Red Sun in Conwy

We enjoyed 3 different and very tasty meals. Lots of flavour and generous portion sizes too. The salt and chilli chips were especially yummy! Friendly and efficient service, also worth noting absolutely brilliant covid-aware set up of the collection point. Thank you :)

Lovely little chippy that do dinner time specials always happy to help with anything you want and it's always very clean.

Never had a bad meal from here. The beef Szechuan is spot on, good service too. The building itself may look run down, but don’t be put off, the food quality definitely makes up for it

We love the curry here and always make a point of calling on our way to Anglesey. We have been calling here years and have never had a bad meal.

Just had a chicken curry with boiled rice,yuck!!!!! More mushrooms than rice,anyway whose ever heard of mushrooms in a chicken curry,tasted disgusting even the rice was like rubber (how do they do that??????)

Hands down the best Chinese I have ever been to in my entire life lovely freshly cooked lovely and clean and gorgeous food thoroughly enjoyed! Well done I say best Chinese for miles

Me and my girlfriend have been getting food from here for about a year now and we have not once had to complain and the food has been amazing every time. The staff are very friendly and you are never kept waiting longer than you should be. Highly recommend the chicken in schezuan. Gorgeous.

Have not been here for a while so thought we would give it a try and we were not disappointed as the food was excellent and full of flavour. I would recommend the special fried rice as it was most enjoyable and very filling. Will definitely be ordering from here again.

Chips were good as always disappointed with the ‘gravy’ as it was more like a pot of oil usually everything is nice from here

This chippy has gone down hill, was not impressed the chips were not very nice and the rice was even worse.

We order food most Saturdays evenings and have never been disappointed. Freshly cooked and very pleasant staff. Clean and tidy premises !

We visit Snowdonia every few years and found what we thought was a decent Chinese in Llandudno Junction, however, as the owner likes Cocaine more than Cantonese - he is now doing five years in Strangeways - it is evident that we need to move on! Alas, a new takeaway was on the hit list and we happened across the Red Sun. It's not our normal kind of takeaway but when you're away you have to go with the flow. The owner is a decent chap and I hope he does well, the food was very good and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The Beef Chow Mein was lovely, prawn crackers were a bit sparse but times are hard! Keep up the good work!

Never had a problem here, excellent service, good food at a good price. Staff are friendly and very polite.

I've tried most of the main dishes from here, and they are always tasty. Well cooked, well flavoured and friendly staff to boot. Highly recommended. Also, note how clean the place is!

I visit sometimes during lunch when they have some excellent deals on, all of which are perfect for that time of day. Usually and oddly dont visit at night, going to our usual Chinese. Visited a few nights back and the Special Fried Rice, Chicken Satay and Chicken curry were excellent. The place is really clean and staff very friendly. Quick service too. Will be back and recommended.

Always enjoy the food from here. Sweet & sour chicken balls ars lovely, as are the lunchtime specials they offer- 1/2 rice, 1/2 chips & curry sauce for approx £3.00.

Todo perfecto. Probé el pollo con jengibre y piña Pickled . fue tan diferentes y tan delicioso. el personal es amable, bienvenido y educado. Las instalaciones son escrupulosamente limpias. Volveremos muy pronto.

Eat from here often as only down the road to us.Recently had the sweet and sour chicken balls and chips which was very nice, also had soft noodles and bbq ribs as sides which are also tasty. Husband had the soup which was good and very tasty.

I travelled all the way from Betws-y-Coed especially for a take-away from Red Sun. Unfortunately some of the more local Chinese options have poor food hygiene ratings whereas Red Sun has the highest rating of 5.The premises are basic but very clean. The service is exceptional for a simple take-away Chinese fish and chip shop. I have only sampled a few dishes but all have been very good.Recommended!

Am local so get lunchtime takeaway quite often from red sun. Friendly pleasant Family run takeaway.Lunchtime specials are great tasting and reasonably priced and evening meals are lovely too.

Stopped off on the way through to Colwyn Bay and ordered fish, chips & curry, chips where OK curry sauce was OK but the fish was unpalatable. Stopped off on the Cayley embankment to look over the bay whilst having lunch and I can honestly say it was the worst fish I have ever had the displeasure of trying to eat, 1 mouthful and gave it to the seagulls, won't be going there again!!

This is the best Chinese Takeaway around. The food is amazing and the staff are so kind and friendly. I highly recommend you try it out!

Bored of my local chinese takeaways so we decided to try this one. Walked in and was slightly put off by the smell of cleaning products, before my husband reminded me that it was 10pm and pretty much closing time, and it shows they're clearly a hygienic kind of place. So I ordered chicken with green peppers and black bean with some egg fried rice. Loved the fact that I could see through into the back room and watch the chef cooking it (from scratch it appeared - I don't know why, but I was surprised) and when I tasted it 10 mins later, it was probably the nicest chicken with black bean that I've ever had! Really tasty and tangy and all the veg was cooked just how I like it - not too soft, not too crunchy. And the chicken was tender and juicy. It really was nice - so we'll be going back next time :-) Oh, and the rice was lovely too.

Fantastic "specials" during lunchtimes. Great food day time and evenings. Faultless service. The only take-away worth considering in Mochdre. (Got a 5* hygiene when the other recently opened one only got 2*) They were only opened because the owners of the Chinese will not sell to Mani who owns most of the shops and he wants to put the Chinese out of business, yet they cannot compete on food hygiene!RED SUN in Mochdre - the takeaway locals trust.
