The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Cherwell South East

I Love Mr Rice Chinese, always friendly and helpful, the food is lush. Best in Banbury I’m just sad there not open on Mondays coz I really need Chinese now!! 😃❤️

February 2023. Had the Prawn Chow Mein and Pancake Rolls. The Chow Mein tasted fine but the Pancake Rolls tasted and smelt a little different from the times I've had before. After 2 hours, I was sick and fell ill to it. Unfortunate as I normally buy from here but because of this, I don't think I will again. :( Updating as I'm seeing you were hit with a low hygeine score recently. This food poisoning took me 2 weeks to recover from. You should have taken my review as a warning sign because this was the worst food poisoning I had to deal with.

Use to be lovely food, quality really gone down, seems like ingredients have been changed to cheaper and the amout of meat in dishes not nice. Use to be pork pieces, not pork mince in the sweet and sour pork balls, won't use again

The food was terrible. Had to recooked the squid at home. Way to salty and king prawns noodles tasteless. It's the second time will never go there again

Would be 5* as it’s mostly really good - with the sole exception of the lemon sauce which must have artificial sweeteners in it - it tastes so chemically that I couldn’t eat it. Thought it might be a one-off problem but the 2nd time it was even worse. Just won’t be able to have my favourite dish here any more.

Absolute rip off, portions were tiny, meat was over cooked and food was cold when delivered. Never again, worst Chinese I’ve had in Bicester.

I’ve never had a problem with this takeaway in about 20 visits over the years. Premises are basic, food is tasty. I’ve always phoned the order though then collected 20 mins later, never had to wait for long.
