Parking can be difficult at times, and the staff is very helpful and friendly.

First time ordering from the willow,food was hot and fresh,mum loved the vermicelli,and the special chow mein was delicious,my go to takeaway from now on,will definitely be ordering again,well done chef at the willow Chinese takeaway, absolutely love the food thankyou 😊❤️we had our food delivered,and it was on time and piping hot and fresh, would definitely recommend delivery,we are firm fans of willow Chinese takeaway,we won't order from anywhere else now, delicious food ❤️❤️

I’ve lived in Oldham for 15 years now and it was only 2 months ago, I discovered The Willow. For the last 2 months, my partner and I have o ly eaten Chinese food from this takeaway, and this takeaway alone simply because, nothing else compares to it! We always order a mixture of dishes to share between us and our go to meals are: - crispy beef in sweet chilli sauce - king prawns in OK sauce - special chow mein - sweet and sour chicken - salt & pepper chicken - salt & pepper chips - fried rice - soft noodles - meat spring rolls - prawn toast (Obviously we don’t order all that same time) We have never once had a bad experience here. Every single time we’ve ordered, the food has been incredible and we always say to each other “nothing beats a Willow!” And I stand by it. We won’t go anywhere else for Chinese food now… The Willow has our hearts and our stomachs ♥️ PS: we never order for delivery even though we live almost 3 miles away. We will always collect therefore, it’s not sitting in a car for multiple drops getting cold and soggy. I highly recommend you get up and go collect it (if you’re able) if you want the best quality.

Shredded chicken hard like a stone tasteless, worst I ever ate , noodles ok but overcooked , beef in been green pepper sauce quite nice , quick delivery as well .

Very poor. Chicken rice very dry and tasted of oil. The salt n pepper chicken very tough and dry . Overall not good .

Last time I went I was ill but after a year I gave it another go, big mistake Bland tasteless food Used to be the best in failsworth with previous owners now pretty disgusting

Really disappointed in my order tonight this used to be a lovely chippy my fish was dry batter rock hard chips cold and soggy all the bags were wet through sausages was full of Greece it was like it was rushed together but waited 1 hour Order Number 241243

This chippy has really gone down hill been ordering for over 20 years but last year or so it's quite terrible. Tonight had 2 cheese and onion pies one was ok but other wasn't even luke warm was ice cold filling. Will not be ordering again from here.

The food was cold. The chow me in and Singapore vermicelli had barely any chicken. I also spoke to the lady with regards to the sui Mai as it was so miniature 4 pieces for £3.50. She was extremely rude and told me that it was the same supplier if we wanted a refund we would have to give back all the food. Ridiculous! We had already eaten the fingernails of Sui Mai that didn’t even touch the tip of my tongue. If they had been willing to make amends I wouldn’t be writing this but unfortunately they chose to ignore their customers! Never again!

Been going here for years but don’t think will be returning what was once was best chippy in the Oldham area as gone down hill last 3 times we have been noticed portion size is terrible literally 4 spoons of rice and about 15 chips and for the price it’s a joke noticed bigger trays with less food

I’ve just bin in the willow chippy and that miserable women who works there has a serious attitude problem I will not be going in there ever again I walked straight out and went to another chippy she needs sacking immediately seems im not the only one looking at the reviews

Been coming here ages foods amazing always hoping i get the smiley lady but one particular worker (not here all the time ) shes very rude bad attitude to everyone iv actually just turned around and walked out without ordering anything ! Shame really she let's your chippy down !

Normally love this chippy been coming for years but my last few orders noticed the portion sizes have reduced dramatically. Especially when it’s only potatoes and rice surely for the price they charge they could Fill the box to the top. It’s literally been half full last few orders. Not happy about this at all. I’ve eat my tea and I am still hungry. Sorry willow always rates you as a 5 but had to drop this due to portion size. I hope you take this into account. At first I thought it was just a one off but it’s been three times now.

Actually been brought up with this chippy. Went here today and mortified at their prices but not also that their service, lady with short black hair is very rude. Went to the other chippy not too far better prices and good food also

After visting our local pub thought felt a bit hungry so decided to get a chip muffin each. Living only a few minutes away from the willow chippy got home to find the muffins had barley been filled with chips probably about 10-14 chips altogether and it was stone cold in fact when i had rewarmed it in the microwave and finished eating it was still hungry. I went to this chippy a couple of years ago and wasnt altoghether happy with the food i ordered then, but thought im only ordering chips. Only went tonight because it was raining and didnt want to walk to our usual chippy, would rather have just gone home and made something myself. Doesnt even deserve the one star but wouldnt let me post otherwise

One of the staff in this place very rude because I could not understand her started shouting at me! I just cancelled the order and walked out I got the same order from a different place delivered and cheaper. Happy days won’t be going back there again. Make sure you can understand broken English if you go there and save yourself some abuse.

