This has just been taken over and is now called Lucky Phoenix. I am a truck driver who passes by and regularly stops in the village for food. Since the new owners have taken over, in my opinion it’s not good. Won’t ever stop again.(Steve you are solely missed)

As a regular customer i am extremely disappointed in the food and service. I am a Vegetarian and I usually order the same meal, a mushroom omlette, so when I found meat (chicken) in my omlette I was horrified; My phone call to the restaurant was met with defensiveness and somehow them telling me off for not phoning the same day, followed by an an offer of 10% off my next meal. I did explain why I hadn't phoned the same day (yesterday 9th November) - I wasn't eating it until late therefore i didnt know the omelette had meat inside. (it was too late to phone as they would have been shut). Disgusting, will NOT be eating here ever again and I will be advising other's to do the same. **Edited to add, this is the first time I have had to complain.

Myself and my partner stayed in Prestatyn for her birthday, and we decided to eat at Chynna Gardens having seen their menu and fancied the Malaysian banquet for two. The spicy laksa soup to start was outstanding! The mixed starters were interesting sugar chicken balls the highlight, the wings were however a bit dry. Main courses were incredible, the Beef Rendang was so good, crispy chicken in a clay pot and sambal king prawns were equally excellent accompanied by perfect nasi goreng rice. Even the pineapple and banana fritters to finish were good, not a heavy and greasy batter that are the norm, light and delicious. I wish we lived nearer!

Always nervous about going to a new Chinese but to be honest this place is even better than my usual back home in Liverpool. Everything was perfect from the chicken and sweetcorn soup to the fillet steak in Cantonese sauce. The spring rolls were also absolutely delicious! The staff are super friendly and prices are good!

The food was disgusting and looked old even the curry sauce tased old. Microwave was pinging too so wasn’t fresh. One customer got into an argument as she put vinegar on his food and he was allergic, she was fuming when he made her cook another portion. I put the whole lot in the bin when I opened the food! The sausages on display must have been a week old they looked dry and horrible and screamed food poisoning! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Worst Chinese we’ve ever had. I ordered chicken curry & boiled rice and my partner had Sichuan beef & boiled rice and 4 spring rolls both our mains tasted watery, no flavour whatsoever even the boiled rice was rank. It was spot the meat as tiny, dry pieces of chicken and beef. We took a few bites and binned! Seriously avoid. I never believed a Chinese could taste so bad. It gives Chinese cuisine a bad name.
