The Shoreham Cafe in Adur

The best omelettes I have had anywhere are served in this cafeteria. I can recommend the sausage, Bacon and cheese omelette. Excellent brunch dish. Same quality for 4 years and always served quickly and hot.

We were at shoreham today to do some errands and we fancy a fry up. Went up on google to search for nice and english breakfast and this cafe popped up. It's a family run business as I understood. The woman behind the counter was very friendly and warm. Not the best looking English breakfast but the Hash Brown was wow! The best I had probably. I paid £23 for 2 Shoreham special (English breakfast) and 2 cups of tea.

We love this place. Always human and dog friendly. Delicious food and options for veggies. A family run place deserves all our support over the boring anonymous corporate cafes. Keep up the good work

Very expensive, poor quality food. Only come here if you want to get sick. Staff literaly laughed at me when I told him the food tasted like something from a bin. Rubbery eggs, greasey horrible sausages. Avoid!!!!!

My wife and I just had a really nice light lunch at this family run cafe, the owners are very friendly and give everyone a very warm welcome. The decor was light and airy and the seating was comfortable and although there were just the two of us in our party, there is enough space to accommodate families or large groups. Our omelettes were very tasty and just the right size for a lunchtime meal although the menu states that in addition to a wide range of breakfast items they also have roast dinners available. We will definitely be going back again, perhaps to try one of their great looking breakfasts.

Mixed up breakfasts, which were at best poor

I come here infrequently. It's good to visit various places and in so doing enjoy each location. The hospitality is good along with the food. The cafe is clean and tidy.

Lovely little family friendly cafe, clean & welcoming atmosphere, good variety of dishes on offer & service with a smile! .. 6 of us dining for breakfast /brunch on bank holiday Monday, cafe very busy due to being one of the few places open on a bank holiday yet the service was excellent as was the 5 delicious full English breakfasts and the burger & chips! … Good value for money, delicious piping hot fresh food with a welcoming friendly atmosphere - highly recommended!

Staff is friendly and greeted with a smile. Food is overpriced....good thing brought my own flask-not sure how much for cup of tea?....charge for £9.50

I'll be back. It was one of the wettest days I can remember since 2014 and I had a lovely warm welcome and a really good flat white coffee brought to my table. A very bright and cheerful cafe with families as well as local trades people enjoying proper breakfasts which looked delicious. I didn't eat as I only had a short while before an appointment, but the menu was appealing and varied so I look forward to eating there quite soon.

A reasonably priced place. Shame a coffee or tea isn't included but the breakfasts are large

Food wasn't delivered on time no update no one answered the required number to call if needed to food was out of specific containers, in the bottom of the carrier bag leaving me with 2 meals out of 3 to scrape off the bottom of the bag unacceptable and then requested a refund they saying that they won't give a refund cause they were busy, being busy doesn't justify my food being in the bottom of the carrier bag thanks very unacceptable

Everything you'd expect from a car. Plus, prompt service and a very clean establishment.

A great breakfast. And the baked beans were hot. Sadly, many cafes serve lukewarm beans.

Over priced for what you get and how it is cooked, with under cooked bacon, sausages from asda, sliced pappy white bred, and greecy hash browns this not so special was over priced especially concidering the black coffee was £3 extra, coming in at over £13 i will not be back. On the plus side it was clean and efficient.

We ordered our breakfast at around 9:45 and expected a long wait due to how busy it was, however 5-10 minutes later we were presented a huge full English breakfast, and a very enjoyable one at that! 4/5!

My craving for a bacon sarnie was satisfied by their lovely crispy bacon sandwich, smiling service and a few chips added to my take-away box. Clean, efficient, big thumbs up, thank you.

I visited the cafe for the first time this morning. I ordered 2 x Sausage sandwiches, 2 x Lattes & 1 x Tango - £11.40 (This was after being told it was £20+, slight oversight I feel lol) We took food away; food was good & sandwiches were accompanied by a chip surprise ! Very pleasant staff, I would most certainly return in the future.

It's a care serving a good English fry up. I cand complain about the food quality but think it's a little overpriced for what you get. I'd still return for more as don't mind spending a little more as a treat but couldn't afford to make it a regular thing when there are cheaper cafes out there. It may be that the increase in cost has caused this but it's not a deal breaker for me as the owner was ver polite and the service was quick and without fuss. Would recommend if you're in the area.

