A lovely little cafe with an interesting interior depicting the Great Flood of 1953 amongst other things, which makes it even more worth visiting..

We had lunch then could keep the car in the car park whilst we walked to Horsey Gap to see the seals about 2 miles round trip very enjoyable

Very welcoming local boozer. Open their arms to all their guests and super attentive. Great Guiness and selection of Gins. Gets more points for being super dog friendly

Beautiful setting both indoors and out. Would have preferred table service, queue was long, and I always find a queue like that makes the vibe less relaxed when you are seated too as you want to avoid sitting near the queue, plus it doesn't help having order numbers shouted out so they can find you when the order is ready. For such a pretty venue, a change to the service would make a big difference. Lunch was pretty good, thick carved ham in the sandwich, and a hearty spinach pie with salad. Cakes were mostly gone by the time we got there (around 2) - we had the chocolate oaty which I wouldn't recommend - was dry and crumbly with not much flavour. Overall, I wouldn't return, but would consider giving another go if they changed from the queueing and shouting system.

Nice polite Staff and good tasting drink, Now called the Lifeboat inn,Under new management, Restaurant not yet open due to refurbishment.

Excellent customer service from all staff. We booked the function room for my daughters 18th, the room was perfect with a great atmosphere. Bar staff where brilliant. Drinks where reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend

Lovely little pub with generous portions of food and welcoming staff.

Unfortunately today this cafe was poor. Lack of staff and food availability hindered the whole experience. Lots of people just turning away due to que and lack of service. Coffee was just about warm. Had a bacon sandwich which came out on white bread and sent back as granary was asked for. 1 slice of overcooked bacon in the sandwich. So poor. Normally this is a place of good nature that I go to 5-6 times a year. Poor today.

Visited on a walk into stalham. The bar maid was lovely and friendly , good range of drinks and a very quaint feel to the pub. Good value for money and a good hearty food offering.

Great quality and great service. Lovely batter on the really good quality fish. We also had a pickled egg making this a great evening meal.

Fresh and delicious fish and chips. Staff are lovely
