The best restaurants serving Default food in Wood Street Waltham Forest London

Checked out venue itself but time didn't allow for a sit-in dining experience, yet, so had order delivered. Arrived hot and tasty, and even well presented. Will 100% be ordering again, and fully recommend. Edit, eat in experience is super impressive. Massive menu knowledge and advice from the owner. Recommended highly.

I'd passed this place on numerous occasions, as it's not that far from where I live and I sometimes have reason to visit Wood Street, so I thought I'd give it a try one time when I fancied a bag of chips. Let's just say that the chips were of fairly average quality, and the portion was pretty stingy for the price! I had a quick look at the pre-cooked fish, and they also looked to be on the small side. I knew there was a good reason that we get our fish and chips delivered from Highland Fish Bar instead...

Lovely staff and lovely food, only drawback is they don't do proper sausages. I go regularly and will continue to do so..

It’s not professional when you go to order dinner twice you get information that there is no rice.!!! Everything about this place is below par. One employee in particular. Very brave and tries to approach you. I will never go back there again.!

I've been here a couple of times before and everything was great, but not so today. I ordered a Cappuccino and the Three Cheese Toastie. The coffee was great, but the toastie took ages to arrive (despite the cafe being almost empty), and when it did arrive it was burnt to the point of being virtually inedible. Surely a chef / cook can't have made that, looked at it and thought "yep, I think I'll serve that". I'd travelled a fair distance especially to visit Dudley's, but I won't be going back.

Was extremely disappointed with the food…was expecting high quality meats, however the name “Jungle Brai” is very misleading with the concept of food from South Africa…I was expecting juicy meats which have been marinated overnight to extend the taste and pleasure of the food…all the chefs do is cook the meats on a grill and throw a load of their ketchupiiii sauces over the prawns, chicken and chops…very bad experience unfortunately…..sorry guys!!!!!

great place the staff are true professionals in their field. friendly atmosphere for watching football. DJs on Friday. the food is incredible! delicious chicken thighs in barbecue sauce and juicy burgers, a selection of salads and snacks

Visited with a group of friends for lunch to celebrate a birthday. A fabulous experience from start to finish! We shared the octopus and prawn linguine. Both delicious. Tasted the calamari. It was divine. Other friend’s food looked amazing too. The wine was superb and service excellent. Will definitely be back now that we have discovered this gem!!!

After waiting over a hour & a half, two phone calls the food came!!! Original order oxtail hard food/steam veg-curry rice & peas, honey roasted lamb and rice & peas x2 a portion served in a sauce pot coleslaw… what we go got- oxtail white rice( I specifically said I do not want white rice do not eat white rice) Callao no steam veg… curry white rice… honey roast lamb white rice x 2 one order had two chops & a bone!!!!… Liberty phucking Liberty… £50 later and I’m still hungry and now mad cause you took my money & order & didn’t feel that it was necessary to inform me that you’d sold my food and not obligated the online order….if you were professional you would have honoured the order made prior to your sales….or better still cooked enough food to accommodate what you claimed you could supply.. I will never order from you or refer your poor service

This is no longer an Indian "Turkish" restaurant. It is renamed Aras, run by professional chefs, and serves the best kabobs.
