Ordered chips with my main meal. Absolutely awful. They seem to be old, re-cooked/heated for my order - see pictures. Very disappointed as these were definitely not fresh. Binned, so a waste of my money for two portions. Need to cook from fresh in future.

Below average is a reasonable score , special curry watery and tasteless, vegetable spring roll starter, (8) in one portion , 3 of which had no filling. Fried rice was great…

Wow, BBQ spare ribs, awesome. Prawn toast outstanding. Thai Prawn curry amazing and Chicken & king Prawn curry, immense. Two portions of fried rice and we're both a couple of very happy, and full bunnies. Thank you.

We had a lovely takeaway last week - duck, chicken curry and vegetable curry - would definitely recommend. As the menu states they only take cash but there are a few cash machines nearby.

This Chinese is at the bottom of our road We have never liked it . So we have given it another chance and it is much better. We will definitely going back

Ordered by phone, given a collection time, arrived on time - just waiting for chicken satay. 20 minutes later still no food despite others receiving theirs. When we finally got our food it was okay, nothing special but large portions. They are cash only and I advise you to check your change!!!!!

Went in for takeout after a tough day of hiking. Food ready quite quickly after ordering, though you can order by phone. Good quality nice tasting Chinese. Prices reasonable though be aware, cash only. Would recommend and will probably visit again.

Me and friend had meal from here on Thursday evening and it was bloody good. It wasn't a long wait at all 15 minutes it was really hot and obviously fresh. Thankyou.

Rather busy Chinese takeaway but service was good and we were warned before we ordered that it would be a 20 minute wait (was Saturday evening) Food was some of the best chinese takeaway food I have had. Staff friendly and efficient and they even offer chocolates to eat whist you wait Special mention for their Chicken Balls with Sweet and Sour Sauce and their chips

Hab food from here last night 31st July, curry was like water and had no taste, crispy beef was unchewable and the pork was like rubber. Spend over 40 quid here with the 2 orders we got.

What a gem of a find this was. We were staying nearby, and fancied a take-out. We found this just driving through, and are very glad we stopped. The service was incredibly quick and friendly, and the food was superb and excellent value. I urgently required a toilet and asked if there were any nearby, but they let me use theirs. I truly appreciate that, and thank the lady very much for her hospitality. That aside, this is still a fantastic place to grab a high-quality take-out at a great price.

Normally get a chinese takeaway from Kirkby Lonsdale but decided to try this one as its nearer. The fried rice wasn't very nice. It was dark brown which put me off

What a lovely meal. Great quick service and excellent food. I am not usually a great fan of Chinese food but this was superb. Lovely big pieces of tasty meat, crunchy fresh veggies and subtle sauces. I would highly recommend this take away.

My daughter and I were greeted pleasantly and the lady behind the counter was happy to explain a couple of things on the menu, and to make changes to them when we asked. It was prepared quite quickly and was delicious. We had a banquet fir a really reasonable price. My grandson would definitely recommend the satay chicken, he eat it all.

Ordered from this takeaway, when placing the order, communication was difficult to say the least, on arrival to collect, was told that a meal ordered was not available, despite being allowed to order! Staff are rude, please and thank you were non existent in their vocabulary and the only positive is the food is tasty and generous portions..... Staff would possibly benefit from customer service course.....or get some different staff!!!

Been to to this takeaway a couple of timws now... It's delicious, friendly staff and generous portions! One of the best we we've been too! Only downside is there's no wontons on the menu. Highly recommended

I had fried chicken and mushroom it had NO Chinese flavour at all, no Chinese mushrooms no sauce. Lots of rice. Expensive too!

Don't get me wrong, I love a chinese feast as much as any deep fried food aficionado but this dross was one I hope to never experience again. Apon first calling this establishment the phone was answered with an uninterested 'hello', I had to therefore ask if this was actually Little Fortune and not old Ralphy McThistlethwatts gaff up Goodenber Rd!? The voice on the other replied 'what' grumpily, I asked the basic question again to finally receive a 'yeah' answer which affirmed that I had called the local takeaway and not 'Cool Hand Trev' of 'Trev and the Wandering Wallaby Whisperers' fame down Low Bentham Rd, again! Mind you I wish I had called Trev to discuss the tastiest marsupial taming treats which may have saved me £30.40 to spend on good food, elsewhere!Food ordered was as follows: Salt and chilli chicken wings, pretty good, crispy and tasty.Prawn toast, very little prawn and overly greasy.Mini veg spring rolls, containing a strange mush, no identifiable vegetable matter and too greasy. I presume bought in frozen.BBQ spare ribs, tough, tasteless and swimming in a strange gloopy, wallpaper paste like sauce which didn't taste of anything.Mains:Special Chow Mein, loads of meat, noodles flavourless and overcooked, overall flavour massively lacking, not pleasant.King prawns with spring onion and ginger, lack of flavour again! Veg overcooked, huge slices of ginger which you really dont want to eat but to be fair, a lot of prawns.In summary, a thoroughly disappointing 30 plus quid spent on really poorly cooked 'Chinese' food. A quite blatant and obvious lack of care, effort and attention went into making this dire disaster. Perhaps they were thinking it was going to one of their regular 'special' caravan park numptys who'd keep coming back even if they'd been served duck shiz won tons!?

Use Little Fortune every time we stay in Bentham. . Enjoyed most dishes. Very good speedy service. Always ready at time promised. Good value for money.

We decided to try the takeaway as we were on holiday in the area and had been out all day. Our food was prepared quickly and was still lovely and warm by the time we got back to the cottage. Our meals were tasty and filling and we enjoyed them. We would definitely visit here again.
