The best restaurants serving Default food in Harbour Copeland North West

If it is open, I would always go here. Everything is home made, delicious and of excellent quality. The best in the Lake District. They cater for all diets and the staff are always attentive and pleasant.

Nipped in for one of their lovely hot dogs and my sister got the Polish sausage and potato dish to take out.Delicious. Now based in The Rum Story cafe where you can eat inside.

Ate here last night had a lovely meal. We chose the set menu food was delicious compliments to the chef. Service excellent and very friendly . A great place really enjoyed it. We will visit again

Food in here is always amazing and served fresh. The staff are friendly and provide service with a smile. Cocktail specials available, making it the perfect place for food before a night out. I have been here for lunch, casual drinks, tea & a birthday party! Easily one of the best places in Whitehaven! Thank you x

So wonderful, incredible food, wonderful service! I had to leave early for my friends birthday meal as my baby was screaming the whole time but the staff were so helpful with my pram and making space for us and one member of staff even offered to hold my crying baby so that I could enjoy my food for a minute!

An excellent menu with a good variety of choices. Very unintrusive but appropriate service with friendly advice when requested. My choice of toasted Goat's cheese and salad was very tasty with a lovely dressing. The hot drinks choice was also very good. the prices were very reasonable too.

Does the boss ever smile? Food was okay but the boss rushing around with a face like thunder. Doesn't matter how busy you are but doesn't take much to smile

We didn’t stay in the hotel but had a lovely birthday celebration dinner in the restaurant. I’d recommend it for a nice meal out when visiting Whitehaven. The staff were all lovely and the food was really delicious.

Our waitress Daisy was outstanding! Castle Knights is charming, the staff members are welcoming, and the food is DELICIOUS! We had lamb chops, pan- fried sea bass, and apple crumble with custard for dessert. We were delighted to have such a lovely meal, enjoy the lovely atmosphere in a beautiful neighborhood, and celebrate Mia's 🐶 birthday! THANK YOU for a stellar experience!

1st Visit since reopening and it didn’t disappoint. The food was lovely and the staff friendly and helpful. The restaurant was a little quiet but the staff were still attentive . Definitely recommend a visit lunch menu was reasonable priced .

Great evening meal 2 days in a row. 2x pizzas and 2x a starter. It was really very good and very well presented.

Lovely busy little bar. Very friendly staff. View of the harbour. Nice to sit outside in good weather. Great place to people watch and relax.

Edit: Thursday 9th November 2023: As real ales go, I really enjoyed the "Wonky Donkey" = Still excellent! New information: As of today, 19th August 2023 they have proper bottles of proper Coca-Cola too! Nice pub, great location, good selection of beers all of which are well looked after, tidy interior, clean glasses, ok selection of crisps / nuts, excellent range of comfy seating, friendly staff, good clean toilets. Useful info: Level access (I expect likely wheelchair friendly.) Good layout (I expect likely wheelchair friendly) Less than 100 metres to defibrillator on the harbour to the north. Bus stop close by (easily less than 50 metres and level) Fish and chips, Pizza, Kebabs, Indian Food, Chinese Food, Fried Chicken, Taxi Rank all available within 100 metres or so.
