Lovely place for a nice meal and a drink, would definitely recommend the pizzas and the burgers as they’re both delicious also mention to the waiting staff and especially Alanna for being so tentative and accommodating our needs. Definitely will be returning again soon when we’re in the area

Popped in for an impromptu drink and ended up having a meal. The food was good and delivered in good time and hot. Our waitress, Alanna, was very attentive. We will visit again.

Usually a really good pitstop for dinner however I’d avoid the Sunday roast…. What a poor effort. Roast potatoes that were either burnt or undercooked and not even whole potatoes but pieces of potato, insipid gravy (thickened brown water with no taste), lucky if I got a tablespoon of mash, rubberised Yorkshire puddings, seasonal veg ( 2 small pieces of very aldente broccoli, large spoon of peas as hard as bullets to give illusion of a full plate, spoonful of red cabbage), extra side of roast potatoes ? Pffft think we were lucky to get 1 potato, again it was cut into pieces Ever so disappointing…..

Lovely food, a classic Marston's with a lovely atmosphere. A strangely large number of doors around the place. Love the upstairs bit, the bar is nice and the food was splendid. Wings were amazing, burgers, amazing, chips, perfect. Really nice evening meal to look forward to. Will be back 😊😊😊😊😊 Table 30 is a bit wobbly btw!

Chanelle was wonderful, the rest of the staff were very smiley, food was hot and very tasty!! Overall had a wonderful visit for my sons 7th birthday!

Had surf and turf unfortunately the steak was mainly gristle very disappointing . £3.50 for three slices of garlic bread stater! It was a hot day and waiter was new so I didn’t have the heart to complain he was more than helpful. I’ll go back but not for steak.

Came in to have drink and food with wife,restaurant side was very nice,bartender was very moody,seemed she did not like her job and it was annoying asking her for a drink,food tho was realy good

Food and service really food value for money

Despite being busy, the waitress quickly came over to the entrance and welcomed us to our table. I had requested a quiet table near a window and we got a good table by the rear door of the restaurant. The waitress took our drinks order and recommended we order fairly quickly as there was a table of 12 about to order. Our food arrived well cooked, well presented and hot. The waitress service was impeccable despite her being busy. Although I didn’t get her name she was a young woman with long dark hair in a black dress with black ankle style trainers and she should be recommended.

Unfortunately the meal took nearly an hour to come out and we had to keep asking staff where it was. When one of the three meals finally arrived the steak was over done and like leather. On the plus side, the young male duty manager was very professional and polite. He quickly sorted the steak issue and gave us a reduced bill and complimentary drink accordingly. The actual food was very good though and the manager recovered the situation very well indeed. Our thanks to him and his colleagues who did their best and we left with a very positive impression.

This is a nice place to visit with a pretty good menu choices. It's a no frills pub with food but I live local and I know what I am getting so it's more than a reliable place to visit. Our server Chanelle was absolutely brilliant on what can only be described as a manic evening. It was very busy but Chanelle kept her smile, professionalism and cool throughout. She was attentive and efficient which made our evening lovely so huge thanks to her.

I took my friend for lunch. Booked a table. We were shown to one right by an open door. Not one person was seated in that area so felt really isolated. We ordered a glass of wine and white coffee. The coffee came with hot milk. I said very politely I would like cold milk. The waitress gave me such a dirty look. I felt uncomfortable. We ordered lunch. My gammon was mostly fat and inedible. We asked for the bill. Well what a shock when it came. For a medium glass of house white wine it was £6.50. That extortionate. So we won't be going there again as 2 glasses if wine were more than the actual meal. Service was shocking as never seen a waitress as we were in this big area on our own

So after a poor experience five months ago I decided to try a meal at milestone again what a mistake. A lesson in food presentation and serving etiquette would not go a mis I understand it's not a five star Michelin listed eatery but to be treated like a fool is not acceptable. ...Statement.....Consider your options before committing. I don't give a third try you won't be seeing me again. If milestone wish to respond please do but if not at least consider the content.

Food was tasty (as always!) Service was really slow. Tried to order online instead (via the QR code on the menu), but this wouldn’t let me checkout with comments added to an item so we had to sit and wait for a member of staff to take our order. Food took about half an hour to come out, which seemed slower than usual.

The initial greeting was very pleasant and the table was ready at the appointed time. We were taken to our table and offered drinks and menus. Our drinks returned and we ordered food. Excellent meal, very fresh and a good portion. The member of staff who looked after us was brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. Most enjoyable, we will definitely return.

This was a birthday meal for my 82 year old mum, who has had a bad time with health issues. It was a fantastic night and absolutely lovely meal, the staff were so warming and the service was wonderful thank you for making this special for my mum.

Very friendly welcome, our waitress was very friendly. We all had a Sunday roast and it was AMAZING !! Carolyn behind the bar was wonderful! All staff we encountered were so lovely! Highly recommend this pub to anybody and we will most definitely return!

Menu is basic and the food is ok but not worth the prices. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Great service, good food and we didn't have to wait for very long. I was very impressed with all aspects of our unplanned visit. Although they were fairly busy they found us a table within minutes even though we hadn't booked a table. There was a decent, varied menu which should give something for everyone. Add drinks and a dessert and you will be completely sorted.

The Milestone is a pleasant dining experience, there is something for everyone on the menu and the food is well presented and very tasty. A big thumbs up from me and we look forward to visiting again very soon

Booked online, when we arrived for our booking at 8.15 we were told they’d closed the kitchen at 8pm so couldn’t be seated. Very disappointing

The food was good value for money. Good size portions. We ordered a Sunday dinner and added the extra for larger meal. We actually struggled eating it all as they huge portions any away. The service was impeccable, the waiting time for the meal was just right. We have no complaints only praise.

