The best restaurants serving Default food in Brampton Daventry East Midlands

I wasn’t aware of CafeMonde before a friend suggested we meet up there for lunch. It’s hidden away down a little road and very rural and very pretty with great views and, if you love horses, you are in for a treat! It was a beautiful sunny day and we sat outside under the shade of a parasol. I was pleasantly surprised to see several vegan options on the menu and the food was well presented and appetising. I had the vegan hummus platter which was delicious. We all enjoyed our food. There was a good selection of drinks and some nice looking cakes (which we resisted!) Staff lovely and friendly and I will definitely return soon.

Just had an amazing Sunday lunch at the Saracens Head tender meat Yorkshire pudding plus five veg I had lamb my partner had beef I followed it by a liqueur coffee with brandy excellent will differently be returning the staff and atmosphere very nice

So cold no fire lit. Food terrible. Used this place for years. It is so sad to see it now. Needs a refurbishment and new ownership. Feel very sad a village pub is falling apart.

This venue is perfect for many occasions, but I met with Karli to discuss a booking for my mums funeral gathering. Karli and the other staff I met were all lovely. They could not have been more polite, helpful and genuinely accommodating. The room was partitioned to accommodate our smaller gathering but had the bar. It was completely private. They set it up perfectly and just as I had asked. We chose the hot food option as many of our family had travelled in on the day and it was superb homemade food. I had 4 vegetarians, 2 gluten free and 1 lactose intolerant and all their needs were met .Excellent value and good portions too. With tea and mini homemade cakes to follow it allowed us all to enjoy chatting and reminiscing about our mum with family & friends. Everyone who attended complemented the food, so thank you Lisa, head chef. I cannot rate this venue more highly or its staff, thank you all for making a difficult occasion go smoothly. Really nice garden centre with a cafe including soft play for under 8s. Perfect break on a long car journey.
