The best restaurants serving Default food in Neville's Cross County Durham North East

Sadly, this place never has any real ales that's not an IPA or Gold. Their ales are lighter than their lagers! They don't even offer any other darker ales in bottles?? 🤦‍♂️ This is now my third attempt to purchase a "bitter-type" ale from this establishment ... With no success... 😳😠 If you like fruity IPA's, you'll have something on offer here. If you're looking for a proper' bitter', best to avoid the place and grab a pint outside of the station.

Well we have been here loads of times and has always been good. Went today Fri 29th March 2024, Ok it’s Good Friday but you would think they would be prepared. After a bit of a wait watching people get served that came in after us, a waitress came over and took our order but there was only small fish and no large, well call me a conspiracy theorist but the small fish was half a large fish so where were they getting the small fish from 🤔. It was plain to see that it was all to do with money as the small fish was £7 something and the large was £12 odd… so along came our meals and it was ridiculous a bit of fish 4” x 6” and about 15 chips if that. Well I’m sorry but we won’t be back ever for the sake of making an extra few quid you’ve lost two regulars… plus gave the girl a £5 tip before we got the food and she didn’t even say thanks! Shame on you

I visited Spice Lounge Durham with my family, and from start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. The food was amazing full of flavour, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond to make us feel special. They truly made our evening memorable, and we couldn't have asked for better service. I had seen a few negative reviews before visiting, but honestly, I wouldn’t worry about them at all our experience was exceptional, and I can’t praise the place enough. Highly recommend Spice Lounge Durham we’ll definitely be back!

Made inquires about a private lesson. No one answered the phone. No one returned a call after leaving a voice message. No one returned an email message created on their website. I guess they don't need the business.

Great place to have some gin cocktails, gorgeous in Summer sitting outside with the beautiful view of Durham Castle....quirky place too, a must visit!!

Easily the best Thai restaurant I've dined at. I've eaten here a fair few times now and every single thing we've had has been amazing. The pork belly krapow in particular is incredible, and the sauces on all the meals are delicious. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Sunday Roast for Mother’s Day! We came here for a Sunday roast on Mother’s Day, and it was excellent. The food was delicious, and everyone really enjoyed it. We’ve had the Sunday roast here before, and it’s always a great experience.

We stayed at farnley tower hotel ... richard was very nice and told us about taxi and bus in centre ... hotel is beauiful and clean our room was cosy and big we had tea coffee in room too that bonus...the breakfast was good too plenty choice .. anna the manager was very nice we will defo return the hotel is not location for everything .

Terrible food . This is the second time I’ve been to this place for food and both times have left me Ill. The most recent time I’ve gone I ordered the chicken satay and was given the most poor quality “chicken “ I have ever eaten . Parts of it were not white and actually a dark colour . It was crunchy and chewy . The sauce actually was nice once you ate more of it . The worst part was I got a few tiny bits of this chicken for £7.50
