The atmosphere is good. Dine-in is a good choice and takeaway is not recommended as the sushi/sashimi is made upon receiving order and best to be eaten after they are served. Since they are not prepared in advance, the freshness will be compromised for takeaway order. Be prepared to wait as great food needs time to prepare. Worth the wait. The other foods on the menu are equally tasty. Must try them yourself. Great value for money.

Ordered a chinese meal for 1 like Sandra Bullock, The time and delivery was amazing. But....what happens to the mongolian lamb and crispy salted beef? The mongolian lamb didnt taste like mongolian LAMB. Did the Chef have a night off or did you think I wouldn't notice?! Saddened by this day. The two fortune cookies were a nice touch.

Wouldn't use again have seafood intolerance and put it into the noodles even though requested on the notes. Asked if anything they can do asked manager and said nothing can do, great customer service won't be using them again.

Great service and food which you can book on line. Was told it would take 50 minutes and then delayed by another 40 minutes straight after. However thing that was probably an error as arrived in 40 minutes. Food is good if not great

I'm annoyed we've only just discovered their Japanese menu now. It honestly rivals some of the sushi we've had in Japan. The Sashimi and Nigiri are prepared amazingly. We can't recommend it enough! Also the chilli, onion, garlic fried rice.. sooo good!

This was the first time we had used this newly discovered Takeaway. A great selection of dishes, the portions are well priced and large. The only complaint is it took over an hour to be delivered. You could argue it was worth the wait.

We have used this Chinese for a few years but haven't been during Winter 23/24. On getting our takeaway home it was obvious that portions have got much smaller ( sign of the times). My vegetables in black bean sauce had hardly any sauce and it was bland and tasteless. My husband's meal beef and green peppers in black bean sauce was similarly bland tasteless. Such a shame. We won't be using Sun Wah again

It annoys me to have to leave this review as this restaurant used to be so good but it has gone down hill rapidly within the past 6 months. Too many times have things been missed off our order, with us only realising once back at home. The food is now mediocre at best with poor quality meat being used and varying amounts depending on which day of the week you order. Be prepared to have your order accepted by the restaurant and receiving a pick up time, but when you arrive you can bet it won’t even of been started. This is not the first time - yet the silly excuses come pouring out again and again. If you are looking for a reliable Chinese restaurant with top quality food, this is no longer the one to go for. I hope they sort it out and get back on track, but until they do I would avoid at all costs to avoid disappointment and wasting your money. Also £6.90 for crispy seaweed… come on!

We decided to visit Shan Shui during a shopping trip to Bicester Village to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Instead of our usual grab-and-go from Pret, we thought we’d enjoy a nice sit-down meal given the occasion. Since the restaurant has been around for years and we’re big fans of Chinese cuisine, we thought it would be a great choice. Unfortunately, we were very wrong. We ordered a few starters and some dim sum, and the food was absolutely terrible. My wife actually had to spit out the chicken dim sum because it was so bad, something we’ve never had to do at any Chinese restaurant before. The taste was awful, and it left us questioning how Bicester Village could allow such a poor-quality restaurant to occupy such a prime location, especially in a shopping centre with limited dining options. We ended up returning the food and leaving without ordering anything else, as we didn’t want to let the bad experience ruin my wife’s birthday further. We didn’t even complain because it was meant to be a special day, but I wouldn’t recommend anyone waste their time or money here. We’ll stick to Pret or Itsu next time, and I strongly advise everyone to do the same.
