This venue is perfect for many occasions, but I met with Karli to discuss a booking for my mums funeral gathering. Karli and the other staff I met were all lovely. They could not have been more polite, helpful and genuinely accommodating. The room was partitioned to accommodate our smaller gathering but had the bar. It was completely private. They set it up perfectly and just as I had asked. We chose the hot food option as many of our family had travelled in on the day and it was superb homemade food. I had 4 vegetarians, 2 gluten free and 1 lactose intolerant and all their needs were met .Excellent value and good portions too. With tea and mini homemade cakes to follow it allowed us all to enjoy chatting and reminiscing about our mum with family & friends. Everyone who attended complemented the food, so thank you Lisa, head chef. I cannot rate this venue more highly or its staff, thank you all for making a difficult occasion go smoothly. Fancied a lunch time snack/meal so tried out the Spike Bar at BHGC. ‘9 hole all day breakfast’ was just enough and adequate for my requirements. Would recommend. Friendly staff and service.

My sister had her beautiful Summer wedding here, and the venue and staff couldn't have been better. The food was lovely, the venue was gorgeous and overall the day was brilliant. A massive thank you to all of the staff for making the day run so smoothly and seamlessly, we all had a wonderful day.

Saturday 13th august was my daughters wedding here at Brampton heath and I want to thank each and every member off staff who were amazing and made the day even more special, the venue and setting are superb and made for gorgeous photos for us to appreciate for ever and the food served was delicious. The only way to of made this better would of been air conditioning but we did have probably the hottest Saturday this year .

I was amazed to see two recent reviews which were so negative. I simply did not recognise the club from these comments. Our 4 ball found the course in excellent condition and a good challenge to anyone's golf, regardless of their handicap. We also found the staff extremely helpful and friendly. The post game nosh was more than acceptable. I would strongly recommend a visit.

The place is more a wasteland them a golf course it does not warrant one star. The staff are obnoxious the food they served was uneatable we complained and we were racially abusted by the owner Will Rice.

I have now been at the driving range twice and I must say the golf balls are a disgrace not only are they very old but the ball washer isn’t working so think twice before you go

After reading some of the poor reviews I was quite shocked and felt the need to add my own review. Me and some friends have recently really got into golf and played on a few golf courses before trying out Brampton Heath. Upon one visit we signed up for membership the next day! The course itself is absolutely stunning!! It’s maintained so well with some beautiful features. Greens & fairways were in great condition. The toilets and locker room are very clean and do not smell at all unlike some other clubs in Northampton. Every time we go we have a great time! The staff were really nice as were the members! All in all this place is easily a 5/5! I just can’t understand people leaving bad reviews especially when they decide to come here just for breakfast for example! I would highly recommend any golfer visiting Brampton Heath!

We organised my husband surprise 50th birthday party all the staff d.j and croupier did a fabulous job to ensure everyone had a good time. We decked the venue out it looked fantastic. We decided to have the party package as you get so much for your money. We decided to have a finger buffet which worked well for an evening do. Everyone had a fantastic night thank you BHGC you did an excellent job there are a lot of sore heads this morning but we all loved every moment.

We chose Brampton Heath for our wedding reception on 10th August 2019. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue! We had 100 guests for the day time and I can not tell you how many commented on how lovely the food was, how great the views were and how fantastic the staff are. Jess, the wedding co ordinator, is so so lovely and can not do enough to help you. She made our wedding stress free and she went above and beyond to answer any questions we had and help us to plan. She ensured everything on the day went smoothly and it really was the most perfect day thanks to her. The staff were all brilliant and so friendly. The balcony is great because we had around 160 evening guests and people just popped out for air and a sit down, so the room didn't feel too crowded. I would definitely recommend getting married here - the food was also amazing! Thank you to Jess and the team for making our day so perfect.

I cannot praise Brampton Heath as a wedding venue enough.superb location excellent staff fantastic food.My eldest daughter had her reception here 5 years ago.this August my other daughter had her reception here.many people commented it was the best wedding they had been to.this was all down to the staff facilities and the location.i have read comments about money stolen.i find the comments hard to believe

We went as a group and the girls had treatments and lunch while our other halves played golf. The guys loved the course and we all had a great time. The staff were great and the food was fabulous. We will definitely return.

