We planned our son's first birthday party here with around 40 guests attending. The venue was ok however during the planning we had informed the venue that our son was dairy free due to a severe allergy. As the venue does not allow outside catering we had spoken to Rendezvous a number of times on the phone and via email stating that a section of the buffet must be dairy free for our son and a couple of other children that were attending. When the buffet was opened we were told that the venue had "forgotten" to provide any dairy free options. Leaving the birthday boy and other guests with no lunch. Our family members had to leave the party to go and find some dairy free food at a local supermarket. This was clearly not what we wanted for our son's first birthday party. Very disappointed

Have eaten chips from here before and they are very nice. Last night I tried a large mixed donner with salad. The portion size was very small. And the salad was literally the smallest portion I’ve ever seen ! Donner meat was nice but the chicken wasn’t. Can’t comment on salad because there wasn’t enough of it !! Will not return as eaten far better kebabs and the portion size was not worth the price tag

We booked for Mothers Day about a month ago stating that we required a table with space for a wheelchair & also had someone coming with a gluten allergy so we required a ngci menu. On arrival we were greeted at the reception point by Olivia who took our name & once she found out details asked if we had any other allergies other than the gluten one which we replied no to but immediately ticked a box😊 Once we'd got my dad's wheelchair in position on our table which was a lovely one by a window, we placed our drinks order with Olivia & started to paroose the menu while we waited. When the drinks arrived, all was good except mine which had been poured as a straight lager instead of a lager shandy. I took it to the bar who immediately changed it to a shandy without issue👍 We then placed our food orders again with Olivia which were 3 roast beef Sunday lunches & a Gluten free naked cheese burger & fries. After what seemed to be 10-15 minutes, our meals arrived. The food was both delicious & of ample quantity. After our mains which were reasonably quickly cleared by Olivia, my partner & I decided to order a gluten free apple crumble & custard plus a chocolate & mint tart. When they arrived, they were very tasty. We then asked for the bill, paid & left but before ending the review, I'd like to mention how helpful, pleasant & hardworking Olivia was throughout our meal. She's definitely an asset to the staff at the Milestone 👍👍

Great food, speedy service. But also very kind and compassionate people. Thank you for the water. Would most certainly recommend 10/10

(Short version) No fault of the waiting staff, but a huge disappointment at the lack of 'Sunday Dinners' and being told that we were not able to use an in date voucher due to the 'till not accepting them'. Not told that some elements of the dishes that were served up were not available. All-round really poor dining experience. (Long version) Booked in advance for 5.45pm. arrived, waited a little while to be seated as staff seemed busy serving seated customers. After being shown to our table we were immediately told there were 'only 2 Turkey dinners left'. No problem, I thought, there's beef and chicken on the menu as well, and as my daughter was keen to have turkey at least she's sorted. When we came to order, I had misunderstood - only 2 turkey dinners left meant only 2 Roast dinners left!! Really?? We've booked for a Sunday, you have the Sunday menu out on the tables and we can't all have a Sunday roast??? Poor show Marstons. Then, when we come to settle the bill we are told a voucher that is in date cannot be used as the 'till won't accept it'. No point giving grief to the waiting staff (who seemed to be working really hard - and likely short staffed), so this is my complaint to you, to which I would appreciate a response and offer of how you intend to rectify our less than satisfactory experience.

Our local chippie and come back here whenever we want fish and chips! Have tried other ‘best in the area/town’ fish and chip shops and we still prefer Tudor Road. Lovely gentle polite staff. Support your local chippie!

Hash brown missing from order. Double sausage and egg only had 1 sausage. We already check that the order has the correct amount of food, I didn’t know we also had to unwrap each burger to make sure that was correct too 🤦🏼♀️
