The best restaurants serving British food in Brampton Daventry East Midlands

I wasn’t aware of CafeMonde before a friend suggested we meet up there for lunch. It’s hidden away down a little road and very rural and very pretty with great views and, if you love horses, you are in for a treat! It was a beautiful sunny day and we sat outside under the shade of a parasol. I was pleasantly surprised to see several vegan options on the menu and the food was well presented and appetising. I had the vegan hummus platter which was delicious. We all enjoyed our food. There was a good selection of drinks and some nice looking cakes (which we resisted!) Staff lovely and friendly and I will definitely return soon.

Great atmosphere. Old English pub oak beams and roaring fire 🔥. Polite staff . Excellent food .

Had Sunday roast yesterday booked for 3.45 served at 4.30 told no beef left or creme brullee no alternative offered, take it or leave attitude good ok but will not go back

Nice country pub with a good menu. Kath made sure we had a fantastic time with great service. Everyone enjoyed their food. We’ll be back!

We had the most amazing festive afternoon tea here today. It definitely deserves a special mention as the homemade sandwiches, cakes and biscuits were fabulous and the attentive staff were outstanding. We will definitely recommend to our friends and family as a great find! ☆☆☆☆☆
