The best restaurants serving Default food in Cambridge East of England

Delicious vegetarian Indian dinner. Fresh ingredients in every dish. We loved the crunchy cauliflower entree & the vegetarian butter chicken. Kingfisher beer on draught is a bonus. Margavi looked after us very well. The place is full most nights, unsurprisingly. Highly recommend.

We wanted somewhere close to the station to have dinner with friends over from London. Really impressed- staff welcoming and friendly. The menu had a good variety and we were spoiled for choice. Food was delicious and we will definitely return. Decor lovely, modern and spacious.

So glad we finally made it to Restaurant 22. We weren’t disappointed. The tasting menu and signature wines were wonderful and the team were brilliant.

We travelled to Cambridge and my young son was extremely keen to try Africfood given the reviews. What a terrible experience. For £7.50 you get one piece of goat ' meat' ( bone surrounded by a minuscule amount of meat) with a lot of rice. He was extremely disappointed and I was kind of furious. This is really a bit of a scam. In a market with lots of amazing food stalls, why would anyone spend their money here for a ridiculous amount of goat curry.

Very glad we chose the Seven Stars for a meal. Delicious food and a warm welcome. Got to be the best Aloo Channa (chickpea and potato) curry I've had. Highly recommended.

when we go into Cambridge we always call in to Shelly and Sarah's for a lovely Bacon roll and a mug of tea. we even take our grandchildren there as they love the food and drinks. The prices are very good and reasonable and nothing is to much trouble for them.

Very friendly attentive staff. Amazing food freshly prepared and full of flavour. Good value for money. Will be back to try more of the menu.

Fantastic spot! Incredible people, lovely food and drinks. It’s busy, but will get quieter over summer after the student exodus, so highly recommend coming July/August

Great pistachio cornetto however the pistachio tiramisu was my personal favourite and recommended by the staff who wore the kindest most welcoming smile! Thank you.

A fascinating exhibition of new work by Cambridge born, London based artist Ian Rawlinson. The exhibition runs from 5th October - 1st November 2024 at the Edge Café. The preview takes place on Saturday 5th October from 6.30 - 8.00pm. REFRACTOR is an exploration of collective memory as seen through East Anglia's military past. Prints and collages are inspired by connections to places and structures in North West Norfolk. Rawlinson adds intrusions and abstractions to the images, drawing out the notion that these places are portals where different timelines meet. The EDGE CAFÉ is open Mon - Sat 09.00 -16.00

Ordered burger and chips money well spent. Cooked it fresh in front of me not long waiting and the man himself serving the food was a treat.

We often stop here for a hot dog and only want a quick snack when we visit Cambridge. Consistently reliable and tasty. (If you walk along Market Street from the market, however, beware of the dangerous state of the footpath that the council never bother to repair).

Great tent space outdoors - perfect if you have little kids that would struggle in a small indoor space. Delicious pizza and beers.
