What a lovely night out at Took Took!! We ordered the Thai Sea Bass, Crispy Gyoza and the Grilled Chicken Satay. They were all delicious! The apple juice that we ordered was freshly made, and the Long Island iced tea I ordered was very well-made! Neha was our server. She was absolutely lovely and extremely attentive! Will definitely go again :-)

A hot summer's day and we were really hungry. This restaurant made us feel like in dinner heaven. Food well prepared, waiter absolutely friendly and helpful. Love the atmosphere.

Another re-heatery, nothing cooked from fresh! (Apart from the shredded white cabbage, hopefully?). Avoid ordering all snacks (all re-heated/fried from frozen bags and tasteless), duck was dry and from a ready-meal (we had to wait a while for it after the waitress crossed the restaurant with a supermarket bag of purchases that she took to the kitchen). Rice was claggy (and nothing like when you cook egg fried rice at home). Poor experience re. food. Staff was welcoming though.

We went to Took Took for a Sunday lunch-time. It was quite empty and there were many rather dark areas (one we rejected for a lighter spot at the back). Service was polite and friendly and we appreciated not been rushed to move on. The food was mostly good especially the chilli chicken and paneer. The green Thai chicken curry had potential, but it was a little under-flavoured and watery. I'm also not a keen fan of not having a separate plate to dish the curry and rice onto. Consequently my meal became a mushy mess. Other members of my party were generally pleased with their meals so we were happy to have chosen Took Took as a meeting point.

Great food and atmosphere. I’ve eaten in the restaurant and gotten takeaway and the staff is always so kind and attentive. Great local, family-owned spot in West Hampstead!

Ate here for the first time this evening and really enjoyed this independent restaurant. Our server (Bunny) was excellent and communicated very well in terms of asking about our desired timing for dishes (starters vs mains). Lots of vegetarian menu choices. Chili paneer was especially excellent, as were the vegetarian pad thai and the vegan chicken green curry. Food came quickly and was delicious. Looking forward to our next visit!

Overall just a lovely experience for two girls who hadn't seen each other for a while. The food was great! The music was really cool and our waiter ROY even took the trouble to bring us the CD to show us what it was when we complimented the music. Red Veggie Curry and what I loved best was that we could choose any extra toppings we wanted, which is very rare in a thai resto. The staff were very patient and sweet about all our questions. We will be back! My only complaints:The veggie balls which we thought were going to be like pan fried corn fritters, were a little overcooked and very deep fried. It was a shame they didn't have the red wine we actually chose the restaurant for by looking at the menu before we sat down but it turned out that the Pinot Grigio was just as good and went better with the food probably.

We were impressed with our cocktails but also with the main dishes. The starters were a bit meh of fish cakes and Tom Yum soup. The service was ok but not hugely enthusiastic, the price was a little steep particularly for the cocktails even if they do taste nice. Atmosphere felt a bit lacking. Restaurant has been here a long time but needs reinvigorating as feels slightly stale.

Am Tag unserer Anreise nach LON wollten wir eigentlich nur etwas Kleines essen. Das Asian Street Food erschien uns passend und war es auch. Wir wurden sehr freundlich bedient. Es werden nur alkoholfreie Getränke angeboten. Wir bestellten vegetarische und Fleischgerichte. Durch die Bank waren wir sehr angetan. Ob alles „authentisch“ war, weis ich nicht, es schmeckte jedenfalls anders anders als bei vielen Asiaten in DE. Lediglich ein unangenehmer Geruch aus dem Keller war recht störend.

Ordered vegetarian soup and it arrived with pieces of chicken, which my partner didn't notice and ate. Restaurant has been pretty poor and non sympathetic. The rest food was great, but obviously this one thing makes it an absolute no-go for vegetarian/vegan customers.

Tuvimos una camarera muy amable e hizo un buen trabajo. PERO habiendo vivido en el sudeste asiático durante muchos años, puedo decirles que esta comida no es ni remotamente auténtica, los sabores están realmente mal y no vale la pena para mí por esto.

Llamamos a Took Took para ver qué podían ofrecer sin gluten, ya que soy celíaco, fueron muy útiles por teléfono y pudieron recomendar muchos platos que podrían adaptarse para sin gluten. Nuestra comida se preparó muy rápido y cuando llegamos a recogerla nos regalaron un entrante extra (paletas de pollo también sin gluten y sabrosas) como agradecimiento por el apoyo a las empresas locales. Habiendo comido aquí varias veces antes, puedo decir que la comida es deliciosa y el personal es extremadamente servicial y conocedor de los alérgenos. ¡Seguro que volveremos aquí!

I ordered on Deliveroo and the food was delivered hot, quickly and was fresh and delicious. It's almost impossible to find pan-asian restaurants on Deliveroo who label their vegan options, but this restaurant have sections which are clearly labelled meaning I can order from them without having to worry. Not only was the food good, but they are providing meals to NHS workers which means they are ethical. Will definitely order again.

Dinner with close friends. I read about this place on Instagram and being halal and in a beautiful neighbourhood I was keen to visit... the drinks were wonderful. Berry mocktail was delicious. We ordered a number of starters and each item was good. The green curry was ok. Nothing special at all. I’ve had better in other Thai places. Red curry was good and better than the green. Pad Thai was again mediocre and nothing special. The Schezwan chicken noodles wasn’t good at all but it was taken back and it was also taken off the bill. Ambience is lovely there and service was very good indeed. Would I go there again? Probably not. I am gutted to say that.

Took Took have recently re-opened with a new name and a new, slimmed-down menu. Each dish has been refined and re-thought. It all tastes delicate and delicious, with attention to texture and presentation as well as flavour.

Delicious food. We had the lamb starter and were impressed with the high quality and the portion size. We had the spicy noodles which were hot (albeit bearable) and a delicious curry. Staff were helpful and not overbearing. This is the best Thai on west end lane! It may not look as fancy as some of the other places but it's the best!

I have been to this nice place with my boyfriend and another couple and we had very delicious drinks - berry mojitos! The setting is very welcoming and modern. I will come back for another mojito and to try the food as well...

We live quite close to Took Took and we know the menu well. The dishes are all freshly prepared and the size of the portions is perfect. The flavours are really authentic and everything is served with a smile. Highly recommended, whether you are a group of friends, with family, or even if you just want to pop in on your own for a good meal. We'll be back soon!

Un grupo de nosotros del trabajo visitó Took Took para un almuerzo de Navidad esta semana. Nos hicieron sentir muy bienvenidos, la comida era excelente y el servicio amable. Pedimos una selección de entrantes del menú de almuerzo de Navidad, que incluye pasteles de pescado, alitas picantes, samosas, rollitos de primavera, verduras en tempura y calamares, que era súper sabroso y cocinado a la perfección. Había mucho para disfrutar para vegetarianos y carnívoros. Para nuestros platos principales, entre nosotros tuvimos pollo o gambas Thai, curry verde tailandés y arroz con verduras, todo fue increíble, realmente sabroso.
