The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Yorkshire and The Humber

Been a long time since we used Gia Hua take away, we certainly won’t be going back. There is nothing good to say about the food, very oily, full of bean sprouts, stodgy, even noodles over cooked. Would not recommend.

Friendly staff and delicious food. Lots of choice, quick service and good value. Will be paying another visit when we come to cleethorpes again.

Awful experience. First time ever trying a takeaway from here. My son’s food was ok but my chicken was stone cold in the middle and some of it raw. Contacted the restaurant and took photos. Was advised it was due to it being delivered. I explained it was hot on the outside but uncooked on the inside, I was then told it was a new chef and an apology was offered. They advised they would refund the following day. 2 weeks on no refund .

New GardenLocated opposite the train station, we ordered food to take away.We had Singapore Chow Mein, Special Fried Rice with Curry and Mixed Vegetables in Szechuan sauce. A bag of prawn crackers was given for free.This was the worst experience in Chinese food we ever had. The Singapore Chow Mein tasted disgusting, it was bitter and inedible.Special Fried Rice was extremely salty. The curry sauce that came with it was as thick as jelly.The Mixed Vegetables in Szechuan sauce tasted really artificial. It wasn't spicy as it should be but sweet and full of MSG.It didn't go any better with the prawn crackers that were spoilt. They've forgot to keep them in an airtight container.It was on a Saturday when most catering businesses are busy but this restaurant was dark and empty at 6 -7pm. The service was fine and the food were reasonably priced. Other than that, never again!

I have been dining at this location since it opened and management has maintained a high standard of dining hospitality through the years. Our visit this evening was no exception. Although very busy, the service was welcoming and prompt. We ordered spicey salty shrimp in shell, Cantonese chow mein and turnip bites. Within minutes of ordering, the food started arriving. The food was nicely presented, well prepared with quality ingredients and very tasty.... and no MSG hangover. The portions are very generous! The premises, and most importantly, the washrooms are clean and well kept. If you want a high quality family dining experience, I highly recommend this Congee Queen location. There is something on the menu for everyone. There is high value in all respects in dining here.

Fab GF menu, after being diagnosed coeliac I honestly thought Chinese takeaway was never to be. When I found this place and actually ate their food I was amazed!! HUGE GF menu and zero symptoms after eating. I even questioned a dish and they seemed so knowledgable about the ingredients and GF diet I was impressed!! Definitely a hidden gem in hull and I'll definitely be ordering time and time again in the future!! Cabt recommend enough

Great Chinese takeaway, A very friendly Chinese lady served me. Great food, especially the crispy Chinese chicken. Clean ,reasonably priced, good portion sizes..if I lived in Bridlington I would definitely use again..

I got spare ribs which were lovely The chips were ok and the mushroom omelette was to for the chicken balls were nice the sauces curry and sweet and sour were delicious

Do not use this takeaway! Chips that we had paid for were missing from the order, food was poor quality and smelled bad , and we were short changed by £3.60.

Chosen by recommendations, very average, chicken balls very oily, and salt and pepper chips way too spicy (personally)! Spring rolls just contained bean sprouts…? Okay but will be looking elsewhere.

Hands down the best chicken bucket ...Great value great taste and great service!!!! If your passing make sure to stop.and try this place

We keep trying this Chinese because it's just down the road from us . I Thought I would try a chilli dish of Chicken garlic chilli with mushrooms, it had too many mushrooms . It wasn't very good or hot . I think I will give up on Chinese food.

From entering Chinese girl wasn’t interested and didn’t want to be there. English girl took our order and said would be 10mins Nothing special about the fried rice. Nothing in it, terrible. Spicy chips rubbish Curry sauce I can do better myself and tastes better. Very disappointed and spent £17 Didn’t even give prawn crackers!! Stay clear and make it yourself!

Do not order salt and pepper chicken from this place!taste like they've just generally mixed so many cleaning products and when I rang back their were rather cheeky towards me however we had eaten everything else with our food and they told me they wanted all the food back to examine when it was just the chicken?customer service was awful I also work in a Chinese myself and I would never speak to customers the way they spoke to me tonight it was out of order and very disrespectful
