Yummy House in Torbay

I ordered food online to be delivered and asked to put it in my safe place as i wont be at home and would like it for later. As I have been out I did not take any calls on my mobile. The order was paid for. Apparently the driver could not find me - but my gate was open and he was clearly to see on CCTV. He drove off without having the order placed in my safe place as requested.So i confronted the restaurant with it and i got shouted and insulted by them. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE - AVOID AT ANY CHANCE The thing is if you cant follow a simple delivery instruction and you just drop it in front of the door if can be eaten by seagulls - like I had before with them ! - or it gets taken by someone else - like it did before as they could not be asked to put it in my safe place where no one would see it and it cant be eaten by seagulls. SIMPLE TO DO ? NOT FOR YUMMY HOUSE -

The food is always fantastic. Always hot & cooked properly. Staff are extremely friendly. In my opinion, the best Chinese in Torquay. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Had meal for four, An amazing amount fo food and all good quality, fed 6 and my breakfast. Top job Nigel

The atmosphere was good but the food was bland and warm not hot! Such a shame as I had high hopes. Never returned or ordered again. It's a take away so can't comment on tables, hand sanitizer, social distancing!!!

A very friendly man delivered our meal, food was average apart from the salt and chilli chips which I have been ordering from various places over the years. These were the worst I've tasted, not only were they so hot we struggled to eat them but they were extremely dry. Very disappointed to not have complimentary prawn crackers either when your spending a lot of money, my little girl cried! We don't want loads but just a small bag with a few would have been nice.
