The best restaurants serving Default food in Tooting Wandsworth London

The only authentic pie and mash left in London All the nay sayers and bad reviews are from non Londoners or newbies expecting pies full of meat and creamy mash. That ain't pie and mash. It's such a shame our culinary heritage is being down graded by fools.

Este restaurante del desierto es excepcional. Cada postre que probé fue impresionante, desde el crumble de manzana hasta el gofre de cruasanes, bollo de canela, crep y masa de galletas. Aunque los nombres de los postres pueden no ser exactos, obtendrá la esencia de lo que son cuando visite. Los sabores eran simplemente deliciosos. El interior estaba bien diseñado, con asientos cómodos y gran iluminación. Sin embargo, sentí que el tiempo de espera era bastante largo, y parecía que el personal estaba trabajando muy duro, con solo otra persona en el taller. Los baños eran absolutamente repugnantes, lo que fue una gran desventaja para mí.

Very expensive for what you get. £18 for a very small burger. And they don't take cash, but you don't find this out until you go to pay. (Waiter doesn't mention it when order taken). Very annoying and discriminatory. It's a pub in Tooting, not a Restaurant in the City FFS. Landlords need to address this.

Fantastic pret - plenty of seating as being in such a busy major London hospital this pret is always super busy with staff and visitors. Enjoyed a drink here, did have to wipe the table down as crumbs and milk all over it and no where else to sit but otherwise no problems. Only criticism is it’s a bit tricky to find not very well sign posted through the hospital feels like it’s the best kept secret at St George’s.

I have probably came here 8/10 times and I will keep on coming. The food is great. The atmosphere is chilled. The staff is lovely. Thanks

Back in the day the portion size was a lot bigger especially the paper dosa. Quality of the food has dropped a little to be honest but it still tastes nice.

I stumbled upon this pub on a main road good choice of food, we'll prepared and decent portions. Friendly staff. I'd like to return, good choice of meals 👍🏾

We got a take away for the family and the food was just as delicious at home as it is in the restaurant. The amazing flavours never cease to please and the restaurant threw in a couple of extra samosas to try. A firm favourite is the mixed grill! The best grill I’ve had outside of Pakistan. I cannot recommend Khas enough!

Rubbery non crispy battered sausage, the curry sauce was the most watery curry sauce I've come across, homemade fishcake was bland, barely any fish inside and bizzaly coated in batter and not breadcrumbs (yes, no breadcrumbs but batter), the pastry on the home pie was atrocious and the chips were dryerest I've ever come across. Worst weekly takeaway treat I've had, loads of food wasted and a complete waste of money. Never will I return and I certainly do not recommend it.

We hired the upstairs room for a small function. Perfect space with formal and casual seating options, fantastic service and excellent food and drinks. Thank you for making my Grandad’s memorial so special ❤️

I really like this place, staff are respectable and have manners, food always served with a smile. I prefer dining here compared to the other places in 'Too Trendy Tooting'. Coffee Max offers not just food but it also offers a place for calmness where you can talk to your dining companion and be heard. May they have a blessed and prosperous future with longevity 🙏🏿 🤲🏾 🙏🏿

Never been here before.. Food gorgeous. Had paratha, Prawn biryani, Kebabs and freshly made tea. Travelled from west London. Well worth the journey. Asad was really good getting our order and generally really helpful. Thank you. I will be back.

Comida sencilla y deliciosa. Nuestra primera vez aquí y tuvimos cordero al curry y arroz, palak paneer y mantequilla naan. (Buenas opciones vegetarianas). Una ensalada pequeña y dos masala chai. Todo muy delicioso. Había muchas opciones a pesar de que era tarde para el almuerzo y el tiempo frío miserable. Personal muy amable y acogedor también.

Came across this location by accident but was really surprised and happy that we did. I’m not a vegetarian, but the food was delicious and the host was super friendly. Well worth a visit.
