The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Denbighshire North Wales

Staff are very friendly. A little wait when busy. Food is cooked to ordered. Always fresh food. Nothing is too much trouble with allergies. Food is always hot.

The food is excellent, one of the best if not the best Chinese takeaways I have visited only been there twice because it's along way from where we live , but saying that it would be worth booking into a hotel for the night just to have a meal from there. The lady serving behind the counter is very jolly and pleasant , can't wait to go there again.

Always greeted with a smile Service is quick, even when busy , which they always seem to be. Food is excellent, I recommend the spare ribs and the fish and chips are always fresh and good portions

This has just been taken over and is now called Lucky Phoenix. I am a truck driver who passes by and regularly stops in the village for food. Since the new owners have taken over, in my opinion it’s not good. Won’t ever stop again.(Steve you are solely missed)

We ordered a ‘take away’ & collected it. Pretty much the only decent thing about it was that the meal was ready on time. We ordered a banquet for 2 plus extras as there were three of us dining. If you’re going to provide tiny portion sizes at least make sure that the quality is good!! All I’m going to say at this juncture is that the crispy duck (crispy duck with pancakes) was just like it had been deep fried yuck - I don’t even care that the portion was small, but make it decent. As for the crispy chilli beef 😂 tough, tough, tough, joke. There’s more, but what’s the point. Maybe they had a bad day at the office ‘restaurant’, who knows, but at my expense as it wasn’t even cheap - I will certainly not be visiting any time soon.

Best Chinese food I've ever eaten! Great staff, great atmosphere and the price was reasonable.

Food was served nice and hot Plenty on your plate Couldn't fault the meal , The only thing I can say i felt could be improved I entered the restaurant through the back row , the entrance was nt pleasant Could do with a tidy up ,rubbish bins , Rubbish ,clusters of stuff pots ect

The food was disgusting and looked old even the curry sauce tased old. Microwave was pinging too so wasn’t fresh. One customer got into an argument as she put vinegar on his food and he was allergic, she was fuming when he made her cook another portion. I put the whole lot in the bin when I opened the food! The sausages on display must have been a week old they looked dry and horrible and screamed food poisoning! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

This was our first time ordering from here. We ordered for 6 people, one asked for duck pancakes. Duck was missing from order. Had to go back, and pay for it because they said we didn’t order the duck, only pancakes (make no sense). Then had to wait 15 minutes whilst they cooked it. The food was delicious when we finally sat down to eat it. Unfortunately we probably won’t go back.

Took over. Two hours. For. Out. Food to. Be. Delivered. We made several. Phone calls. Still. Not delivered by the time the food. Got to us we. Had. Eaten as didn’t. Know whether we was going to get our food. Or not

Excellent food, it was piping hot and the service was superb. Would recommend to anyone. I was very impressed with everything at this restaurant.

I have had many beef curry and fried rice over 30 or so years of going there,from when they were on the high street as the peacock to now as pudding and pie,excellent food and service,very polite and helpful

Ordered a Chinese tonight and again didn’t receive what we ordered and paid for, rang them back and the lady on the phone was very rude, the Chinese woman was the one that answered and hung up on me twice. Will not go there again and the food was terrible!! After the experience I had they need to have better customer service for future customers.
