The best restaurants serving Default food in Marple South Stockport North West

Unfortunately we waited rather a long time for our food. I had a bacon and chicken toasty? It was burnt and the bacon was dry and burnt. Maybe the chef was having a bad day.

The best meal me and my partner have had in a while whilst dining out. Everything so tasty would definitely return. My favorite Italian restaurant so far.

“Absolutely spot on! The fish and chips here are top-notch – perfectly crispy batter, and the fish is always fresh. The chips are proper too, not greasy at all. The portion sizes are generous, and the service is always friendly and quick. Never been disappointed. Definitely my go-to chippy in Marple!”

A place that actually seasons food.

Being going to this great little cafe many years and we absolutely loved it went this week and vert disappointed the food was not up to usual standards don’t know if a different chef or under new owners may try out again won’t be going for our usual weekly outing

Had a takeout with the family and every dish hit the spot. Tasty and quality food and good value for money.

We had Sunday lunch here. I had turkey, which came with a generous portion of fresh vegetables, Yorkshire pudding, stuffing, & roast potatoes. My wife had the naked Sunday lunch, basically a large Yorkshire pudding filled with vegetables and gravy. It is disappointing that there was no Vegan Sunday lunch option, for example fake meat or a nut roast. Despite this disappointment this was the best Robinson's pub we ate in during our holiday. The pub is dog friendly in certain rooms. There was a stupid rule that water could not be served to dogs inside the pub, only outside. Other Robinson's pubs we visited during our holiday had water bowels inside. There was a dog menu available, but we didn't try anything from it. I had a desert which was nice. Our food and drinks were £25 per head. The pub is in a good location in Marple, right by the canal. Note We only ate and dank here. We didn't stay in the accommodation.

Menu really good and different to other venues which was a refreshing change. All staff gave us excellent customer service , a special mention for Ruby who is a credit to the business.

tasty kebab and not too many onions in salad.

This has been our favourite Chinese takeaway for years. Had a really dissmeal last month but decided to give it another go. Yet again the spare ribs had no meat on them and the prawns in plum sauce was in Pineapple chunks like the duck. Why have plum sauce on the menu when they don't do it? Really disappointing. Won't back unfortunately

Visited yesterday after an absence of a couple of years - what a transformation! The beer was also first rate. Highly recommended
