We had a takeaway it was awful so salty we could not eat it rang to complain but was told that thay did not use salt who are thay trying to kid

This was the first time I had ordered a takeaway from Taste2. I ordered King Prawn Chow Mein. It was the worst chow mein I’ve ever tasted. The onions were badly burnt and this burnt flavour tarnished the whole meal. It was also heavily covered with soy sauce and extremely salty. Vile!! My partner ordered the crispy aromatic duck which was definitely not crispy whatsoever, just tasteless, very greasy with rubbery undercooked skin. The spare ribs were okay, just about edible, again very heavily salted. The £45 cost for a takeaway meal for two was daylight robbery & not worth the money by any stretch ch of the imagination. I shall not be ordering from this establishment ever again !!

Very disappointing. The food received bore no resemblance to the description. Poor quality meat was used in the battered balls, it was pink & undercooked. The satay should have contained pineapple, crushed peanuts & cucumber according to the description. There were no peanuts. It contained very few vegetables or fruit. It was an expensive meal. Again I said no prawn crackers & prawn crackers were nodelivered.

Very friendly staff food was piping hot and tasted delicious great selection and even was given prawn crackers

Good taste and foods were fresh and pangpang hot! And service is very nice and the counter girl is friendly

Ordered the House special chow mein, after a few mouthfuls just found it greasy, not much flavour, great size chicken balls but again too greasy and the taste just wasn't right, the curry sauce was absolutely shocking, I could literally slice it, it was so thick we just couldn't eat it, the mini spring rolls were nice, I will not order from here again

Ordered from this Chinese, the food looked lovely but unfortunately it was so salty I couldn't taste anything but the salt. It made it very unpleasant to eat, so I didn't eat much of it. A waste of money!

We have had no problems with any foods ordered. They arrive before they say, piping hot and the dishes we choose are always good (quite often the duck) We use them frequently and our favourite dishes are NOT bland. Love the mixed starter ( though the seaweed is a little sweet). questions on this site refer to a restaurant and this is a(n excellent) takeaway

We ordered from here and boy were we underwhelmed! Extremely bland food, the chicken balls weren't crispy and not filled with much chicken. Lots more choice in Weston, we shall not be using again.

Taste2 Chinese Takeaway on Severn Road; you may want to ensure your staff wear face masks!! Warning to customers; not one member of staff on the counter, delivery drivers going in and out the shop, or the guy that handed the food from the kitchen was wearing a mask on Friday night!

My son rang earlier today 13th June to book a delivery for 7-45 After 3 phone calls and no explanation except to say it’s on its way the food arrived at 8-55 ( I did get a sorry on the last call) My son had booked this as a virtual anniversary meal to share with his girlfriend in London (her meal arrived on time) sadly to save hers being ruined she had to go ahead and eat hers .... what should have been a special evening for them was spoilt The food was average so definitely not worth the wait Shocking service

Sorry heard some great reviews..owned my own fish n chip shop so my wife was disappointed at her fish ..frozen probably..chips were tasteless ..my chicken in my curry was very stringy which indicates it's been defrosted..one of the traits of frozen chicken..it was so stringy l had to bin it..rice was good as were the onions..curry sauce was also very good...very disappointed... staff were very friendly..sorry 3/10

The worst Chinese I have every had the noodles were burnt the satay sauce looked like curry sauce but didn’t taste of either soggy chicken balls and the chicken was tough AVOID

Waited 3 hours for our food tonight. Placed our food order at 19.10 and was told it would be with us by 20.30. Called up after the 1.5 hours only to hear staff swearing in the background and to be given the address of another take away, (wow did I feel valued). I was eventaully advised that our food would be another hour max. Waited the extra hour and tried to call. No answer on the phone, so I went to the shop. Staff attitude was shocking! Food was delivered whilst I was at the shop. Eventually sat down to eat at 22.40 from ordering at 19.10. NEVER again! We may have given this place anothet change if the staff had shown any sign of being sorry! I am only giving 1 star because Trip adviser will not allow me to put no stars.

