The Good Earth Express in Camden

I not been here in many years but it still remains one of the better Chinese restaurants around. However, while there is no issue with quality if the food (although slightly bland) or service there was a lack of atmosphere ( on the evening). But it did strike me as a little expensive at £100 ( inc 3 x glasses of wine) for what I had. Of the three restaurants visited over my weekend in London this one left me feeling a little under whelmed : just lacked a ‘wow’ factor- which I think, even at this day / age you still need yo justify £100 for a (Chinese) meal

La última comida para llevar sabía que se había cocinado horas antes de que llegáramos (vivimos a 5 minutos del restaurante) rollitos de primavera empapados chile rallado carne de buey congeled y nada de eso era agradable. 3/10 en el mejor de los casos. Llamé para decir que no estaba feliz y me dijeron que podía tener un 20% de descuento en la próxima visita. No es suficiente. Ya no se recomienda.

Truly dreadful. Good Earth used to be the best Chinese in London but this was by some distance the worst meal I’ve had in a very long time. Tough and chewy squid, greasy ribs, items missing. Avoid.

I got a takeaway from the good earth and was not at all disappointed. The food portions were plentiful and the taste delicious. A bit pricey but value for money.

Amazing food. We had take away and found the food simply delicious the chicken n sweet corn soup was yummy, the duck with hoisin sauce was delicious. Thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for Chinese.

We decided to have a lazy take-away on Sunday night. We have ordered from here previously - was slightly disappointed then - but they have upped their game. Soft shell crab delicious!

Pedimos desde aquí por primera vez en fin de año. En general, toda nuestra selección de la comida era realmente deliciosa. En particular, el pollo con salsa satay y el buñuelo eran excelentes.Comparado con un montón de lugares de comida para llevar, nos pareció que este era de un nivel mucho más elevado. Este era patética, teniendo en cuenta que solo 4 minutos a pie del lugar.Caro, la comida era muy caro y de muy mala calidad.Por favor evitar! ! ! !

I ordered £60 worth of food through Deliveroo at 5:45pm. The food was due to be delivered by 6:45...it never came. I waited and checked my email. I called the Good Earth...the girl rudely told me they don't handle the delivery. I asked if my food left the restaurant, she said yes! The whole family was excited. By that time it was 7:20pm...no food. My deliveroo status said the food had been delivered! We ran down to see..nothing. By that time I had called Good Earth twice so finally called Deliveroo. He said sorry there was a glitch...there is no food. It was never made, it was never delivered, it was never accepted. It was 7:45pm on Saturday night with 3 starving adults and 2 starving kids. FAIL GOOD EARTH...just because Deliveroo is your delivery provider doesn't mean I'm not YOUR customer.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Very rude. Called to places delivery order as I have been doing for the last 3 years. I first asked could you deliver to the Royal Free Hospital as I was visiting a patient and they said no they don't. Despite delivering to me the night before. Then I asked can you deliver to my Flat which is literally down the street. They tell me no they don't deliver to flats. Where in the heck do they deliver to then. Very rude. I will be taking my business to another Chinese restaurant.

He sido un cliente regular por más de 3 años. Mis 2 entregas especiales han sido horrible. La primera mala experiencia que poner el chef tener una mala noche. No está mal que sucede. Entonces sucedió otra vez. La comida es simplemente no es tan bueno como lo que solía ser. Este lugar es sin duda, no es barato, pero felizmente espera pagar más por la buena comida. The food is very tasty and fresh , not the usual heavy chinese food. They are so many that your order will be ready before you expect. Good location, easy to park in front of it. very friendly and professional staff. Prices a bit to high for a take away. very well design food package! Recommend!

Not usually a fan of Chinese takeaway but the food here is nice, fresh, not greasy or shiny, nicely packed up and quickly delivered. Not the cheapest but worth it.

This restaurant does only take aways and deliveries. It is expensive but 98% of the time the food is delicious. We have ordered many many times.
