Been coming here for ages and loved it. This time however, Stone cold food, delivered an hour after requested time. (Given 2 hours notice) restaurant would not replace the food even though I offered to take it back. Just eat offered me 20% refund on the order due to their “cold policy”. The just eat driver was picking up food from other restaurants which is why the food was cold. Complained to just eat to be told a manager would contact me in 48 hours. 1 week later still heard nothing.

Everything you order from here is either good or phenomenal! I adore their chicken burgers (best in a 10 mile radius) and the spring rolls. My husband loves their wings (again best in the area) and the shawarma wrap. definitely our go to takeaway, will be getting all our friends and family to try

I had to go and get the food myself after waiting 2 and a half hours because there was no divert drivers available and when I got home the food had clearly been sat there as the chips were all soggy and the food didn't taste great.

I love Kitchen 38s food! Been ordering for years since it opened. Portions are getting a bit smaller on some dishes, would love if they gave options for larger sizes for the shawarma kebabs! Would happily pay more.

the delivery time got pushed back three times, the food was barely warm when it arrived, I asked for salad with the calzone and was given chips. the good tasted good but shouldn't have to warm it up.

Absolutely fantastic food. Very fresh and handmade. Base is NOT pre cooked like most. Nothing is pre manufactured. One of the best overall. Very nice.

Food was great, really tasty. We have found lately that delivery time is constantly being pushed back - I understand that this is due to using Just Eat drivers but it lets an amazing restaurant down. We’ve had to cancel orders recently as the wait time has moved from 30mins to an hour, to 90 mins to 2 hours. Fault is with Just Eat - not the wonderful Kitchen 38. I will order direct collect in future.

I had an awful meal last week from Spicy Moments, this week the food was lovely but I wish I could have cancelled it as it was so late. Reluctant to order through this app again

delivery driver was rude to start but then the food was just terrible, the rice was just one block, it was so overdone you couldn't even break it up, even the dog wouldn't eat it. The chicken shwarma had a strong smell of fish although the taste was only slightly fishy, I love fish, but since I ordered chicken, it was not a nice surprise.

Was served by prachi, excellent customer service skills and made me feel very welcomed! Will definitely be returning. Amazing food too. Give her a raise!

I just had an absolutely divine veggie pizza (toppings wow so gourmet) and my boyfriend had a stunning full of flavour pepperoni pizza. Ordered at 9:30 and deliver time had changed 4 times. Called and was told they have a new driver on route, lady on the phone was lovely and apologetic. Order was delivered at 11:02 and food was freezing cold. Would recommend ordering for collection only.

The food from this takeaway is always fantastic, restaurant quality - just eat drivers on the other hand, shocking! Watched the driver do several drop offs/collections in the opposite direction before passing the restaurant 20 mins later to deliver mine - lack of common sense resulting in cold food again. Driver also turned upto door with food in hand and not in heat bag which I imagine contributed. These drivers really let good restaurants down as their poor service puts customers off using thi

Really dissapointed. The food from the restaurant is very good however the just east delivery was awful. He took an hour to deliver the food so it turned up cold. The restaurant were helpful when called but the delivery being an hour late ruined the food

The food would have been one of the best take aways we have had in a while but the hand cut chips, loaded fries and garlic bread were cold. The paramo was warm. We will try Kitchen 38 again but if the food is cold again, it will be our last order.

Ordered “pizza fries” that were meant to be loaded fries with tomato sauce, cheese, and pepperoni. Opened the box to cheesy chips.

Ordered a burger and pizza. The burger was great, as usual, but the pizza was far greasier than normal, making it more similar to cheaper typical pizza place offerings. Hopefully it was just a one off, as Kitchen 38 is the only place I've found who actually know how to make pizza.

This is second time I have ordered from kitchen 38 first time it was over an 1 hour late food had to be warmed up this time it was 30 minuets late the delivery man blamed kitchen 38 if he had to wait for food then I would have expected it to be hot NO had to be reheated think delivery from them is a NO

The loaded duck fries were perfect as was the chicken. The pizza was on a crust that was too thick and the option wasn’t there to chose deep pan, thin crust etc. My partner is in search of a decent 4 cheese pizza and still hasn’t found it, I think that you should also give the option to remove or add toppings as the onion killed this. I found the chips really nice but they tasted like sweet potato fries which I would never order. So from me a 9/10 and my partner is a 4/10. I think he’ll try yiir

Put an order through just eat. Got a phone call to say delivery was wrong and the guy had picked up the order from shop and it wasn’t ours, ours was still there. To refuse it and phone shop. When I phoned shop, was fobbed off and said they didn’t phone customers and was totally unhelpful. Delivery guy came and we checked order and. Wasn’t ours so refused it. He went and came back 29 mins later with our order which was freezing cold and had to be chucked out. When shop phoned back, no emphathy, lied and didn’t want to know. Will not be getting another £45 off me!!!!

After placing the order kitchen 38 had the food ready with reasonable time however for over a hour my order was saying rider assigned. After multiple calls to the restraunt they managed to call just eat to find a new rider. For such a big company I think it is ridiculous that you don’t unassign riders if they are not arriving to the restraunt when they say they will.

Very tasty kebab - nice marinade. Probably my go to place in Durham for a chicken kebab that is decent and not over priced. Delivery is nearly always on time as well when I order from kitchen 38. Thumbs up from me!

I never leave reviews unless it’s for a negative reason because I’m a hard to please snob. However, this takeaway is the best in Durham by far. They put that little bit extra effort into your food and it really shows tbh. Really competitive price wise as well.

Pizza was great, as usual. However, even though I ordered a 14", I measured it at 12.5" at its widest.

Really disappointed with the food... hot and cold food in the same box had all turned lukewarm. Crispy chicken wrap was more like soggy chicken wrap. Chips werent very nice. A garlic sauce & bachemel sauce were missing. Almost 2 hours for delivery but it is a Saturday night. It just wasn't worth the wait unfortunately 😞

OMG!!!!! Absolutely delicious food. Crispy chicken was very crispy but still juicy. Wings spicy but tasty. Teriyaki bao bun was amazing. Chips were fantastic. Hoisin duck pizza was lovely. Whole meal was fantastic! 100% recommend!!!
