This restaurant has now moved to Northways Parade. We went for dinner and it was like being at the Faulty Towers restaurant. They were short staffed. We ordered wine and water. We waited ages then they came back to explain they only did a bottle which was what we wanted. We then got white wine when we ordered red and as for the water, the glasses turned up but no water. We had to show the waitress the pictures of the food on the menu. Our mains came up with our starters so when we were ready to eat the main courses they were cold. The staff were more concerned with the people having Hot Pot than coming to serve us. One couple got really fed up with keep being bothered by the waitress who kept coming over with food. In the end she told the waitress to just out the food down. We asked for the bill and reluctantly paid service charge. We had to help the waitress clear the table too. We also found we were sitting at one of the Hot Pot tables and all of us are quite short and small found it hard to sit comfortably as the seating was quite a way from the table and we could not stretch our legs out properly. There are wires going into a socket on the floor which were exposed and we found we kept treading in them. We will not be coming back. Shame as when they were up the road it was excellent. Just shows you big is not beautiful.

I not been here in many years but it still remains one of the better Chinese restaurants around. However, while there is no issue with quality if the food (although slightly bland) or service there was a lack of atmosphere ( on the evening). But it did strike me as a little expensive at £100 ( inc 3 x glasses of wine) for what I had. Of the three restaurants visited over my weekend in London this one left me feeling a little under whelmed : just lacked a ‘wow’ factor- which I think, even at this day / age you still need yo justify £100 for a (Chinese) meal
