The best restaurants serving Default food in Belper North Amber Valley East Midlands

A perfect destination ! We enjoyed an excellent lunch when we visited Belper today . Everything we could ask for in a cafe . Clean , comfortable , welcoming , dog friendly , lovely staff , plenty of choice on the menu, very good options for vegans , nice toilets . I could go on ! But best of all , the food was delicious . When we visit Belper again , this is definitely where we will be going .

The breakfast was excellent and the coffee was great. Staff really nice and patient even with difficult customers. Highly recommended.

This was probably some of the best Thai food we have ever had. We had the set menu for 2 and it was all lovely. Would definitely recommend and would 100% go back next time we are in the area.

Nice pub good beers dog friendly comfy seating would have been nice if the weather had been kinder to us so we could have sat outside and enjoyed the veiws

Another wonderful meal at this warm, welcoming establishment. Tried the crispy orange duck for a change and it was absolutely delicious! Steak cooked perfectly as always. The lemon garlic prawns and chilli tomato mussels starters were too good to miss and the cheesecake and tiramisu sweetly rounded off our fine repast. During our holiday in the area, we checked out good reviews for restaurants and found this little gem. Food was excellent, as was the friendly service. Would highly recommend. Free parking was a bonus!

A lovely pub, very busy when I popped in with my dog which is always a good sign. The beer was great and with the log fire going, was a proper country pub vibe. Definitely recommend a visit

Mi familia y yo tuvimos una oferta groupon aquí. Al llegar todo parecía bien, nos presentó los menús sólo para descubrir que no eran ofreciendo lo que había en la oferta groupon. El primer plato llega, que parecía fantástico darnos muchas esperanzas para el resto de nuestra comida. El campo principal tomó 40 minutos si no más en llegar, por que hacía frío. El papa puré parecía smash, y todos nuestros platos principales se veía como la comida que te dan en un 3,99 todo lo que pueda comer restaurante. El cerdo pedimos, que no estaba en el menú, pero el groupon ofrecen, era insípido. no devolverlo, ya que no queríamos esperar otra hora para nuestra comida. Cuando pedir bebidas principales ups, la camarera se le olvidó nosotros así que esperamos otra media hora. Una comida de 2 platos tardaron 2 horas, lo que es una vergüenza. sólo había 4 mesa por lo tanto no había excusa. Entiendo que tenían un comedor separado; así que ellos no quieren clientes groupon cerca pagadores personas completos. No vayas aquí. No malgastes tu dinero. La comida nos dejó 2 de nosotros enferma. This is a great setting for a cafe . What a shame it is being run as a ' greasy spoon ' establishment . The overall impression when entering was of expensive drinks ( £5.40 for two teas ) , grubby menus and a display of unappetising stale cake . But the worst thing was the overwhelming smell of old frying , even though all the doors were open . We bought takeaway teas from the kiosk in the car park ( £3.00 ) , and sat by the river instead . Great . And I didn't have to wash all our clothes when we arrived home to get rid of the smell ! It is a shame for the young staff being employed here . They need better management and training .

Inedible food rip of prices for absolute rubbish overcooked reheated poor quality food, really gone down hill it what was not great in the first place. All housed in a wreck of a takeaway that looks dirty and broken. Avoid at all costs