5 of us visited and had breakfast here today. The premises are clean and the staff are friendly, however the breakfasts were very basic and overpriced given the quality of the ingredients. I had the shoreham special for £11.50 which included a cup of tea (Not Coffee). No tomatoes, no mushrooms, 2 really poor quality hashbrowns, 2 nice eggs, 2 nice bacon, 2 average sausages, beans and very lightly toasted si gle slice of white bread (No choice offered). Nice people, however I deffinately wouldn't eat here again. The portion sizes are also very small.

Had the veggie breakfast here - highly recommended! Straight forward and delicious. Nice friendly atmosphere and clearly popular. Editing this post as I visited again yesterday and the food and atmosphere was still spot on - fast and friendly, and the amount is great too.

Not at all impressed in the baguette that was cut in half. Chips that I did not order were put in the bag. Onion rings were OK.

Food was only just warm and there was an item missing. Eggs were hard also

Driver was friendly and food arrived within time set but it wasn't a great experience, the food was cold and the boxes had holes in so the chips and egg were falling out the bottom, didn't seem very hygienic.

Just had breakfast baguettes from here plentiful and yummy nice touch few chippies.. definitely order from here again. Hot so tasty

Just ordered an Omelette via Ubereats, its not a omelette, its an egg pancake. Omelettes are literally the easiest thing to cook, if you're paying a cool that can't make an omelette - fire them. They should not look like this. Should have cheese and ham in it. No cheese in sight. For £9.80 I am seriously cross. Didn't say anywhere that it came with coleslaw, egg pancake was just chucked in box on top of the slaw - as someone with a horrible allergy to carrots, this is seriously uncool. Pregnant friend ordered a sausage and egg sandwich, asked for a well done egg. It is still clucking, gross undercooked white oozing out of the bread. Absolutely disgusting. Seriously don't know how or why this cafe has such good reviews. Unbelievable. Overpriced, undercooked and a massive letdown in every conceivable way!

Me and my wife stopped off for breakfast and gave the shoreham cafe a try, and we had a lovely welcome by the staff there, the breakfast was fresh and omelette my wife had, was clean vibrant atmosphere, I would recommend anyone to go there.

Excellent cafe for full English breakfast and more. The boxes ticked for me were [✓] Option of tinned tomatoes, [✓] Diet Coke from the can and [✓] Somewhere to sit and smoke. Also easy to park and on the 700 bus route.

Loved this place! Stumbled upon it accidently after visiting the whale car wash. Really yummy English breakfast and good prices. The woman serving was super friendly. Nice vibe inside and clean toilet. Didn't see the menu at first though. Bit hard to navigate. Apart from that it was perfect. I'll be back for more next time I'm in Shoreham.

Came for a relaxed Saturday lunch. Owner was really friendly food was quick and very good. Very pleased with the experience, would return, and would highly recommend.

PLAIN RUDE!!! myself and two friends drove to visit and come in for breakfast, to find the cafe closed, but as walking back to car (after paying for car park) there was a gentleman (guessing either the owner/manager/chef (someone who is of a high position to take charge of a delivery) friendly asked if open or opening - his response was short and rude, (making us feel stupid for asking a simple question, then simply asking about the car park we had just paid for- “not my problem take it up with the council” someone with a REAL christmas spirit about them, and delivering that high class customer service- next week or in future i should imagine would be the same type of gentleman complaining how small independent cafes like this are struggling in this economy (Knowing and Always working, whilst thriving in customer service myself I know how to speak to my potential future or returning guests). #BARHUMBUG!!! ….. sure we werent the only ones this happened to today, as we got back to the car we stopped a young family doing the same mistake!!!!

Have not been for a while I went in today and I think I've just had one the best cooked breakfasts I've ever had and if i could I'd put a lot more than just 5 Star's definitely the best in my local area

Place is very clean and staff were friendly. Ordered standard breakfast baguettes and girls had burgers. The burgers were steak burgers in brioche buns and they said they were very tasty. Used the facilities afterwards and they were spotless. Would go back for second visit. Lovely food.
