During our holiday as a family, we decided to have a walk to this lovely rural pub . The oweners are very polite and welcoming and my boys say it the best Coke they have ever had lol. The pub has more to offer then what you can expect with clean toilets and beautiful laid settings around ,plus the top deck outside as plenty of books ,blankets , woodfire etc for you if you just want to sit back and Relax and enjoy the scenery around . When we go again we will try the food. Can't wait !!

En route to the lakes lunch Fish cake and chips and crispy chicken sandwich and triple cooked chips . Chips were definitely out of the freezer , the fish cake was ok but nothing more and my husband said the crispy chicken was boring . Tartare sauce served with the fish cake was one of those really cheap ones out of a jar . For nearly £13 for a chicken sandwich plus £3.75 for a portion of chips it should have been better

Great overnight stay at the white bull. The boutique room we booked was really comfortable and clean and boutique style! The pub is friendly and the breakfast was excellent quality and great value for money. Friendly and welcoming staff, the team member at breakfast was very friendly and welcoming. The location is great as it asits between the historic towns of Skipton and Clitheroe and the pub itself is in a stunning countryside setting. Definitely be returning.

I've visited The White Bull to eat twice in 6 weeks whilst working in the area on separate trips. Both visits were excellent. Friendly staff, food is excellent for the money. Although the burger was so good the first time, I ordered exactly the same the second!

Emailed the restaurant to say how disappointed we were with our visit. Received no response. I attended with my boyfriend for afternoon tea which was a gift for my birthday. Firstly, the food was not as advertised with 3 of the desserts/puddings changed from what was on the menu. As in the picture the menu advertises - Strawberry panna cotta - Mini Victoria sponge - Lemon meringue pie - Chocolate caramel tart Instead we were given chocolate brownie, Eton mess and “cheesecake”. Therefore we lost 1 dessert from the 4 advertised and also were not informed of these changes and the food was just given to us as if that was what it should be. It meant we were given eton mess and cheesecake, and as you can imagine with the addition of scone with cream and jam we felt like all we had eaten was the same jam and cream over and over. The cheesecake was just crushed biscuits with cream on top and the Eton mess was just strawberries with cream on top. Additionally the ceaser salad was essentially a pile of lettuce with 2 anchovies on top. You may wonder why we didn’t bring this up at the time which brings me to the fact that the service was very poor. We were served promptly but ignored for most of the meal. Staff saw that we had finished but ignored us with a group of around 5 staff members stood chatting at the bar without attending to us or asking if we needed anything. We waited for that long that we just got up and went to the bar to pay without our table being cleared or the bill offered to us. To say we paid £50 for the meal which was not what was advertised and a very poor standard of service we were very disappointed. Photos have been added to show what was advertised vs what was served.
