Our first visit to East restaurant yesterday, and what a lovely culinary experience. The food was amazing and the staff were so attentive and friendly. My two teenage boys have not stopped talking about it today....loved it!

Tops is now closed but a sign on the door says they will be reopening when another suitable site has been found in or around Craig-y- Don. Anybody know if they have found anywhere yet?

Good food let down by home made chips prefer traditional chips Good atmosphere if you book to eat in.

Had a chicken fried rice on Sunday , absolutely disgusting, £7.50 thrown in the bin

Very nice cooked breakfast,bacon sausages,spam,eggs,hash brown,beans. £4.50 bargain!! I'll be eating here again on Friday and for all my future cooked food. I would definitely recommend this restraunt.

Best Chinese /fish bar around the area go every year good food great price fish is lovely fresh and really tasty staff are really friendly

We enjoyed 3 different and very tasty meals. Lots of flavour and generous portion sizes too. The salt and chilli chips were especially yummy! Friendly and efficient service, also worth noting absolutely brilliant covid-aware set up of the collection point. Thank you :)

I made a point of asking if the duck dishes were very fatty, the manager said the one I chose (crispy duck in plum sauce) would have very little fat. I was looking forward to a nice tasting meal but unfortunately it was at least 80% fat. I had to hunt for the few bits of duck meat that were there. The manager noticed that I hadn’t eaten it and avoided our table for the rest of the evening. A shame as my friends chicken dish was good and we were looking for a regular place to eat out, but won’t be going back.

Most of it not nice. I had chicken curry and the chicken was dry and chewy, very obviously past best. Curry sauce tasted very obviously made of curry powder. My other half had sweet and sour pork and he said it was chewy and tasteless. The fried rice however was quite nice. Quick (a bit suspiciously quick) and friendly though. Won't be back however, disappointing as our favourite Chinese is closed and looking for an alternative.

me and my partner have become regulars yo this place! we love the fish and chips and we agree the sausages are the best ! The staff are wonderful and the prices are spot on!

The food was tasty and good quality, the prices were reasonable and it was ready within 20 minutes. Cash only, but they do remind you at the time you order.

Overcharged. £2 When I queried she said chips NOT included with curry.....although menu says they ARE. She charged £1. I didn't argue and asked for the other £1 back. Right frosty and NO prawn crackers 🤣🤣🤣 Will go elsewhere now. Plenty of others.

Very disappointed meals were not hot just warm order was wrong no seaweed no sweet and sour sauce no fried rice ordered vegetarian chop suey roll had meat in it duck was very over cooked
