The best restaurants serving Default food in Oval Lambeth London

Pret CS department; why are you leaving this pret to fail miserably. Awful rude staff and even worse coffee. Ask for a drink extra hot = Luke warm. Ask for a coffee as normal = Cold. Tasteless, bland. Sometimes bitter. Given this store is so bad maybe this is a reflection on the standard of management there. An area manager really needs to visit and get a grip. Us poor customers whom are used to a decent Pret are having to pay for a very sub standard product. I hope you improve things here.

The quality of the food is outstanding and you have a menu including Italian, Iranian and Mediterranean. I have tried several dishes including the kobedah kebab, pastas, burgers etc all great ingredients. The staff are super friendly and always patient. I highly recommend this restaurant.

To be precise a 9 out 10. Edit: just had a meal and I have changed the rating from 4 to 5. Well done. I appreciate the fact that you guys use high quality king prawn many restaurants don't. Free papadoms and a mango kulfi shows the owner is a real boss. He or she wants to look after it's customers. Well done for the 5 star rating.

Good! Good portions, there are choices. No tables inside, benches and tables outside.

Brazilians honoring the flag, with impeccable cuisine, excellent service, with generous meals from £12, I recommend it 100%, tip if you are staying at a hotel close to the restaurant, as it is worth having lunch at Tia Maria every day.

A group of my friends that hadn't seen each other in 30 years and I went for a catch up/ brunch today. The starters lunch and the rum punch were out of this world. Our server the lovley Rochelle is such a lovely young lady, her helpfulness and beautiful nature outshone as she served us. I will say to the manager Rochelle is a credit to your establishment and she makes the experience at your restaurant an enjoyable one. Whenever we can find monk fish on a menu it’s a bonus. Meal was served on a hanging kebab with grilled veg and prawns. Plenty to share and order with small starters. Felt like being back in Porto.

We enjoyed an early lunch at a shady pavement table at this small cafe in Little Portugal. Service was prompt and very friendly. The menu seemed comprehensive and authentic, so we chose espada - a Medeiran specialty of black scabbard fish with banana and maize. It was delicious and very good value. Nice choice of beers too. Recommended!

We held our business meeting and drinks reception with buffet at The Pilgrim for the second time and once again, they did not disappoint. Very helpful and professional staff with a special mention to Nuno, Susana and Jai who made the whole experience from the enquiry stage throughout to the payment process at the end of the event seamless and enjoyable. I would not hesitate to use this venue again for personal or business purposes.
