Absolute rip off, portions were tiny, meat was over cooked and food was cold when delivered. Never again, worst Chinese I’ve had in Bicester.

Both the chowmein meals had more noodles and little meat, we don't mind paying more but don't cut down on portions. Everything else was very nice.

Very disappointed in the portion sizes, plus the roast duck with pineapple was very disappointing. A container of pineapple and hardly 4 slices of duck.

ordered food at 17:55 got told delivery would be between 19:05-19:25 rang them as my order still hasn't arrived and the person on the phone was absolutely useless won't be ordering again

Food was awful. Ordered beef and got burnt pork. Me and my partner took a few mouthfuls and couldn't eat it. Straight into the bin. Such a waste. Will NOT be ordering again.

The Chinese here is excellent my mothers favourite she talks about it all the time a treat for us with the cost but always A* both meat and veggie options so fresh and sauces nice favourite sweet and sour thick and sweet not runny or vinegary and the wok sauce is really good all the veg always super fresh. Everything always perfect hot and delivery dead on time

The food was awful. It all tasted the same.. and the chow mein was literally a puddle of soy sauce with noodles in, hardly any meat - defo not a chow mein sauce. So so bad!

Order over 25 minutes late from max estimated time. Just eat was displaying a delivered - enjoy your food message over 30 minutes before the food actually arrived! Most unfortunate as we have often ordered from here but this has put us off a bit as the food was rapidly cooling, not acceptable, particularly with rice and cooling squid is not fun! Called the restaurant but they seemed confused and just said that the fault was with just eat…..? Not sure how that works since, presumably, they know what time the order leaves their kitchen. Definitely unacceptable.

Most of the meals were really nice,just the meal for 1 had hardly any meat and very dry.

Food was gross. Burnt, dry and funny taste. You can’t burn the food and just throw sauce on it to cover it up. Half a duck? Don’t make me laugh, more like half a budgie. Will never order ever again. Yuck

The food was almost cold when it arrived so had to put it in the microwave to warm up. The chips were undercooked.

Food was poor compared to previous time. The beef was so dry and hard was not pleasant. The sauce with the prawns was very salty and lacked any other flavour. The sweet and sour sauce was only half a pot. For £32 I expected better

Excellent Chinese best in Bicester. Very fresh. Tofu chow mein delish. Best sweet and sour sauce. Always says delivery time 1hr 30 but delivered in 20-25 mins. Will continue to order from here.

Just experienced the worst Chinese I have ever eaten. Crispy shredded beef tasted like it had been deep fried three to four times over, could only taste burnt batter. Salt & pepper squid was chewy like it had been over cooked Chicken chow mien was dosed in soy sauce and after tasting it I can see why! Will never been ordering from here again!

I've purchased special fried rice yesterday and the food was gone bad already I wanted to return the food but the restaurant was close, I'll take it back as soon as they open, very disgusting, and on top of that I've been trying to repost the issue but ofcourse the option saying the taste wasn't good is not working so I had to write here. Definitely getting a refund.

Do not order from this take away!!!! The food was terrible!!! Chicken tasted like it had been cooked earlier and microwaved! Was not editable. Pad Thai was just undercooked pink chicken in very greasy rice noodles no ingredients that makes an actual pad Thai! I actually complained and asked for a refund. They said they will only refund if they collected the food back, which they did. However after contacting just eat they have only refunded me for one meal when they said they would refund for 3 which they did collect!! They told me to wait 5 days for the refund and to take it up with just eat if it’s not in my account, which I have and just eat have told me they have a 72 hour policy so can’t do anything about it! So sunrise have got away with only refunding me back one meal and taking away the other meals!!! Ridiculous!!!! I spent £38 in total on food They collected and am only receiving £7.50 back! Not to mention the £8.50 delivery charge to come 5 mins up the road!!! Worst take away and service ever!

Food delivered on time and hot, but the quality varied. The lamb and onions, and chicken and sweetcorn soup were delicious. However, the grilled meat dumplings were mediocre at best, and the chicken and char sui pork chow mein was inedible - the noodles were overcooked and mushy, and all we could taste was oil. The chilli and garlic chicken with chips was flavoured nicely, but the quality of both the chicken and chips was not great. Probably wouldn't order again, especially as it was not cheap.

They cancelled our 1st order, made us re-order, delivered 30 min before they agreed .... and when it arrived all the food was over-cooked. Really low quality Service and Food .... beware !!!

If I am honest I expected much better than this. The mixed starters or the hors D’Oeuvers as they call them (Don’t make me laugh) they were swimming yes swimming in sweet chilli sauce with a rather shrivelled piece of lettuce on the top, lettuce?! Are you joking me ?? The spring rolls and prawn toast had clearly just come out of chef mic and been nuked back to the Stone Age. The rice was much more stodgy than it should have been and looked very brown and to add insult to injury it was tasteless the only plus was the chow mien but if I am paying 30£ for a chow mien I would appreciate prior warning before being shafted.

Drink i ordered wasn't delivered

Moved to the area and remembered how good this place was. So my first order arrived but it took exactly 2 hours to arrive. Possibly forgivable except the fact the delivery driver have no apology and the whole order was cold. So naturally I complained n Justeat with no response. So slightly annoyed but within 10 days ordered again thinking I am sure it will be ok this time. Only to find out sunrise rejected my order! So I had to go somewhere else. I should have learnt my lesson but went again in person this time but...due to coronavirus no orders on walkin. Yep that's why I called up but no answer. I was rudely told I had to phone or use the app. For obvious reasons I said I will go someone else. And I will never return. Food excellent service terrible!

Delivery was delayed no reason given. Main was good but the dessert was awful. They were fritters and were as hard as rock, they could not be eaten. We won't order them again.

The delivery was very quick, possibly because we live a short walk away haha! The food was very delicious, i'm glad i chose this place to finally treat ourselves!! I absolutely reccomend this lovely place!

Such a shame. It took 2 hrs exactly for the food to arrive. Which meant it was 35 late. After a long wait anyway this isnt acceptable. No apology just handed me my food and said thank you. Food was cold room for a £4.50 delivery charge for cold food and a 2 hr wait ? Not good. Food was excellent but service terrible. If appreciate a refund please

The chicken we had literally tasted rotten, I’ve never in my life had chicken taste the way ours did. I hope it was just a bad batch but I won’t be ordering from here again just because of the bad taste it left

We have has takeaway from Sunrise since lockdown in March and it has always been very nice, however yesterday food was awful. Chicken was off, smelt awful and entire meal had to be thrown away, prawn crackers were soft and stale. Very very disappointed.

The order was cancelled. It was ordered at 4pm for delivery at 6pm and message at 5.20 informing the order was cancelled. This is not the first time this has happened from sunrise. Just eat should remove them from their site if they can not deliver!!

I will definitely not be ordering again, the food was cold, not fresh and no taste at all. Ordered at 17:26, 12 min later got the text saying it is on the way... and the restaurant opened at 17:15. Definitely left from the other day... plus £4.50 delivery?!