I also attended the wedding in July were the Bride and Groom had money stolen. I find the General Managers responses to the reviews about the lack of food quite odd. It has been stated that this was rectified on the day. If the event was manged planned and properly by the staff, which included a 'Wedding Planner' there would have been no need for you to rectify it on the day. Why did you and your staff allow this to become an issue in the first place? Regarding the loss of money, my understanding is that when the alleged theft was reported, the General Manager did nothing other than say something along the lines of 'sorry, its your word against ours'. I don't wish to sound slanderous JoS3645, so please correct me if this is not true. One would have expected that following an accusation of theft against your staff, surely you would have launched a full investigation? After all, this money was allegedly stolen from a locked room that only your staff had access to? It would also have been reasonable to expect you to inform the police? I find it quite ironic therefore that you have stated that these poor reviews have been reported to the Police as slanderous. Really? Does that mean you care more about your reputation than a young couple, who's wedding day was ruined because they had money stolen whilst in a locked room on your premises? You deserve every bad review you get for not dealing with this matter in a professional way and I would warn others to consider these reviews before choosing Brampton Heath as a wedding venue.

Me and my now husband chose this venue as the setting is beautiful and costs were reasonable. We had just over 100 guests at our wedding which the venue claimed they could accommodate. This appeared to be far from reality. On the day during the ceremony the room was so crammed, it felt as though my guests were breathing down my neck. It was a warm day but the room was uncomfortably sticky as the have no aircon which is far from ideal when you have so many people in such a small space. If you do have momentary blip in your sanity and book this venue I would invite no more than 75 people maximum. Now on to the music. Before our special day I was asked to pick several songs for people to listen to whilst they waited for the ceremony to being. I was also asked for the song I wanted to walk down the aisle to, a song to sign the register to and a song for our exit... Here is what happened; NO music was played for my guests whilst they were waiting making the months of going through wedding instrumental music completely futile. They did manage to play one song at this section of the ceremony which was the song we had chosen to sign the register to. Even after having a full selection of music with clearly written instructions of what needed to be played and when!! They finally played the song signifying to my bridesmaid she needed to make her way to the top of the aisle. She began to walk to what was meant to be our song to walk down the aisle to and it was the WRONG SONG!!!! They then stopped the music when she was half way down the aisle and she continued her walk in complete silence. What an absolute disaster. By the time the found the right song everybody had looked through the gap and had seen me. My moment was completely destroyed by the venue and their defence was the the device playing the music was on shuffle. Then why not select the correct songs given that this was their sole responsibility at this time... On to the food... food was delicious and for the top table it was a satisfactory temperature. However, as I said we had just over 100 guests and guests from the 3rd table onwards (we had 11 tables) shared that their food was served cold. There clearly wasn't enough staff to get the food on tables in an efficient way ensuring that food was at least warm. Dinner and speeches was meant to be finished at 6pm. Evening guests were arriving at 7pm. At 6.30pm desserts were being served and no speeches had been done. I had to tell staff they were running behind and that speeches would need to start whilst people were eating; far from ideal. When I complained to the venue I was told they were taking no responsibility for any issues with the day as the device was on shuffle, they failed to respond to the rest of the issues. My wedding day and "moment" of walking down the aisle was completely destroyed. The music we had chosen was the music I gave birth to our twins to and so was very special to us. I don't even recall looking at my grooms face as I was so shocked with what a shambles the music had been. Please do not chose this venue, especially if you have a large guest list. The wedding organiser is a lovely girl but in practice the staff were just incompetent on our big day.

don,t be fooled by the lovely setting.their website states they can accommodate 150 but 75 would seem maximum.buffet food was underwhelming and sparse,not child friendly with stairs,resulting in fire escape being closed.looks like a nice golf course but probably not professional enough to cater for large family gatherings and functions.gents toilet had problems with urinals and not monitored during evening.

Very disappointing. Poorly organised by venue staff. Food very sparse and not particularly appetising. Disgraceful customer service when complaints were made about money being stolen from wedding cards left in a locked box at the venue. Spoilt a very special day.

My niece had her wedding here on Saturday 27th July.

This venue did not arrange enough food for the guests that were there. Then when asked for more food. There was only a little left. The no good staff at this venue then went on to steal the money out of guests cards to the couple out of a locked box that was left in the venue overnight.the manager was rude and unapologetic to my daughter and are not accepting any responsibility my daughter is heart broken and the police are not going to investigate either. Please do not use this venue as it is probably happening all the time

We held our wedding here last week and unfortunately lots of things went wrong. The wedding wasnt co-ordinated well at all, even though they have a wedding co-ordinator on your day. My groom almost saw me before the wedding as there was a miscommunication on the venues part about the registrars. The food was served and the staff did not co-ordinate which tables would go up... there was also not enough food served, meaning my sister had to complain to get more food made, as people hadnt eaten!Majorly though, DO NOT TRUST THIS VENUE TO LEAVE ANY BELONGINGS. We left our cards in a locked wishing well (venue had the keys) and when we collected them we came to realise that staff at the venue had been through our cards and helped themself to a vast amount of our wedding money gifted to us by our guests.we are heartbroken, and only wish that we can help other people not have to go through what we have had to.If you are thinking of getting married here, don't! If it is already booked, ensure you have an M.C (you'll need one as the staff dont help) and someone to take your belongings home with them to avoid being robbed on your wedding day like we were.

