Jade Garden in Amber Valley

Was extremely disappointed with the food which we ordered for our daughter birthday dinner. Found a piece of wood in one of the meals , Sweet and sour very vinegary and so many vegetables in every meal we had that I could not see why it cost so much. Such a shame as we used to love the meals from there.

Inedible food rip of prices for absolute rubbish overcooked reheated poor quality food, really gone down hill it what was not great in the first place. All housed in a wreck of a takeaway that looks dirty and broken. Avoid at all costs

I was surprised to see the bad reviews for Jade Garden i cant comment on the premises as i only ever order takeaway but every single order over the last 5 years has been delivered in good time by friendly staff and the food has been amazing...tasty and piping hot with no hygiene issues. They are always busy in the phones but have a very polite young girl taking the orders. Highly recommended! A++++++

What a shame. Been using since they had new owners. Lovely food delivered hot and in time. Unfortunately tonight I got a hair. Put me off for good and still feeling a bit sick.

Online system takes money but no order completion. Tried to sort out the problem on the phone, but had NO resolution. The poor girl that answered the phone was as polite as possible, whilst the owner just shouted at her in the background. I even sent a screenshot of the money taken from my account but no satisfaction to the problem of missing money was forthcoming.. SCAMMERS DO NOT ORDER

Food was beautiful nice and hot ,,delivered well within time specified,,,will defo be ordering again,, ,

We order around 3-4 times a month and to be fair it’s always good to excellent. You have to wait a bit but it’s worth it. Not sure if new owners have recently taken over but food has stepped up even more. It’s just delish 😋 Drivers who deliver are all nice too 👍 ( crispy chilli beef for us every time )

Staff (phone lady) tried to steal my money!! Fortunately the mum came out and put her in her place. Food in the past has been awful and cold. I honestly don’t know how they’re still in business !!

This Chinese is terrible! It's dirty on the inside and dirt on the outside. With this being said, I decided to stop being a ponce and tried the food (wish that i had'nt) the rice was burnt and the chicken was not like any chicken that I had before.... nearly made me sick. Oh and Chapel st smells to high heaven on Chinese grease and fat. Thanks!

Sickening. Tried this place and the food was prepared quickly. As I ate my Thai style house special sweet and sour I pulled out a huge brown hair, thick and around 15cm long!!! Never, ever again!!!

We are never disappointed when getting food from here. Food is amazing! Can’t recommend it enough. Place is very clean, and staff are very friendly!

We had a meal for 4, a meal for 2 and a king prawn fu yung. Really good value. All the food was great, stand out food was the roast duck, beef dish and kung bo prawn. It was all great. Good service, took 20mins to prep and we collected. Friendly service.

This used to be half decent. But having changed hands, the food is over cooked, oily and worthy of the bin! Save you money, and cook something yourself!!

because of receiving a wrong order before, i made sure to repeat exactly what i wanted on the phone at least five times. i walked in and checked my order when it got given to me and it was wrong again. i said that it wasnt what i asked for and they told me that its what i asked for and what i said, which is wrong. (there are two different variations of what i wanted, i asked for the crispy shredded chicken version) i was then asked for more money to have the food i originally asked for and told there would be a long wait. they shouldve listened to what i wanted in the first time after i insisted i wanted the crispy shredded chicken version on the phone multiple times!

Telephoned a £45 order through and told it would be 30 mins before ready for collection. On entering the shop a customer asked me if I liked a long wait. One hour later we had to demand our money back and so did two other people. We will never go back again unless it gets new owners

Terrible food was an incomplete order. Sauce for sweet and sour arrived 1.5 hours after original order after a telephone call

Ordered a meal by phone to collect. Took all our details, Name, Phone Number and even gave us the total cost price. Went to collect and was kept waiting for 30 Mins only to be told we hadn't placed an order. So no food. Fuming. Heard it had gone downhill. Don't think we will be using again. Currently sitting in another Chinese waiting for our takeaway.

I have been eating jade garden for a long time. The delivery time on the weekend is long but worth the wait been told the approximate waiting time. Good food. As always. Would recommend!

We have tried this takeaway a few times, it has a 5 star hygiene rating which appealed to us. We ordered different dishes each time. We found the service good but the food really bland. On our last visit and it will be our last ,the food was still the same, tasteless. The curry tasted of absolutely nothing. No one finished their food so it was a waste of money.

Hemos tenido la comida de aquí en numerosas ocasiones a lo largo de los últimos dos años y la manera en que la inconsistente Jade Garden opera ahora me echó. Probablemente para el bien.

Usamos este Chino al menos 3 veces al mes, ya que vivimos en la misma calle.

I tend to have my food delivered and they dont hang about it's here pretty quick and if they are busy will give you an approx estimate of delivery time, if your collecting your parking can be tricky at times its on a street with a lot of stationary traffic but well worth the visit, the food is divine and always piping hot, cooked to perfection, no cheap ingredients and generous portions, i still dont know how their batter is so thin but still lovely and crispy, i wouldnt go anywhere else in my local area im approx 3/4 miles away

Tucked away, this is well worth seeking out - lovely atmosphere, intimate yet open, the staff are great and the food is even better - just love their menu