Normally ok. But ordered At 7.05 over 3 hours later no food and no updates. Just eat can’t get through not can we . Don’t use as expensive as well

Ordered at 5 turned up at 9:38 with no prawn cracker and mild warm. Very disappointing should of asked for a refund

Awful Customer Service Ordered as a treat and we wholly understand the lockdown situation but the delivery time 2hours later no delivery time update, just eat say that's the restaurants decision

Food was cold. Prawn toasts greasy. Satay was bland. More expensive Chinese takeaway than anywhere else and definitely not worth the money.

This is the worst take away I have ever had, the rice was stodgy and the chicken balls were tough , most of it ended up in the bin and I will not be using this take away again.

This is the only Chinese place I would go to, however the wait for my food is between an hour and a half-2 hours when it says half hour wait

After many years of trying to find a takeaway Chinese as it was when we were younger, we tried taste2eat , we were really happy with the food especially the Bbq ribs and definitely the best chop suey we have had in many years ,.Great customer service and delivery time accurate.

10 enormous chicken balls in batter equal to at least 30 or more from most chinese restaurants, very nice thick s&s sauce.House special chop suey, magnificent. Large pieces of assorted meats, bean sprouts etc.Rost duck in orange sauce once again a very large portion and very tasty.Diana's black bean dish was also enjoyed.Hugely recommended takeaway, with a very fast delivery.

We have had the delivery to the door on several occasions and have never been disappointed. The portion sizes are more than adequate and always as advertised and delicious. There is nothing negative to say about them.

Recently moved to this part of town. As we were busy unpacking we decided to get a take away. Orderder and received within 45 min. The food was exceptional and the portions were amazing. Not the cheapest but saved us cooking and cleaning up.

Firstly the positive. On occasion we have had food delivered from Taste and compared to the Wok on Drove Road, the meat is better and not like "tinned meat".

Inedible and tasteless, total waste of £25. If you can't cook chips properly, you have no chance with something with more than 2 ingredients, it takes a lot to move me to write a bad review, but this is probably the worst food I have ever been served.

Amazing food, very tasty, I ordered from here after reading the reviews on here, I have to say I only saw a sign for 4* rating dated from Feb 18, I will be ordering again

Rated zero by Food Standards Agency, at end of Nov 2017. You might want to wait for a reinspection before ordering from here.

Llamé para pedir una entrega. Pedimos de antemano si era brindar a mi zona esta noche como el tráfico estaba mal y tenía una respuesta que sí estarán, pero la espera será de una hora. Y hora y 45 minutos y todavía no había señal para que llamó para averiguar dónde se dijeron que nuestra orden es, sin duda, en camino y en breve estará con nosotros. Ellos sonó de nuevo 45 minutos más tarde como nuestro pedido aún no está aquí y me dijeron que no recibir nuestro pedido, ya que el conductor de la entrega no llegar a nosotros. Tuve gente redonda y tenía una gran orden que luego me dijeron que es absolutamente desagradable en mis ojos. No habrá jamás con ellos.

Nunca me he sentido tan obligado a escribir una crítica tan mordaz, pero debo! !

Normalmente había una muy buena comida de sabor 2, pero la última noche fue horrible! Comida maridos era totalmente insípida, rollitos de primavera era incomible y mi curry estaba lleno de cebollas y no mucho más, lleno de grasa. Estado despierto mucho en la noche y ahora la sensación de estar muy náuseas. No molesta en el futuro!

