This has just been taken over and is now called Lucky Phoenix. I am a truck driver who passes by and regularly stops in the village for food. Since the new owners have taken over, in my opinion it’s not good. Won’t ever stop again.(Steve you are solely missed)

I’ve been trying to get a decent takeaway and I can say there’s a few but I can’t believe ppl dis this place .. I can honestly say it’s 👍🏻 be definitely coming back .. service was excellent polite very good .. keep going

Serves a good menu of Chinese food at a reasonable price. Opens part-time (don’t know how he gets away with it!). Don’t bother calling at lunchtime or anytime on a Tuesday ... Pot-luck after 10pm. Steve works lazy hours! 👍

Me and my friends ordered from here we got 5 lots of chips and curry sauce the sauce was extremely spicy felt like my tongue was going to fall off. While ordering my food the old man was extremely rude towards us telling us that we could not have the sauce separate as it would cost more . Extremely disappointed will stick to microwaveable meals in future!!

The best Chicken Chow Mein I have tasted outside of Hong Kong ! Fabulous ! Steve is a great front of house. Would we try anyway else ? Doubtful . If it aint broke don’t try and fix it.

I like this Chinese I ordered sweet and sour chicken with rice and noodles, it’s good quality and tastes great, prices could be better. Not too keen on the chips as they aren’t like chippy chips. But overall very happy.

The Singapore vermicelli was really good but the black bean, although very tasty, needed more sauce and less green peppers - its was 50% green peppers taking up the room for the black bean sauce and meat.

This is a good, local Chinese take away. Always busy around tea time. We have never had a disappointing meal.

Overall, I'm really impressed: - Service was friendly and accommodating. - Everything seems clean. - Good menu variety. - Good value (majority of meals include chips/rice). - Portion size is good. Fills a large plate well. - Food is great; probably the best Chinese takeaway meal i've had in some time. I'd definitely recommend this if you live in the local area or are passing through. Excellent. If you are in the area and want a Chinese Takeaway look no further. The proprietor is very friendly the parking is easy and the premises are clean and spacious. Recommend!

Lived in Bodelwyddan for 8 years and have tried other takeaways over the years but haven't found one to match Lucky Garden both for quality and value.

I eat from here once a fortnight when I'm on a late shift and I can highly recommend the mixed grill. The staff are friendly and food has always been to a good standard

Lucky Garden in Bodelwyddan is pretty much your average Chinese takeaway. The meals are usually good, service is ok and value is comparable to just about everywhere else. They seem to do a fairly good trade from both local residents and people who work nearby. A word of warning though - it can close earlier than advertised so keep this in mind if you're planning on buying a takeaway from there, and phone through with your order well in advance. You'd be (prawn) crackers not to!

Friendly staff. Quick service. Value for money . Have tried most of the menu. All meals have been cooked to perfection and enjoyed every one. Will always recommend to family and friends alike.
