The best restaurants serving Chinese food in North Somerset South West

The staff are bordering impolite. The food hygiene rating is lower than I would like. The prices are higher than local competitors. They are extremely tight by not handing out free prawn crackers. But this is still my first choice Chinese, as food is dam well tasty. Been ordering for over ten years and not had food poisoning yet!

Good Chinese food and helpful staff

I live just 5 minutes walk away. Yet I will drive 10 minutes away for a decent Chinese rather than order from here. Food is pretty tasteless. Very oily with sparse meat. The meat that is there in small quantities is tough. I first gave it a go 10 years ago and swore would never return. Due to desperate decision to find something quick after extended session in pub next door. I gave it a go again and still continues to be worse Chinese in the local area.

Not since before Lockdown have we used Rickshaw and will be the last. Yes the meal arrived quickly and felt hot while taking it home. That’s were it ended, The food was so Greasy it was disgusting. I have never had such greasy food. The Pancakes were Running in grease. It actually ran over over breadboard and onto the work surface. Same with the Chicken Balls. Fired Rice was dry. We both feel sick after it. Well it goes to say we didn’t eat it.

Me and my boyfriend was looking to have a Chinese who delivered to Portishead we ordered from here and absolutely gorgeous all the food was hot and lovely food, would definitely recommend

Nearly every thursday night we eat here and order the same thing because they do the best chinese curry in weston , Kung Pao chicken and Singapore chow mein good too !!

The food was dry, tasteless and very, very expensive. The chips were re-fries and not good. Certainly won't be ordering from here again.

Ordered a meal after having a sad day due to being at a family funeral and thought i would treat the family to a take away. But after collecting my food I found out I was one dish short so I called back and was told that i would have to pay for anouther dish as she read the order back which was done on such a fast way that you could barely hear what they said. Even though I asked her about the item and she said that it was on there. Discuvering this out i priced up the dishes and had been over charged and when i made a point of that all i got told was that i had an old menu( which couldnt be possible as i picked a new menu up the week before on passing) and that i was in the wrong. Mind you at this time i had my food at home going cold and was treated like i didnt matter. Myself and my partner both work in hospital as a Sous chef and a foh manager both know that the customer is always Wright and where discusseted by the disrespect and attitude given to myself about the situation. So to sumerise I was overcharged for the wrong thing I ordered and was spoke to with no respect. What a bad way to end my upsetting day.

We had a takeaway it was awful so salty we could not eat it rang to complain but was told that thay did not use salt who are thay trying to kid

We ordered 4 items, took them home only to discover that only one was actually what we had ordered. This was on a quite night with only one other customer in the shop. It was too near their closing time to return them. All of the dishes were sickly sweet with no flavour. I could not tell if one was chicken or pork. The pancake rolls (we had not ordered) were tasteless. The chips were soggy and not freshly cooked.
