The best restaurants serving Default food in Gorleston Great Yarmouth East of England

i stopped here with my friend for somethink to eat and a cup of tea with our 2 dogs we sat out side in the afternoon sun and enjoyed a great cup of tea and some super food we were made very welcome and enjoyed a rest and chat with the lady that served us would recommend to anyone visiting great yarmouth

Great atmosphere with a good selection of food and drink. kiosk Keith is a great host who always make sure your glass is never empty and openly encourages you to drink more 😂🍺🥃

Hay un restaurante que se llama "Lisboa" en Great Yarmouth. Sirve comida portuguesa, principalmente a los oradores portugueses a juzgar por nuestra visita de mediodía. Éramos los únicos no hablar en portugués. Miré en lo que la familia estaban comiendo y les preguntamos si podíamos tienen las mismas. Nuestro camarero era unflappable, así que eso fue lo que nos dieron, grandes platos de judías verdes en una salsa roja con trozos de chourico. Todo fue bien con una botella de Borba, un animado, rojo profundo de la región de Alentejo. Es una comida abundante que cae en la categoría de comida de confort. que me había olvidado que los portugueses comer grandes y yo tuvimos una "dosis" y realmente debería haber tenido una "dosis Meia". Fantastic ice cream Scoop ice cream is to die for. Whippy ice cream vanilla and flavoured. Reasonably priced Open nearly all year round weather permitting which is a big plus Lovely staff, what more could you ask for

Visited this place for lunch on a recent visit to Gorleston, after a family member said she remembered visiting this cafe years ago for afternoon tea and it being really good. I had a sausage pasty, a coffee and a bit of cake. The pasty was lovely, tasted home made, with lots of flavour. The coffee wasn't amazing (but I'm fussy when it comes to coffee) and the cake was a little dry. My family member though said that their cake was lovely. This is a nice spot for lunch, on a quiet road with lots of character. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I would visit again.

No reviews since 2022. I wonder why? Different ownership? Went for a coffee before visiting sealife centre. Well I thought I was speaking a foreign language. Asked for an Americano with Some cold milk when one of the kids serving had to ask how to make it!!!! Eventually was asked was it a black coffee I wanted!!! Also ordered a Latte… well it had hardly any milk in it. Coffee was tasteless and looked like dirty dish water in the glass mug…. A complete waste of £6 When I took them back to complain and said what was wrong the young lad just said ‘Bye’ I hope others read this. Maybe it was the coffee machine but these young lads working in there could not have cared about a customer complaint

Very expensive. Very poor quality. We had visited here based on other Google Reviews but hadn’t read the lower rated ones. Visiting from London and was looking forward to good fish and chips while visiting the coast. Decided to stop here on the way back to our accommodation. Extremely disappointed. The chips are cooked in beef tripping so they have a different taint. The fish was over battered, hardly any fish inside and over cooked. Such a disappointment for the price.

Nit quite what I expected and advertised the food and service was good but a pub / club cafe atmosphere I expected a quiet meal but the wedding music could ge heard all through the restaurants I probably would only resist for a lunch or drink when in the area

First time visit here,thank you to the pleasant and friendly staff, ordered jumbo battered sausage, spam fritter, chips, curry sauce, well priced in comparison with other chippys in the area (5 mile’s radius) Everything was cooked fresh and tasted great, I don’t believe some of the previous reviews I’ll be back

Lovely Christmas lunch here with the Blundeston WI

Went to a 90s themed bottomless brunch yesterday. Very impressed with the lunch dish I chose (cheese burger and curly fries) and the cocktails were lovely and freshly made .

George looked after us in fine style. Very nice food, good house wine. Beautiful building. You need a pass, very easy to get with any photo I'd. Very much worth it. Reasonable prices too. Must try this restaurant.

Amazing fish and chips. Hot freshly cooked. Beautiful large pieces of fish and lovely crispy batter. Chips were excellent too. Great friendly service too. Was my 1st visit but I will return as often as possible. Many thanks Marina Bay

It’s absolutely our go-to Chinese takeaway and has been for many years. Superb service always. In a one word: faultless
