Nicely maintained, convenient. My son was taking tennis lessons. Nice and quite. Have nice little cafe with good food.

This is a great racquet club! If you get to know the wonderful pros here, Shikha (the Indian Tiger), Jorge, Patrick, Jasa, Lauren and Forrest, you'll improve your game and make friends for life. They are truly great people. The clay courts are very well maintained, the club restaurant is really nice, though I wish it had more extensive hours, and the club members are great people. It's a really nice community. There are occasional mixers and tournaments and there are clinics for Men and Women every week and plenty of opportunities for kids to learn at their clinics and summer camps. I highly recommend this place!

Beautiful upscale tennis club with perfect hartru courts

We were actually dining at Tour de Pizza's new home, not playing tennis. We're SO happy to have them back in the neighborhood! Great healthy-ish pizzas and plans for an expanded menu of seasonal pasta dishes and other delights. Oh, and they now have a full bar.

Jasa is the best coach we have ever worked with!!!!

Can't give a full rating because the full club was not open. We just watched a club vs club junior matches. 94 deg. Heat index over 102. The courts were extremely dry. Their tennis coach was cordial. Competition was good. Nice to be out in the courts.

Love this club! Courts are in great shape. Lots of shade. Clean facilities. Most importantly, great tennis and great instruction!

Booked and turned up on a winters night to be seated in the doorway - really - absolutely shocking customer service - ended up at The Spice Lounge - what a contrast - they were superb and the food excellent

Came on a Sunday (9/12) spontaneously with girlfriend, place was empty but we assumed its because the place was new and we hadn’t seen any advertising yet.We had spiced poppadoms to start with then ordered chicken shashleek and murghi chilli.Food came prompt and hot and was full of flavour.The staff even gave us a bombay aloo side on the house which was very nice of them.Both of the young waiters were friendly and attentive - even left them a tip.Will definitely be back again, hope to see the place do well.

We went here just for a drink because it is under the hotel we were staying at. We decided to eat because the staff are superb and the surroundings are excellent. The wine list is good. The menu has the usual dishes but they really excelled when we asked for a dish not on the menu. They made it and it was superb. Price wise it is good value but the real assets here are the staff and the surroundings. Would definitely recommend.

Party of 10 for a gathering of friends. From the moment we arrived the service was fabulous and then there was the food oh my oh my the food was outstanding. What a wonderful menu. Thank you so much for a great night. Hats off to you and your staff.

Brand new up market Indian restaurant, working hard to bring an up to date Indian dining experience to Durham. It's well worth a visit, and the quality of the cooking is a cut above anything else in the City. Not quite at the level you would get in London, and still relies a bit too much on old school favourites. Overall very good

We visited this beautiful restaurant last night and had the most delicious meal. The bar area is tastefully decorated and staff are welcoming. The restaurant is small but very beautifully lit, white tablecloths and a cosy atmosphere. Our meal portions were perfect. Not too big, but tasted amazing. The service was impeccable. I shall certainly be returning!

Some of the best Indian food I have had and certainly the best in the North East. It’s a very pleasant restaurant and not a typical apres-beer curry house. Not cheap, but worth it.

Having wanting to dine at Club Mumbai for some months I eventually got to experience this truly wonderful restaurant this evening. Having booked a table some weeks in advance as a party we were truly blown away with the superb setting of the restaurant, upon entering the restaurant we were warmly greeted by Saba and his team in the bar area with its stunning decor, drinks were quickly dispensed in very modern sleek glasses whilst we perused the menu. Upon being shown into the main dining area which I can only describe as stylish understated decadence with its copper cutlery, crystal glasses and pristine table linen. We were served our food which is simply the best Indian food I have experienced. Attentive service throughout the whole dining experience with a superb bottle of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc this was truly a great evening which I am certain we will experience it again very soon.....

I visited on Friday night with 7 friends. The restaurant is extremely small but tastefully decorated. The menu was excellent and the food we had was delicious. However, the mood of the evening was slightly dampened when we were “shushed” by the manager! No one was raising their voice or being offensive, we were simply a table of 8 people chatting and laughing! If you don’t want noise in your restaurant you should not accommodate larger parties .... or perhaps get a sign asking people not to enjoy themselves!

I’m recommending Club Mumbai to all of my friends and ate there for the first time last week.

We visited this establishment last week.What a let down.To start with they didn't have our reservation which I had made 2weeks earlier,so we were seated right beside front door.Food was cold as it had tobe brought to us via the outside of the restaurant.Needless to say we won't be going back

Me and my wife went for our anniversary last night. It’s a beautiful setting and we had our poppadoms outside then went in for our meal. Lovely food, lovely inside and the staff were all brilliant. Will be going back

We visited on a warm summer's night & had our poppadoms and pickles outside with a drink. Lovely views across the lawn overlooking Durham below. The starters were delicious, as we're the mains. The prices are higher than you might normally expect to pay, but it's more than your usual restaurant. If there is a criticism, it's that there seems to be too many seats crowded into the room, making things somewhat difficult for the floor staff, and not enough tables to eat outside in the summer evenings, but shouldn't detract from the overall excellent experience.

Durham is a beautiful city lacking good restaurants. Club Mumbai has everything one wants in a good restaurant. Amazing Food, service, and ambiance. A welcome addition to the Durham food scene. Have been several times with friends and family never been dissapointed. Mr. Saba goes out of his way to make his guests feel special and comfortable. And the chef makes magical food.

This little gem of an Indian restaurant serves excellent food... definitely not your run-of-the-mill Indian. Some really interesting dishes and beautifully presented. The French vanilla cocktail was delicious too 😃

Stayed at The Farnley Towers Hotel last night, decided to go down stairs to Club Mumbai. We were impressed the moment we walked in. Great service very friendly staff. We had poppadoms and dips. Never had poppadoms so light and tasty. Onion bhajis melted in your mouth, our main course was so tasty. Finished with a Cup of Masala Chai. We loved it all. Staff can't do enough for you very very friendly. Wish it was just round the corner, next time we are in Durham we will certainly be back.

Like some of the other reviews were we’re staying above the restaurant at Farney Towers. At check in; our hostesses said how nice the Indian restaurant was on site.

What an experience, total satisfaction and more. Amazing food, exquisite flavours, superb choice and wonderful service. We were the only two customers dining and would recommend visiting on a Monday night because of that, we will look to come stay again at the Farnley just to experience another amazing meal. Thank you so much all the guys, from the chef to the young waiters, you made our night.

This is the latest addition to the Mumbai restaurants & like the others didn’t disappoint . This restaurant is in the Farnley Towers hotel building . Used to be known as the Gourmet Spot less than half a mile off the city centre. The restaurant itself is small with a nice outside patio area , when we visited there was a saxophonist playing mostly background music . The food is excellent . I asked for a starter not on the menu and that wasn’t a problem .we were well looked after by Saba the owner / manager . All four of us had a lovely evening plenty of good food and drink

This is a nice club. I didn't get to use the courts, but they seemed nice. The bar was really nice, great pizza.

Courts were dusty and didn't have much real estate around each court. We had folks hitting into the fences a lot.

A warm and friendly club with all levels of play for both men and women, as well as a great instructional pro staff for children and adults. Check it out!
