We were there today for my 59th Birthday & our 26th Wedding Anniversary.

Louise was a lovely waitress and the food was amazing!

20th wedding anniversary dinner! Food was excellent as always and Heidi was fabulous, with great tattoos too xx

Delightful greeting and hosting, requested a table switch with no issue; although fairly busy. Great starter, but the drum roll please; 12oz Ribeye, med/ rare!!!!!! Take a bow chef, some of the best steaks I’ve ever had globally… exceeded any expectations I’d have had, in any dining room, really was a grateful moment! Solid 10… well done team 👏

Four of us went for lunch . The restaurant was nicely busy . All three courses were very good, my rare rump steak was delicious. But the highlight of our visit was our server Lily. She was friendly , personable and knowledgeable . She looked after us so well throughout the meal too. Attentive but not intrusive . It was an enjoyable occasion all round and we will Be back

Lovely food as always, our server lily was lovely as well as lady at the front of house. Nothing was to much to ask for and interacting with my young children too. Will definitely be returning soon.

Best one we have been to. Never been disappointed with the service or the food. Tried 3 others over the years, and none compare to this one.

Service was very quick at first, however once we had eaten and were ready to pay, the waitress kept walking past us with our empty plates and glasses on the table and not taking them. Even after asking for the bill so we could pay after 25 minutes of waiting, the waitress kept just walking past us. We got to the point of nearly just walking out as it didn’t seem a priority to take payment and make us wait in the restaurant for longer than needed. During dinner, we found a large hair in my partners food. It was very off putting and put a dampening on what was meant to be a nice meal out.

My Wife and I had our wedding reception here 23 years ago and this evening came back to celebrate our anniversary. We as pensioners , now can't afford to go out as much as we used to but thought we would return to the POTTER and had had a lovely time , food was very enjoyable and of course the wine as usual went down far too quickly. We were well looked after by Lee and Caren albeit as they always have done in the past .Our complimentary glass of bubbly was a lovely surprise although it gave me the burps! Nice touch though, so thank you two and hope to see you when we get our next year's pension. Anne and Ray xx

Absolutely fantastic! Visited on a very busy-ish evening, service was a little slower than usual but not really a problem as we weren’t in a rush. I chose to have cheesy mushrooms for started and the portion size was surprisingly pretty big which I won’t grumble about. Then the monster 16oz rib eye came out, it was definitely one of my top 5 steaks I’ve ever had. It’s a little pricey but 100% worth it and cooked to perfection. We had so much to eat we couldn’t manage any dessert! Been here many of times and never leave disappointed

We haven’t been since before lockdown, I don’t know why because this has been a fantastic start to the bank holiday weekend! Special thanks to Leigh and Sarah for their lovely welcome and superb service ! Kitchen also deserves a special thanks as everything was top drawer! We had Surf and Turf fillet and lobster tail and half a chicken and chorizo with a lovely bottle of Barossa and chocolate orange bomb to get us over the finishing line !

Food was amazing, we shared a Chateaubriand and it was utterly delicious! We were served by Caren and Freya, both were beautifully polite and made us feel incredibly welcome! I would highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be returning!

Our waitress Vikki looked after the four of us brilliantly from beginning to end. Drinks were delivered quickly, our food orders made and delivered very quickly, even though the restaurant was very busy. No complaints. Excellent food, great service.

We were looked after fabulously by Louise, the Chateaubriand was wonderful and we had a great evening.

Food was incredible as usual. You cannot fault this place, we were served by the lovely Heidi who couldn't have done more for us. She informed us that our food was made by Jack, Kieran and Mason and the superb drinks were expertly made by Faith. We will be back soon!

Lovely family dinner had the Sunday sharers, delicious. Served by the lovely lily, starving from the start so millie brought us garlic bread straight away. The steak was absolutely delicious! I’m never disappointed with the food here!! The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the ingredients were incredibly fresh. Our waitress Louise was incredibly helpful and made our dining experience even better. Louise was always there when we needed something, but never intrusive. Definitely recommend on coming here, It’s absolutely scrumptious! I would like to thank Louise for always giving us a service with a smile🥰

The amount wevpaid fir two burger and chips you'd expectvthe food to be hot but we had to microwave it. A lot of money for two bog standard burgers and chips.

We had a wonderful experience celebrating Mothers Day at Miller & Carter in Lancing today. The staff were fantastic, our waitress, Sarah was helpful and very knowledgeable regarding the menu. The food was quality…All in all, an excellent choice for a family occasion.

Food and drinks were delicious, the atmosphere was very ambient and the service impeccable. The staff were amazingly hepful and went out of their way to accommodate us with a guest that had trouble walking. I would highly recommend, we didn’t feel rushed it was an all out thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.

I had the 2 course lunchtime menu. I know it's a steak house and I was with meat eaters, but I'm veggie. There was only one option, a plant based burger, and I'm really sorry to say I found it rather unpleasant. Unless a couple more non meat plates are added I probably won't return. It doesn't matter - it's a steak house!

It was our first time at miller and carter in lancing, we chose this for our anniversary meal as we heard wonderful things, and we wasn’t disappointed! Food arrived to our table in reasonable timing, food was presented and tasted amazing! We were waited on by Flo who was super friendly and helpful with choosing steaks and how best to have them to enjoy the meal most.

Another visit to one of my favourite places to eat, service always good, relaxed and calm while eating and drinking. There is something special about the Lancing restaurant that the Brighton one is lacking so, full marks.