The menus were conspicuous by their absence, not on the tables like so many other places. Eventually found them at the end of the bar... However the staff were really friendly and the food was excellent!

We both had the hunters chicken I had jacket potato my partner had chips. It was lovely just too much for me. I asked if I could take it home for the cats the girl fetched me some foil for me to wrap it up. It was very good value . We will definitely come again in next few weeks. The pizza looked amazing we sat near where they were making them. I will probably try one next time we come

The server (unfortunately didn't get his name) went above and beyond to make our experience a good one. We had a party of 18 including children. The meals were cooked perfectly. We had an excellent evening.

We had an excellent meal, the roast dinner was great,vegetables were cooked to perfection and there was a good size meal. It was great value for money, The other choice of meals were also excellent and the pizza looked great. The staff were efficient and polite and service was very good. Used to use this place alot when Faye and Ken had it as it is local food was great couldn't fault it , they left the food and service went crap to be fare , never went back , however had a leaflet come through the door went down for tea couldn't fault it burger was great well cooked egg (no snot) ,chicken wings divine , wife had fish she said it was really good got served by Caz and Soph , great atmosphere , warm and welcoming , will definitely go back Think I spoke too soon , the wife went with her mum for lunch , the wife had fish that came out like a burnt offering with very little fish more batter than anything , and the mums was also poorly cooked You could say why didn't they complain well I my eyes the chef should know that the food going out is up to standard , really unfortunate as we had a couple of really good meals , don't think we will be going back

Wow what can I say. From start to finish we could not fault it. We were a table if 16 and it was a Birthday Party. Our waiter was lovely and very efficient, constantly asked us if we were all okay or needed any more drinks. As we were all separate families he was happy to split the bills for us by just taking a name. He told us what they had ran out of and apologised. Food was outstanding, all came together and was served piping hot. Drinks bought to our table very quickly too. Overall very impressed with our meal.

Drinks order taken before we sat down but took 15 mins to arrive. Food order taken straight away, took 45 mins. Very disappointing ordered steak light version but came with a salad garnish and teaspoon equivalent of quinoa. Not a good substitution, was expecting a portion if rice/quinoe, we complained and the waitress said it’s to do with the calorie count, salad has no calories! She bought another salad bowl out for my mum and it was double the quantity. Couldn’t complain again as no one came to clear the table or give the bill, been there lots of time but just very disappointed.

Amazing experience from the moment we walked through the door. A lovely young lady was so welcoming, and polite. She was so helpful and understanding when ordering the meals for our fussy children. The service was also perfect and a great atmosphere. We will be returning again soon. Thankyou

I had two disabled guests who have trouble with stairs. We were told our table was upstairs. I explained our situation, but although I could see empty tables downstairs, your waiter declined our request for a table there. After an unsteady climb we had a pretty poor meal.

Ideal place to have a meal on the way to the Concordia theatre as it's only five minutes away. The food and service was really good ,will definitely vist again

Menu has changed for the better, lots of choice and the food was tasty. Hadn't realised how popular the pub has become and the restaurant was all booked, but we luckily found a table in the bar. Also liked that you can order from your table...especially useful if you are just wanting a drink if the bar/till is busy. Service was good, no long waits and staff were pleasant. Will definitely be back.

The milestone hinckley: Couldn't get a table so went outside and booked one. Several people came in and were told the same so I mentioned it to a woman with 3 grown up boys. About 5 minutes later a member of staff came over to me and gave me me a lecture about I shouldn't have told the woman that, I felt like she was belittling me! Pity it wasn't explained to me properly from the start! We ordered 2 mixed grills, we were told there was no English mustard, I was asked if I wanted anything else which I didn't, I shared my husbands horseradish sauce, he had covered his steak with the sauce , I tasted it and it was tartar sauce so that had ruined my husbands steak 🤮 my gammon was very salty. All in all not a very good experience 👎No body had asked us how our meal was so didn't have chance to complain 🙃

Meals were ok. When my husband paid he used his card to pay the £112 bill, and then realised that he hadn’t used the 30% off voucher sent to my email. I was at the toilet at that time otherwise I would have reminded him. When we realised we asked for the card to be used to refund back the discount amount and we were told by card machine operator that we should have produced the voucher before paying. I was not reminded about the emailed voucher before paying. At the time I asked to speak to the manager and was asked to return to the table. By returning to the table when the manager came and refused to refund us this voucher offer it meant other diners were aware of my disappointment and it was embarrassing for me and my friends. A happy occasion was marred by the managers negative attitude and inflexibility. My husband and I felt ‘ripped off’. Two of our party were Marstons shareholders and they were upset by the uncompromising attitude. I agree that we were wrong in not remembering about the discount voucher but the way we were dealt with was appalling.

We arrived and it was busy, we waited along time for someone to even acknowledge us at the welcome desk. The food took nearly 45 minutes to arrive and we had to remind staff to check on our food. The food was fine. The young waiter and waitress who served us were very pleasant, apologetic and effective at delivering the food; we were given a set of free drinks to compensate which was a nice touch.

Food would have been of good enough standard but came out luke warm. Staff asked the right questions but didn't wait for an answer. Very nearly there for a good review but not quite.

Lovely atmosphere and staff. Sat in the bar as didn't want to sit in the middle of dining room. Food was excellent and used 30% discount for new user. I will happily pay full price for such a great meal for my birthday 🎂. 55th
