly and polite, and made you feel very welcomed. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

Delicious breakfast in a delightful art deco building. Excellent service. I plan to be a regular.

We called in for lunch in the fabulous art deco building and there was a great lively atmosphere with excellent service. It was fun watching the planes and helicopters take off and land while being served tasty food.

Food is great, beer is brilliant, service is lovely and friendly and the atmosphere is buzzing. I love a trip to the Tap House! We booked for 7.15pm on a Friday evening and lots was already sold out from the menu. Only one special on the specials board. The guy with the top knot serving strangely tried to get us to order less food…for three people which included two big hungry men who had been out all day…stating that they didn’t like food waste….we finished everything that we ordered so no issues but it was an odd encounter. Otherwise the guy was pleasant and friendly. The younger lad behind the bar and the blonde lady serving were stand out though and saved me a mussles! Thank you!

Coffee was excellent as were the sausage rolls and Danish pastries. Best Apricot Danish I have ever had! Heck of a queue but well worth it. Serve impeccable and amazing value for money