After using this takeaway for the last five years foods always been amazing !!!! Ordered on Friday night very disappointed with food quality very dry and not much flavour !!!!

The willow Chinese is the best Chinese around the Oldham food is out of this world

Been looking for decent Chinese chippy since I moved from Manchester to Oldham omg this chippy is like home love it chips are perfect. Finally proper curry sauce! And prawn fried rice was perfect so generous with the prawns too. Very fresh this is my new chippy will not go elsewhere!! Highly recommend!!

Don't really leave reviews on chip shops but I was so disappointed on the second visit I have to leave a review. After waiting almost 20 minutes in an empty shop I returned home (3mins away) and found my vegetable foo yung made up of 80% onion 2 small slices of mushroom and 4 small bits of green pepper held together with a dark brown omelette. Tasteless and only just luke warm, also the salt and pepper chips had clearly been cooked earlier in the day and reheated! I certainly won't be returning! Best avoid and spend your money elsewhere! Overall opinion, Horrible!

Takin too many phone calls while making customers wait 20 mins on top of their 25 mins said time for collection ...chicken chow main was dry noodles n 5 pieces of chicken ...no sauce ..no veg nothing ...overpriced n shocking customer service ..unless u got an hr to kill n not get what u ordered go for it ..personally will never use the place again!!

I really love the willow and hate to have to rate it 2 stars but after phoning up about part of my order missing then being called a liar is just plain rude. then the woman told me she would let me have it this one time but next time I will have to pay extra. not only did it arrive cold but the large chips turned out to be small chips that I had to dish out between 3 children. I've had several dealings with the woman in the past and each time she's just been awful.

We called in this delightful takeaway on the way home, just on the off chance. The premises was clean and modern, the staff were lovely and attentive, they accept card payments and the food was exceptionally good. Best salt and pepper chips I’ve ever had.

Food is lovely.. but telephone manner is appalling definitely need to work on that. Ive ordered so many times but not tonight had to put the phone down because you thought it was acceptable to sigh down the phone because you herd me wrong and talked over me

My favourite chippy EVER! its 20 minutes from my home but Ive gone over twice this year and taken my food to Daisy Nook. I discovered this 14years ago as it was near my place of work, it's not changed, still as delicious as I remember. Not tried the Chinese yet, but don't know how I feel about eating that in a park 😂

Got to be the worst chippy in failsworth, chips are anemic with no taste, fried rice is stodgy and hardly fried and it's well over priced to most chippy's in failsworth. Save your money and go elsewhere.

I have been eating from different Thai and Chinese takeaways for over 40 years and I can honestly say nothing I have tasted in the past has ever tasted like the food from the Willow. The quality, the taste and the variety are the best I have ever experienced. The staff are very helpful and the customer service is one of the best I've had the pleasure to encounter. They all deserve recognition especially when you consider they all kept going when alot of the country was going into meltdown. I would recommend this great establishment to everyone. David.

Me & my family have ordered here a number of times over the past few years and every time the service and quality of the food has been exceptional! Last time we ordered a variety of dishes and each of them was tasty & well presented. Can’t recommend The Willow enough 🙌

Great food, especially the siu mai. Also the staff are friendly, recently came in for an order which was a little late and they offered me a free scallop whilst I waited. A really nice gesture.

Best Chinese takeaway in the area, and I've tried most of them. If you want it spicy this is one of the only Chinese's that will actually do it. Love the sweet and sour with extra chillis. Don't get Chinese takeaway often but when we do we go here. Occasionaly when we've (the family) decided we want Chinese we call this place and if they're shut we have to order from elsewhere and we're always disappointed because it's never as good.

It's okay, on par with any other Chinese. Very very busy at weekend so expect to wait

My Singapore chow mien was delicious but had a long wait. The soft noodles and been sprouts looked overdone and had too much soy sauce. Daughter loved them though! The starters were good too. Overall the food is very good if not a bit pricey they charge for delivery too! Most places give you free prawn crackers but we got charged. It’s a review and they could easily get 5stars but delivery charge and no free prawn crackers and it’s a 4 rating
