The most unappetising "Chinese" food we've eaten. It wasn't cheap but it was almost inedible. Very little flavour in the Singapore noodles. We won't be bothering again

Having read the previous āsuspiciously wordedāreviews about the Golden Phoenix I have never had a problem with waiting times or the quality of the food. The previous review may have been google translated to max š I have been a regular customer for three years. The food is fresh hot and very tasty. The menu is widely varied and the owners freely promote new dishes on the menu.. Tried the others in area with disappointing results. Unfortunately they donāt take cards and that in the current climate needs to change ASAP!

The food is always fantastic. Always hot & cooked properly. Staff are extremely friendly. In my opinion, the best Chinese in Torquay. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Our order was freshly cooked, and it remained piping hot in transit. This was just what we needed after a long and delayed trip . The meals were plentiful and tasted lovely. The Deep fried squid with chilli and garlic was excellent and cooked to perfection. The deep fried shredded beef was well cooked and there was plenty of sauce. The curries were hot but not mind blowing. We will certainly use them again next time we visit the area The only downfall is they do not deliver

We really enjoy coming for a boba tea from T4, and we tend to choose it over every other bubble tea place in Bournemouth due to location and prices. The drinks are always very tasty and well made. However, sometimes we have walked there to find it closed hours before it is meant to be shut, which is disappointing when we really want a drink! It means we have to go elsewhere for bubble tea, which we don't prefer to do. Perhaps this is due to them running out, but we've experienced it multiple times the past few weeks. When it is open, however, the tea is really nice! The buy 2 get one free and the online loyalty points is a nice added bonus.

This was the best Chinese food we have had since the Chef da China closed. In fact several of the dishes were better than we had at the Chef da China. We had it delivered within 40 minutes on a Saturday evening. Outstanding. David Darts

We haven't had a Chinese takeaway for a while so we did .. and it was delish we had spicy chrispy beef, chicken with hot black bean and garlic, chicken chow mein, beef in oyster sauce, fried rice, crackers and the obligatory sweet and sour chicken balls it was all fresh, very tasty and ready in time the only thing that stopped me giving 5 ā was one of the deliver drivers stood in the shop with no mask as did the 2 girls behind the counter the other driver wore a mask and sanitised his hands as soon as he walked in, we will definitely go there again, it is certainly worth a try š
