The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Oldham North West

This is the first time ordering from this restaurant. I made an order for a takeaway online. They had an offer, £10.99 for curry, rice and bhajis buy one get one free! I ordered my husband’s chicken tikka masala but realised they had no vegetarian option for myself. I opted for chicken korma and in the notes explained I was veggie and could they swap out the chicken for paneer ( I checked that they had this on the menu first and only assumed it would be ok as it would actually be cheaper for them than meat). I submitted the order, waited 20 mins and they called to say it had to be chicken, they couldn’t swap it for paneer. I was completely astonished! I asked what option was there for a vegetarian, they said I could order the paneer curry separately but couldn’t use the offer. So vegetarians aren’t catered for on the offer! Safe to say, we will never return! Why would a vegetarian not be able to enjoy the same offer as a meat eater, clearly haven’t considered everyone’s dietary requirements. Poor business accumen!

Excellent food, best Chinese takeaway I’ve had in years.

I recently ordered shredded chicken from this takeaway, expecting a delicious, traditional dish. Unfortunately, what arrived was quite disappointing. The “shredded” chicken was anything but—each piece was massive and far from what I had anticipated. This lack of attention to detail was frustrating, as I specifically ordered shredded chicken expecting the fine texture typical of this dish. The food arrived in under 30 minutes, which, while quick, made it evident that quality wasn’t the priority. Rather than feeling like a meal made with care, it seemed hastily thrown together to meet a delivery window. Additionally, the chips were not the traditional chippy-style you’d expect from a Chinese takeaway. They lacked that familiar taste and texture, adding to the overall letdown of the meal. Considering the poor quality and lack of authenticity, I don’t plan on ordering from here again.

very friendly staff Fresh quality ingredients used home delivery service, average prices use it regularly also now open Tuesday, the new owners have a fantastic chef , tried many dishes always Fresh and hot and always busy, and called by your name as I'm a regular customer, having a disability, many times they will tell me to stay in car and order brought to me, I hope they get the support of the local community, truthfully there prices are fair considering size of the portion,

It was worth the wait, great food and at least contacted us to say they were running a little late. Would definitely order again

Take-away - ordered through deliveroo with a follow up conversation explaining what to exclude from the order… mushrooms due to dietary requirements. Order arrived with this still in the dish and when contacted again, there was nothing they could do - it appeared too much trouble. Offered money off next order but this would not allow us to have the meal this evening which was over 30 pound for ribs, beef curry, fried rice and chips. The ribs as a starter were poor. Overall it was an awful experience with poor customer service. The rapid decline of this establishment is not good. I could say more but I will keep it to the point.

The cake I ordered and picked up was 2/10. The decoration was good but the cake is terrible. The cupcake is hard and doesn’t taste nice. The main cake which was decorated nicely, half of the cake was butter icing and the cake had jam on the inside which i didnt order for. This cake costed me £20 and it wasnt worth it at all! My journey to get there wasnt the best and to pick up such a horrible cake isn’t pleasant at all. The fact that this was my birthday cake even makes it worse. My guests were very disappointed just like i was. Never again!

Just had to throw away most of our £40 order as the food was largely inedible. I don't know if someone swapped out the salt for sugar but everything tasted too sweet, especially the chicken and sweetcorn soup and the vermicelli. A real shame as the menu was put through the door and definitely piqued our interest, but there is no point in having a good set of dishes if they taste like this. We will not make the mistake of ordering again.

The food used to be amazing.New years eve I had a tasteless meal which I forgave it was very busy.Then tonight , chicken satay , very bland , not really in a sauce.The barbecue ribs dry but at least had flavour, though at nearly£10 for a side order I was expecting wow.The chips were cold when I got home so not making that mistake again. I will give this place one more go , maybe it was a bad night, wrong food choice.I am hoping the wow factor returns.Please review your satay dish , hardly any sauce and looks bland, nothing like the photo on the wall
