The best restaurants serving Chinese food in County Durham North East

Called in Saturday night, ordered four various dishes, and as always, absolutely first class. I live in the next village that has two Chinese takeaways that don't even come close, worth the travel every time. Everyone enjoyed, and we will definitely return.

Al darnos cuenta de que no tendríamos tiempo para una comida antes de tomar el tren a casa desde Durham encontramos este gran lugar en el camino de regreso a la estación. Buenas opciones calientes vegetarianas katsu calabaza, tofu o coliflor o tofu picante servido con arroz o fideos. Fuimos por el katsu de calabaza grande para compartir. También tomamos unos rollos de sushi vegetarianos prefabricados (pepino tofu y pimiento rojo), así como un maki de pepino de la nevera. Ambos venían con sobres de salsa de soja, jengibre encurtido, wasabi y 3 vainas de edamame, así como una pequeña olla de plástico para la salsa de soja. Una deliciosa cena para llevar para completar nuestro día en Durham. Definitivamente necesitas destacar en trip advisor que ofreces buenas opciones vegetarianas y veganas.

Ordered a meal for 4,and wow. Great value for money, very tasty. Delivered promptly. Very happy with the meal, we will definitely be eating there again. Thanks chef. Great food.

Severe food poisoning after having Char Siu Pork last night.... DCC Environment health department informed

Ordered last night, food arrived in less than 20 mins. One of the items was missing so I rang and they came straight back out with the missing food. It was all piping hot and delicious x

Amazing, always has been always will be. He doesn't do delivery but doesn't need to as people travel from all over to go to this place

We had a party of 14 people a couple were late however the meal was delivered swiftly. Fillet beef was very chewy.very disappointed with the other meals served Szechuan beef resembled soup with wafer thin beef slices. The serving staff had no manners barged past for plates when we were finished catching one of our party. What’s gone wrong with the place? it’s unfortunately gone down hill and relying on its once mighty reputation. We sadly won’t be back

Ordered Cantonese Ribs (which were nice and get the food 2*) but the fried rice was mushy, chips still cold/uncooked in middle, peeking chicken and king pawn was inedible (you could tell by smell and texture of food it really wasn't fresh... and I'm not chancing old pawns and chicken) and even the pawn crackers were discoloured with brown tinge from age...

Please make proper fried rice, not boiled soggy rice!!! The rice just killed the whole dish. Won’t be ordering again. No card payment as well, only cash 🙄

No sé qué ha pasado pero la comida ha cambiado. No es tan bonito como solía ser, y platos han cambiado. Es una pena, siempre ha sido mi favorito chino.

Partner and I ordered takeaway (for delivery) Food came within 30 mins and was all spot on but 2 cans of pop we had ordered were missing. Called back up and manager said he would send someone out right away with them. Came within 10 minutes and the delivery lady is also lovely!😊

We use this takeaway at least twice a week.The portions are exactly right,not too much,the curry selections are,in our opinion,the tastiest in the area.The batter balls are perfect,the yung chow fried rice is excellent.would definitely recommend.

Got special curry and chips tasteless absolute rubbish won't be going back

just had an absolutely lovely chow mein from here, ready for collection very quickly, full of flavour, good value, and absolutely delicious!

Very disappointed with my meal tonight. Special chow mein the pork was very tough very little beef and 2 prawns. Won’t be returning any time soon.
