We picked Arte e Pasta for a post-ceremony lunch on the day of our wedding and we could not have been happier. We were allowed to come in the evening beforehand and set up the table with a seating plan and decorations. Victor and team prepared a delicious five-course feasting menu with plentiful food (the ragu was a real favourite, but there were plenty of options for the two vegetarian guests too). We received lots of compliments on our choice of venue. We would especially like to thank Sophie, who went above and beyond with service and kept the whole lunch running smoothly. I only wish my husband and I didn't have to rush off to the next venue, so we could have tried dessert! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a venue for a big celebration.

Visited with a group of friends for lunch to celebrate a birthday. A fabulous experience from start to finish! We shared the octopus and prawn linguine. Both delicious. Tasted the calamari. It was divine. Other friend’s food looked amazing too. The wine was superb and service excellent. Will definitely be back now that we have discovered this gem!!!

Came for lunch, home made focaccia was incredible, meatballs delicious and you have to try the bombetta. Really quirky place. Super friendly staff.

We were warned by friends not to go but being so local we thought we had to try. We were really dissapointed, service was very poor, food was very poor and lacked flavour. Such a shame as could be a good spot.

Maria was a great host and the food was fresh. Lovely Margaritas and classic moretti on tap. Meatballs were flavoursome and our mains of prawn linguine were fresh and tasty.

Had the best time celebrating my birthday at Art e Pasta in Walthamstow with my husband and little one! It was such a lovely experience from start to finish. The service was fantastic - our food arrived quickly, and our waitress was so friendly with our toddler. Plus, we scored a sweet 50% off deal by booking through theFork.com, which made the night even better. Being locals, we were thrilled to be able to eat at a great spot so close to home. The manager was super cool and even chatted with us about our travels and the restaurant's new management while clearing our plates. The portion sizes were huge, and the food was delicious. Our little guy even tried and loved the king prawns! And believe it or not, my meat-loving husband was raving about his pasta dish and starters. All in all, Art e Pasta totally won us over with its awesome service, yummy food, and cozy vibes. We'll definitely be telling our friends about it and can't wait to go back for more good times and good eats!

Place looks nice with art but the food is all so low level. Owners don't know what they're doing, conning local businesses before they go off to Dubai.

Went a couple of years ago and thought it was decent but on my recent visit it had gone downhill. Way too expensive for tiny plates of lukewarm food, didn't like the focaccia or either of the pasta dishes. Didn't bother with dessert or coffee as it had taken quite a while so was already late

Best restaurant in the area. Tried three pastas, spinach & ricotta ravioli, seafood pasta and meat Raghu and each one superb. Worth noting that negative reviews are from serial negative reviewers who apparently don’t like restaurants. The food and service are superb.

THE WORST! Avoid. Super expensive for Walthamstow. Super expensive for the quality of the food and size of portions. Rude staff who was in a fowl mood which made the whole dining experience extremely unpleasant. Beer was warm and when complained I was told that was how its served. Never again.

Not a good experience for a meal! Slow and ponderous service, can’t say I’d recommend it. Drinks weren’t good either. And got to say everything was over priced too!

Excellent meal! Each dish was so good but particular highlights were the Nduja ravioli and the Steak. Attentive, friendly service and good ambience. Yes it’s more expensive than some Italians but so worth it and would recommend to everyone. Only issue was tips had to be in cash and we had none! You deserve tips!

Was excited to try this restaurant, recommended by a friend but think it has gone downhill. Booked way ahead, when arrived there were large tables available for 4 people, but we were directed to a table next to the toilets and squashed in next to the radiator and 2 tables hurriedly pushed together. No one else appeared in the restaurant at the nicer more spacious tables. We ordered starters to share, the focaccia bread was poor, not chunky and fluffy but thin slices of an olive oil bread, not generous portion. The same bread with the artichoke dip was un toasted and a bit soggy, dip was tasty. Although the menu was explained to us they failed to tell us one of the starters was no longer available (a mozzarella dish). Ordered the aubergine salad instead which came missing without the Gorgonzola so had to be returned, tasty when we did get it. For Mains we ordered the monkfish, lovely but not worth the eye watering £45, and a veggie pasta dish which was a slimy mess, for somewhere called arte e pasta I don't understand how the pasta was that bad. Side salads all good. Dessert was delicious - choc brownie. Service was ok, but they seemed pretty unbothered, and unhappy to be there. Overall not worth the £30 a head for food when we all left pretty hungry, only had a good time because of the great wine!

Bad experience here. Food average but overpriced and felt pressured into ordering in a specific and rigid order. Inflexible as to how we would have preferred to order. Felt pushed into buying specific wines vastly overpriced. Not the safest area later at night and make sure not walking. Get a cab.

We happened on this restaurant whilst visiting God’s own junkyard. The waiter suggested we have nibbles, antipasto , prima etc.. and share. For nibbles we had the focaccia with rosemary. It was just ordinary olive oil bread with some rock salt on the crust. We have just been in Italy and had focaccia nearly every day so we know what the taste and texture should be. The antipasti course was good with tender stem broccoli in an almond sauce and a squid. dish. The pasta course was also good. One plate of pasta was enough for 2 after the previous courses. The real letdown was the courgette fries. A mountain of grease. The courgettes were very thinly sliced and coated in batter which sucked in the oil. This might be ok if shared with 4 people but far too much for 2 people. The service was good but there are no condiments on the table.

A clever menu with sharing plates. by keeping the menu small you benefit from lovely fresh ingredients and the opportunity to stretch your palate with new tastes. The art for sale displayed on the walls adds a different aspect to a simple decor motif which does not detract from the primary role of offering delicious food and an excellent selection of small batch wines from some great small producers in Italy. The oak aged Negroni is a wonderful way to start your culinary experience. Perhaps a bottle or two of Fernet Branca behind the bar would be nice as an alternative?

I have been here several times, initially is was truly wonderful and accommodated vegan/GF options. Today I was very disappointed, the staff are nice, the manager took my comments seriously but to disenfranchise people on special diets is not acceptable in my book especially as they did before. I did not have to pay for my meal, (manager took it off the bill) some of it was over salted ( the salad) and some over vinegared ( beetroot starter) . There are no deserts for vegans or GF people. I will not return as I can get food which I can eat in other venues. They do need to up their game if they want people like me to dine there.

Was looking forward to trying this Resturant, but was very disappointed. The menu is limited And very expensive. Portions are small. They say sharing but there’s just not enough food to share to be honest. Just too overpriced It’s Walthamstow at the end of the day ! Also putting a service charge on the menu is not good Definitely wouldn’t go back or recommend sorry !

A menu very much geared for sharing plates but that worked really well for us, though we did find the courses were coming faster than we were finishing the previous one - that should have been managed better. However, from friendly arrival to being seated, discussions with our waitress over which wine to have and being given tasting samples, through the quality of food, it was a good experience. Only one other small gripe, only having one individual toilet for gents in a busy restaurant wasn’t really adequate.

This restaurant is ridiculous. I ordered 2 meals and a starter. It came with no Parmesan cheese nor was the order correct. I asked to speak to a manager, the woman said i'm the owner and you're no longer welcome. £500+ was sent there on my son's birthday & his friend just had his at this restaurant. Don't go here!