We spent 2 days here for a company meeting. From the outset our event co-ordinator, Jess, was a star. Always at hand and willing to resolve all requests made without any fuss. Lunch was excellent and the setting wonderful with views across the lake and golf course. Great value for money and we will be back.

Normally play golf on regular basis at this lovely golf course. However tried a quick lunch with a friend from outside. Good varieties of sandwiches and good service. Highly recommended

Come here as part of a society. The breakfast we had as part of the deal was very poor and cold. Golfing, fairways are dreadful and the only reason it got 2 stars is because the greens were in good condition

Using a 4 ball voucher won as a prize, booking, welcome and service from Pro Shop first class. Sensibly priced, freshly cooked breakfast rolls to set us up and a course that - for the month of February - played very nicely and I dare say every bit as good as its near neighbour the somewhat pretentious Northants County!

Had my Dads wake here as he liked to play golf here and the location and grounds are lovely. When booking the venue we were told that we had to use their caterers which we agreed to do so. We decided to only cater for 50 people as it was at 3.30pm and most people would have eaten before they arrived. At £10 per head we paid a total of £500 for the food. When the food came out all we got was a plate of sandwiches, a plate of sausage rolls, a plate of quiche and a plate of cake!! I contacted the events coordinator to explain how unsatisfied we were with the quantity of the food for the price of £500. Considering there were about 500 people at my dads wake they would have made an absolute fortune on drinks. All they were prepared to do was refund me £100. The food that was provided most definitely was not worth £500. I would not use this venue again and neither will a lot of my friends or family! Think twice before using this venue as the food is poor!!

I attended a 60th birthday party, I have had a few parties myself over the years and attended a few weddings, and have always been impressed with the venue, service and food. On this occasion I really thought the room upstairs was disorganised and run down. The toilets were flooded , floors not very clean and in all it needs a total refurb.It used to be lovely its such a shame, in such a nice setting, It was untidy in places and needed a good clean. I had thought about booking a party myself but now I have been put off and will look elsewhere .

Had a good day out on the course but disappointed that I wasn't told the greens would be spiked but other than that a lovely course

This place has two courses-18 hole standard par 4 , and a short course of 9 holes (par3). The courses are well laid. There is a roofed driving range for preplay practice. A nice, good for vaue restaurant is vailable all the time.

Attended a private Sunday lunch with our extended family. The room was just an empty room with a bar at one end. The food was possibly the worst Sunday lunch I have ever been served. It had clearly been kept heated (even though we sat down on time just after 12.30), and was so dry, rock hard potatoes, beef like leather. Apparently there was a wedding at the venue the day before, it made me wonder if our lunch had been kept from that function. The starters and deserts were tasteless. Coffee was help yourself from some flasks on a table. They informed us of a staff shortage and the waitress who was very nice tried her best. I felt very sad for my mum who organised and looked forward to this event and was so badly let down. I definitely would not recommend to anyone based on this experience.

This is a very friendly golf course in Northampton. The course is landscaped on an old quarry with a very effective subsoil drainage.

Course in great condition, staff very friendly, service and food good, facilities a little 'tired', but aren't we all 😉

Course fantastic, tee boxes so so, bunkers worst I have played in a long time, most had less than an inch of sand, needs work

Visited Brampton Heath Golf centre on Sunday 5th Feb to play in a footgolf pairs competition. Found the course excellent and very testing and the clubhouse was lovely offering freshly cooked food. Would definitely visit again

Jess la coordinadora en Brampton era increíble, nada era demasiado problema y ella estaba muy bien informada, con contactos dentro de la boda de comercio. Jess y todo el personal era excepcional e incluso para mí tener un plato diferente de nuestros huéspedes. El día era perfecto en todos los sentidos y no dudaríamos en recomendar un hermoso lugar bien de precio y es fantástico.

Había reservado mi boda aquí, como había sido anteriormente a una fiesta en el lugar y el recordado lo bonito que parecía en side.

Popped in here on the way to a friends party for a light bite and cheeky drink. Food arrived quickly, presented well and extremely tasty. My drink was as would expect.

