The food is delicious and the staff are so friendly and attentive 😊 The food is always packaged so nicely when ordering takeaway too.

Just spent the night celebrating my Birthday with the family in China Garden colwyn bay, 10 of us, the service was excellent the food was amazing! We all had different meals everyone one was so fresh & tasty will definitely be back & recommending thank you for a lovely night 😊

The dishes are full of flavour, always generous portions, quite pricey compared to local Chinese takeaways. I love spring rolls so I tried the duck ones but they lacked duck, I mean I could taste duck but couldn’t find much in the roll.

We had our first takeaway from this restaurant and were very impressed. The food arrived freshly cooked hot and delicious. We will certainly be ordering again soon.

My bill was 48.50 pounds, and I paid 50 pounds in cash. The boss kept the rest of the money directly without giving it back to me, nor did she ask me if she could keep the rest of the money as a tip. I sat there waiting for 10 minutes and no one spoke to me, which made me very embarrassed. The experience was really bad. I will not go there again. They are very uneducated.

Didn’t realise at first this was a sit in restaurant and yes limited tables with a no fuss decor like being back in Hong Kong it’s all about the food. The portions and quality was fantastic and the flavours were authentic and enjoyable and we nearly carried on after long into the window thinking it was just a takeaway. Had a great evening with tasty food and the no fuss no rush atmosphere was refreshing.

Excellent food, a plethora of options, great service and nice atmosphere. I had the beef in thai-shanghai sauce and a side order of fried rice which were both very enjoyable. The pineapple fritters for dessert were the perfect end to the meal. Best Chinese food I’ve had in Wales hands down.

Collected a takeaway from here and it was outstanding. Everything was packaged beautifully. The Sui Mai was the best I have ever tasted and the beef curry was fantastic. The house special rice was fabulous full of lovely prawns and pork etc. Thank you for a delicious banquet.

Our first order as on a family holiday and really impressed with the exceptional quality of our Chinese meal. If we only lived closer we would order regularly. Everything was perfectly cooked and delivered with care by a very polite young man. Can’t comment on atmosphere as didn’t visit. The lemon chicken was particularly delicious.

Had a lovely meal here, the crispy duck and the spare ribs were excellent. It’s only a small restaurant with only a few tables but well worth a visit, also does takeaways which appeared very popular when we were there. Next time we’re in the area we’ll be going back.

More of a takeaway than a restaurant. Probably the best Chinese in the area. The food quality is consistent, more expensive than most but worth the extra.

It was my first visit to this restaurant and I could not fault it at all. The service was excellent and the food exceptional. I would highly recommend this restaurant, easily 5 Stars for me

Outstanding food and brilliant service. Great family atmosphere. Every dish was delicious and fresh from the hot and sour soup, dim sum and duck to the kung po and sechuan dishes. Don't forget to try the lemon chicken and chow mein! A hidden gem and we can't wait to go back soon.

In de loempia bijna alleen maar soja scheuten en enkele kleine stukjes kip. De lenterolletjes amper gevuld. Bij de gebakken rijst miste ik ei en groentjes. De kipvleugels met honing waren heel pikant en ook de saus die erbij was, nochtans niet vermeld op het menu.

To start with this is not a restaurant. It's more like a takeaway with some tables and chairs in. There's a lot of people getting takeaway. The food was nice , absolutely no atmosphere tho. The prices are on the high side for the establishment. Tried it but won't bother again I'm afraid.

Brilliant Chinese, we're new to the area, the food is consistently great. My wife's tried quite a few different dishes and always raves about them. Especially the duck in plumb sause shes not stopped talking about it. definitely recommend!

We have travelled to many many Chinese restaurants throughout the uk and Europe , even New York and this meal was absolutely the best we have ever had. And I’m gluten free they were so helpful with advice to what I could have. We even went back for our 2nd night stay as it was my birthday. A big thank you to Matt and Louise so friendly and nice. Just wish we lived there in Wales. But will definitely travel again soon for another weekend away so see you soon....

Incredible service, went here last evening with my wife. Ate in the restaurant and the food was first class but the service was even better. Totally attentive, asking if we would like extra food even though the portions were generous. The staff are the stars of this establishment and the food totally delicious. Well done.