Me he dado anteriormente esta revisión cinco estrellas para llevar y siempre quedamos impresionados con la comida y el servicio. Me he cortado por mi para llevar medio semanal debido al aumento de peso, pero la edad - había sido enferma por una semana y queríamos algo que me atrajese. Mi primera impresión fue muy positiva como la todavía el hombre que me atendio fue muy amable y servicial y el lugar estaba limpio. Pedí un camarón chow mein y patatas fritas. Llegué a casa y me impresionó ver cómo la gran bolsa de patatas era. Comí un par como la pava duros y eran absolutamente terrible. Tenían la textura más extraño rancio y prácticamente no gusto. Nunca he comido tal chip horrible. Deposité el resto y probamos el chow mein y estaba bien, así que comimos casi la mitad. Parecía incluso menos edificante al día siguiente así que puse en la papelera. No sé si este llevar ha cambiado su cocinar o sus ingredientes proveedor pero comida de anoche fue tan horrible que no volveré.

This place was quite good a few years ago, but now it is a poor Chinese takeaway. Very large portions, but everything is so bland it is virtually inedible. Not cheap considering the amount of other Chinese takeaways around.

Este llevar cambió de manos muchas veces, pero es actualmente un gusto 2 y sirve comida china muy agradable. La decoración es agradable y hay un acuario para admirar mientras espera su comida para cocinar. Las porciones son generosas, así que una de gambas arroz frito no me para las tres comidas. Mi compañero comimos la mitad de su plato de cerdo en una sentada y fue seriamente completo para el resto de la noche!

Esta fue nuestra segunda comida para llevar sabor 2 y era tan bueno como el primero unas pocas semanas antes. La comida es absolutamente precioso y nos recuerda el viejo lotus y llevar una cruz entre el restaurante de Saigón. La comida es muy sabrosa, no grasienta y muy auténtico. No puedo recomendar lo suficiente y no dudaría en volver de nuevo!

Spare ribs fatty with hardly any meat, and the prawns in breadcrumbs tasted more like chicken,the only thing that tasted ok was the prawn crackers

Always good value, nice tasting food. Prompt free Delivery. Order over £50 and get a free bottle of wine!!

We live locally and use this takeaway quite often. It is not the cheapest, but the food always tastes fresh, and the staff are friendly. It's worth the little bit extra.

Very good Chinese dishes with light sauces not gluey and clinging as some other Chinese. Shame only takeaway.

Had takeaway last night, Shrimp Curry and Fried rice and BBQ Ribs. Curry was totally tasteless and BBQ Ribs lacked any BBQ sauce. If I had lived nearer would have returned it. Will not be revisiting

Friday night and I had not thought about my dinner. ... Was pushed for time and so I ordered a chicken chow mein.... bloody tasty. I find chow meins are sometimes to salty or to saucy. This one was perfect very tasty and perfectly cooked. I use this take away often and im never disappointed. Really love the beef with tomatoes. Friendly counter service as well.

Phoned for a dlivery and was told they were too busy to do any more deliveries... @ 9.30 on a satirday night!maybe employ more drivers, the wkend after you have put fliers through doors! NUMPTYS!

Really tasty food swiftly delivered. Just the job when you have returned from the pub. The king prawn and peppers with black bean sauce is a special favourite of mine and my wife loves the duck with orange sauce.

This Chinese takeaway has recently opened possibly in the last year and I have had a meal delivery about a month previously. Because the service was good then I chose to do the same again. The food cooked just as like it and as with the first time could not be faulted. "Taste2Eat" is called so by the very nature of what the food is: A great taste whatever menu item you select. The Starter Spare ribs in several flavours of sauce are wonderful as are Spring Rolls with duck meat in them, Yummy! The Sweet & Sour King prawns Hong Kong style is exactly how I like it. Mixed sweet peppers with Beef and Black bean sauce is so tasty! A most enjoyable meal and one to repeat again soon. The order was placed at 5pm on Monday 30th September and was delivered exactly as promised at 5:45pm. The package was delivered by car and was contained in a "hot box" so was piping hot and perfectly sent in individual plastic food containers. Please note that the Takeaway is not open on Tuesday evenings. There is another Chinese Restaurant in nearby Sandbay where meals can also be ordered via telephone as well as a meal seated in the restaurant itself. The delivery charge is very acceptable at £1 within a 3-mile distance from the Taste2.ILOVEMYFOOD~~~~~~~~~~~~