Fantastic Wedding day, and outstanding value for money

My husband and I held our wedding ceremony and reception here on the 23rd July 2016 and I cannot praise the staff and venue enough! Jess and Karen did a wonderful job of setting the room up and looked after us so perfectly leading up to and on our special day. I knew I wanted to get married here from the moment we got engaged but we looked at other venues for comparisons and none came close for the amenities, setting and price. They offer incredible value for money and certainly don't cut corners on quality. The wedding breakfast food was fantastic as was the evening buffet and the choice of food was great.The staff on the day were absolutely brilliant and the food and venue perfect. So many of our guests were very complimentary about everything and the fact the weather allowed us to make full use of the balcony terrace right up to the end of the night was just the icing on the cake. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff and venue and we are so grateful for the happy memories they helped to create of our special day.

We booked the Platinum package for our wedding and reception on 21st August 2016. Jess and the rest of the staff literally couldn't do enough for us and Dan (the chef) even went above and beyond in staying late the night before to help my sister fix our wedding cake which had fallen apart in transit. The venue was beautifully decorate, the food was amazing and everyone was friendly, helpful and fun. The DJ deserves a special mention for managing an inpromtu Bhangra music set at short notice on request from some of our guests. We had an amazing day and evening and would recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding. Especially given the value for money that you get - this can't be beaten!

A warm sunny day allowed all the guests to make full use of the reception room and the adjoining very large balcony overlooking the glorious golf course. Very attentive staff served good food and the drinks at the bar were reasonably priced.The room had a dance floor for the evening reception so everything contained in one great space.

Went here to attend a wedding. A great venue with a very large balcony overlooking the golf course ideal for an drink on a warm evening.

Wasn't playing today (but it's a lovely course to play) but joined colleagues for light bites when they finished. Had pot of Tea for Two (£1:75) Ham & Cheese Toastie & Home Cooked Ham Sandwich under £4 ea and decent sized portion of chips for £1. All came out in timely fashion and were not a rip off (as some Golf Clubs are!). We sat on the terrace in blazing October Sunshine watching the often comic finishes of both the 9th & 18th Hole. Have paid more for less at Pubs.

I visited Brampton Heath on Saturday 5th September with a friend of mine for breakfast. Having been here before I expected a high quality service as was previously provided. However, this time the bar staff were extremely rude and did not make me feel welcome at all. The language heard by the staff was shocking and was not hard to here from sat in the bar. Matters got even worse when my food arrived, the food was both cold and unappealing, the beans were cold, the bacon was like leather and the sausages were undercooked, cold and red in the middle. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone else and will not be visiting again. Shocking.

If the food I was served had been anywhere other than a wedding reception, I would have returned it all and refused to pay. Apart from a mediocre desert and a bread roll, the rest was absolutely inedible. The soup was awful, the main course consisted of grossly overcooked chicken breast, raw vegetables and ghastly roast potatoes. I would most certainly not recommend this venue to anyone.

A fantastic addition to this golf centre, i went there are a group of 5 s a birthday celebration and was stunned by the amount of fun that we had. Such a fantastic sport that should be known world wide more, amazing afternoon out

A very well kept course, which is now maturing nicely after around 15 yrs. New addition of a pond backing onto the 9th and 18th greens, making nice clubhouse holes.Welcoming staff and relaxed atmosphere makes this a great way to unwind with friends looking limit over Northampton

We are not golfers but we do like to visit and enjoy sitting outside and having a lager and sandwich whilst watching the golfers. It is very peaceful sitting and watching the golfers. We found there was a good choice on the menu, it is very well priced and the service is good.

To stress, this review only relates to the range element of the golf centre and I've seen better. Positives are definitely there, the balls themselves are good (and white) and the cost is good. For me though that's the least you can expect. The downsides include the lack of a chipping area and an available putting green. There is one in front of the clubhouse but it isn't clear if it's usable for range guests. The biggest thing is the bays. With the driver out I felt scarily close to catching the beam between bays and in not sure if it's because they are narrow or the beam is poorly placed. Either way, not the best first visit.

The bar menu is small but what they do is good value. The beers are well looked after as is the golf course. So, if its a good round of golf followed by some good rounds of toasted sandwich with chips this is place. Delightful sitting outside in the sun and watching the shots into the 9th or 18th green. Over the coming months a lake is being added which will enhance the view and features.

Our daughter’s wedding was held at Brampton Heath on Saturday 18th May 2013.We were delighted with how the venue looked once it was all dressed and laid up. The service and general feeling of being looked after was superb. The food was faultless along with the service. Thank you to Tracey and all her team, especially Caroline. You cannot get a better venue with the terrace and the views. We would highly recommend this place. The cost was very competitive, realistic and worth every penny.