Whilst on holiday in Rhos on sea we ordered a meal for 12 people from China Garden. Service was friendly and efficient and the young lad that greeted us was a little character! Food was delicious and hot and they were very efficient. Highly recommend the China garden !

Lovely little restaurant. Found by chance. Very friendly and polite staff and the food was amazing. The house special fried rice was the best we had ever tasted. Travelled 14 miles to this visit and would do again. Well worth a visit. Highly recommended.

We have had a lovely meal here this evening. The gentleman on front of house was superb, very knowledgeable about the food, the wine and his service was 5*. He was also full of advice about the surrounding tourist destinations. Everything cooked from scratch and the flavours said it all. This restaurant is a real gem.

Visited for the first time last night to dine in. The staff were extremely welcoming, even though they were run off their feet trying to get telephone orders out. We were served to drinks straight away and given complimentary prawn crackers. I ordered the red Thai chicken curry and it was delicious, my partner ordered Panang special curry and asked for it extra hot/spicy. This came as requested and was extremely tasty. All dishes were served piping hot. Overall, our visit was very pleasant and we will certainly be returning. Highly recommended.

We travelled from Liverpool with my fiancée for a weekend away from everything. After a great time on the mountain and visiting the castle 18000 steps we was wondering where to eat. Ended up in China Garden Restaurant. Lovely welcome from Mat. We ordered a Dim Sum Combination and a Chicken & Sweet Corn soup for a starter. The portion is not too much but the quality mate... All the sauces, the meat, the soup, the prawn crackers... It worth every penny. We was suprised how many take away delivery going out, all the respect for the chefs for maintaining the quality. We had a nice breeder inbetween courses, to let it settle. Had a lovely jasmin tea and and double JD with coke. I was suprised of the price of the Dbl JD with coke only £5.90, some places charge u £8 only for the JD!!!!!! For main we ordered a House Special Chow Mein without shellfish because of allergies. We been informed everything is freshly made, and after we tasted the chow mein, we can verify that. The chow mein was spot on! Thanks for the experience!!! Lovely evening Mat!!! Sorry, I took the pictures too late when we started to eat but it was presented lovely!

Not very nice food delivered cold . Quality of food not good . This reminds me Of the time environment health got involved and shut this place down . I supported them with the relaunch but I’m sorry to say I’ve seen it all before I personally will not be buying food from this restaurant again

This is our regular Chinese and yes it is quite expensive compared to other places but we don’t mind as we know the meat is quality. Tonight we ordered, delivery was earlier than expected. On dishing out the food it was quite noticeable the chicken was small in size and not much sauce. The chicken was discoloured and tasteless and dry! £30 for 2 meals which were wasted! Don’t cut corners because it s going to be a busy night, you’ll lose customers!! If I was in the restaurant I would be asking for a refund.

We are fairly new to the area and were trying to book a restaurant table at the weekend. Everywhere was booked up until we tried ringing this establishment. Surprisingly they could book a table for any time we wanted. We had never visited before but turned up at the appointed time and immediately left. From what I could see this is basically a take away with a few tables within what is the waiting area for those collecting take away meals. It was very busy with people waiting for take aways and many were even sitting at the tables waiting their turn. Noone else was actually sitting and eating. For all I know the food might be great but I had no desire to sit amongst a crowd whilst eating so we left

Went in Saturday night; shocked at how busy it was. The table i booked was presented neatly with perfect lighting. The kind young women served us with drinks first, then asked us for our food. Although it was on the more pricey side, absolutely worth it! Food was hot and delicious, served fast with great customer service. 100% recommend.

Very expensive and rude manager Just had a meal so expensive £31 .60 for 2 meals Manager blamed price increase on all ingredients. £8.50 for a beef curry then an additional £2.50 for rice A portion of chips with a tiny amount of onions and 1 slice of chilli £4.80 Soup in a tiny pot £4.20. Don’t mind paying for a meal but feel this place is so expensive What makes it worse when I complained to a member of staff I heard the manager in the background a lady saying just tell him not to come back. Just be careful very expensive and a rude owner or manager.

Food was nice but if you want to take your leftovers away you have to pay 50p per tub so I won't be going there again as its just money grabbing and no other restaurants do that so for the sake of a couple of pounds you've lost 2 customers that would have come back and paid £60 plus

The food was excellent but the service was slow, there wasn't many people eating in but the take away side was busy. To serve them they left us and others eating in we were left for a long time.
